Ashlee is such a knowledgeable and supportive teacher. As someone new to Pilates (and reformer Pilates) I knew I was in good hands the moment Ashlee gave me specific feedback to work with my scoliosis. Her home studio is beautiful and provides a great space to work with the reformer outside of a group setting. I could feel my form improving over the course of our lesson. Ashlee is great!!

Ashlee is the BEST! I have been a dedicated client for over 7 years, working out with Ashlee 2x/wk! When I first started working out with Ashlee, I was unable to stand for more than 2 minutes at a time! After many unsuccessful visits to PT, my husband decided that I needed a more effective intervention. He remembered that I had wanted to do Pilates for some time, but never got around to it (life, kids, work - who had the time!). After doing some searching, he found Pilates with Ashlee and read the rave reviews. She was located only a few blocks away - super convenient - so I gave her a call. After my consult and first session with Ashlee I knew that this was going to be the answer! And was I right! I have built my core strength, increased my flexibility and balance, made my body stronger and built more confidence in trusting my body!

Ashlee is the BEST Pilates instructor - she is super knowledgeable about the body and every tiny muscle! She is attentive to detail making sure that my form and movements are correct and that I keep breathing! Her workouts are challenging, well-thought out and structured, fun and personalized! She is patient, positive and encouraging - she is my personal Pilates cheerleader! I am always amazed on how much I can do especially when I have doubts! I’ve been a consistent client of PWA (2xs/ week) for the last 8-9yrs~ CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?? I don’t think I’ve ever done a workout for this long because tbh, I don’t love it. I literally never write reviews, but I felt so inclined because Ashlee is that amazing, kind, and dedicated as a teacher, friend, and human being.

I’ve been training with her for over 2 years now, and she has completely reshaped my body composition. When I started, I couldn’t even hold table top position (IYKYK). For those Pilates junkies - she’s never makes you do 100s. Her workouts are tailored to your skill level and goals. While she works at the pace you are comfortable, she ultimately pushes you out of your comfort zone to build a strong core, excellent posture, and improved flexibility/mobility as you advance through your sessions.

She has not only been an incredible instructor but has a natural gift/intuition about body physiology and musculature. She has helped fix my front forward posture (tech neck), as well as build and strengthen the muscles to correct and prevent it.

Beyond that, she’s an amazing friend, confidante, supportive, and most of all a massive champion of body positivity, self care, and self confidence.

TLDR; go see Ashlee. She’s nothing short of life changing.

Let me start by saying, I was an absolute beginner to Pilates when I started… I had taken two group classes and could tell I needed one on one training if I ever wanted to see results.

We’ve been at it for about three months now and I’ve already had to buy new jeans, I’m down a whole pant size.

What’s even more amazing is that each session is personalized to you and your needs. I felt incredibly awkward with the machine when I started, but my confidence shows now (it may not seem like it, but this is a huge testament to her ability to work with any body).

I’m truly in awe of the results I’m seeing. I go 2-3 days a week, and have never gotten more compliments in my life. I could not recommend Ashlee more: for private sessions her pricing is exceptionally reasonable, if not low for the area, and the quality of the workout is unmatched.

I am a Pilates beginner and haven’t had any regular exercise since having kids. I found PWA through some light googling and am so glad I did. She’s patient, very good at explaining what to do, and constantly examining my form to make sure that I’m exercising the right things and not straining the wrong ones. There’s very little repetition such that you’re always trying new exercises and don’t get bored. I call it creative torture but I love how I feel during my sessions and after. I’ve been going to Ashlee for a little over a year and HOLY WOW has it been amazing! My body has been recovering from a really bad accident and it took years of pestering by one of my best friends to *finally* come see Ashlee — I was told she would fix me. Skeptical? Sure. I was feeling gnarly, my body hurt, I wasn’t the dancer I used to be and I can say with all honesty, I did not think I would get back to feeling good about myself. My body was too broken, even after PT and Chiro visits—all the things. Before I even had my first session, Ashlee spent over an hour on the phone with me—we got to know each other, she got to know what I needed, what was working and what wasn’t, and I jumped in. In the past year I’ve gone from hating how I looked in the mirror and how painful my injuries were, to being not only comfortable in my own skin but also feeling like I could trust my body again. The ankle and knee injuries that previously stopped me from participating in activities have slowly but steadily reduced—Ashlee helped me to trust my musculature to keep me safe. Lame squats and lunges are now perfect form. I activate my core on my roll ups, I lean into the glutes and quads, and I’m way more flexible these days. I cannot recommend Pilates With Ashlee enough. Private reformer sessions, spectacular and individualized training (seriously—you will notice the massive changes you can make within just a few sessions), and her personality keeps me coming back every week! No regrets, save for waiting so long to listen to my friend to come see Ashlee.

I’ve been doing Pilates for years. I’ve done both private and group classes. Ashlee is by far the best instructor I’ve ever had. She listens to your needs and forms the workout around that. Ashlee is fantastic! I've never had private classes before and it really makes a difference - Ashlee is knowledgeable, attentive, and encouraging. She makes sure to correct your positioning and always makes the work out fun. When I called  Ashlee through a recommendation of a friend, I had lost all hope. My words to her was masked through tears of suffering for years from a bad back, herniated discs, surgery during pregnancy due to herniation and multiple other aches and pains that would not go away. I had tried everything including other pilates classes and was convinced this was my burden to bear for the rest of my life. I started with Ashlee once a week and worked up to twice a week over 4 months. I have never been better. My disc is still herniated but the amount of daily pain i feel has diminished by over 50%. I am getting stronger and building up more muscle to cushion my back and correct my terrible posture. Ashley has changed my life and is the most competitive in terms of private class prices. Her attention to form is like nothing I have experienced, even  in the most recommended classes and teachers. This review is not to put others down but rather to highlight that I had tried everything and I was not getting the help or remedies I needed. Thank you Ashlee!!!

I trained with Ashlee during the majority of my pregnancy and I am 99% sure our sessions are the reason why my labor and delivery went as quickly and smoothly as they possibly could have. Despite the usual symptoms of nausea and heart burn, I had zero swelling and physically felt excellent during my pregnancy and was able to train up until my delivery date with no discomfort! I am one week post partum and feel almost back to normal in my body and am looking forward to starting sessions again once my doctor gives me the ok! On top of that, Ashlee was fun and supportive and always mixed up sessions (even with the necessary prenatal modifications) so they were never boring and always a good workout. 100% worth seeing her if you are considering it — Ashlee is a miracle worker!

I started at PWA about 3 months ago, with limited to no knowledge of Pilates BUT with an injured knee. I had injured my knee 2 years ago playing tennis—and never quite recovered back into my workouts.

I knew I needed to get back into shape for the health of my knee AND my mind. I asked my coworkers what they were doing for their workouts and one suggested their Pilates instructor, Ashlee from Pilates with Ashlee.
