It is a very friendly and safe place. I have a severe case of fibromyalgia and the instructors are amazing. They modify my exercise as to how I'm feeling that day. They are all very encouraging and sweet.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about The Pilates Room in Eastlake. I found a groupon after having an idea of wanting to try Pilates. I booked the groupon and my first class easily. My first class went great. I told the instructor it was my first time, she was patient and really took care of me and watched my form. My second class is where I met the Instructor, Melissa W... She is absolutely amazing, ever since I took her class I have made sure to book my classes when I know she is instructing. She really knows how to make you feel comfortable and reads your form and body and knows how to push you in all the right ways! Because of Melissa, I've really enjoyed this class and Studio and I can't wait to take more classes!

I just signed up for a month at a promo’d rate and I was so excited to take my first class. I left my purse at home because I wasn’t sure if there were lockers and I didn’t want to leave my purse in the car. I checked in w the instructor. I gave her my name and she checked, yep I was on the list. I figured we were good to go and I was excited and nervous for my first Pilates class in years. That’s when she asked for my ID. I explained to her why I didn’t have it on me and she coldly kicked me out of class. It was SO embarrassing and she was so unkind about the situation. I didn’t receive any email letting me know I would need my ID nor did I see it any where when I signed up for my first class. I very much understand why having an ID would be their policy and I would have gladly followed this policy had they stated it ANYWHERE. Which they didn’t. I received ONE email from them pithing me a membership but NO helpful tips or rules before class. There’s a Pilates of Eastlake and I think I would rather try that studio out instead as I don’t even feel comfortable going back to Pilates Room in Eastlake. I would rather they refund me my money otherwise I just totally got ripped off. Either way I will not be returning. Try a different and NICER work out studio. There are SEVERAL in the east Chula Vista area who treat their customers w more kindness and respect.

I absolutely love both Kristin and Melissa. They both bring energy, light and love to their classes. They are both well educated in what they lead. I love how attentive they both are in encouraging each person who attends and even helping in making corrections where they need to be made. Love them both and what they do!!!!! Location is close to home, comfortable, clean, and welcoming!!

First time going here and the instructor would not let me practice without an ID. If this place is going to have such rigid requirements to be allowed to take a class, then this policy should displayed on the website as a person checks in for the class (like I did before the class) and throughout the studio. I found this instructor to be rude and unwilling to accommodate a new student. I purchased a whole month's worth of classes and this instructor had ruined Pilates for me.
