I traveled from Toronto, Canada to San Diego specifically to see Conor after more than a decade of movement dysfunction & pain that was at times so intense that I couldn’t move at all and was sent to the emergency room. I’ve seen dozens of doctors, physical therapists, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeon, chiropractors, osteopaths, rheumatologist, you name it. The change I felt in my body after just two sessions with Conor exceeded everything I experienced in all those years combined. He did more for me in these sessions than tens of thousands of dollars of previous treatment ever did.

Conor has a deep (& in my opinion, rare) understanding of the human body. After so many years of trying to find the source of my issues, I learned to give lots and lots of details to describe exactly what was happening inside my body during different movements. Most practitioners would take in SOME of what I was saying but I could always tell when they were disregarding certain sensations I was describing, glossing over it, or simply not understanding.

Conor is the only person who has taken every single random comment/ body sensation that I share and says “It’s good that you told me that.” And then he explains exactly why I feel what I feel, what it means, and how it connects to the rest of my body. As someone who has spent years trying to understand my own issue, this level of knowledge, clarity, and ability to translate complex concepts into something I can understand and actually feel in my body is invaluable.

I see what I went through as a gift because I got to experience in my 20s what life is like with limited mobility. I learned firsthand how much the loss of movement shrinks your world, and I got to decide young that investing in my health will always be my #1 priority.

We want to live in a body we can use and be creative with. We don’t want to be in our 70s feeling trapped and like our body is a prison. So yeah all that said, coming here to was a worthy investment and I highly recommend! Conor, thank you!

Was great working with Conor. Super knowledgeable and very attentive to his clients. Worked with him for 2 sessions and saw notable changes and most felt better. He really embraces the concept of helping people understand their bodies and why they’re doing these things to lead to long term changes rather than “quick fix” stuff. Use his exercises and think about doing them as “practicing” and “learning” and it’ll be well worth it. 5 stars for sure

Connor and his team are amazing. I found him through his YouTube videos and was nearly out of hope by the time I found him. I’ve been through about 10 years of various PT through normal health insurance but none of it really made a difference. From my first session I learned some very unique but totally simple exercises that relieved my neck pain and changed how I used my leg and muscles which eliminated my lower back pain.

I’m now working with Connor and his colleagues in Houston to help change how bite alignment affects my body. If you are ready to stop trying the generic PT exercises that are everywhere and learn way more functional exercises that reprogram how you use your body then take the plunge and trust Connor and his team.

This is the first time l've actually left a review anywhere, but they deserve it. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

About 6 months ago I started to have shooting paint down my leg. Doc confirmed it was sciatica and recommend stretching and PT.

After working with a couple different PTs I was only feeling marginal improvement.
Then I met Conor. Soon into working with Conor and his team, not only was my pain going away, but I was feeling and moving better than I had with any PT.

I was really able to learn and improve not just my symptoms, but my ability to move and function. Being on my feet for the majority of the day, making sure that I both got rid of my current pain AND I'm improving my ability to fuction day to day has improve my life significantly. I'm not sure where l'd be today had I not been able to find Pinnacle.

Shoutout to Jacob (my personal trainer), Conor(watch your content EVERYDAY), Trevor!! I’m so happy you guys are in Sunny San Diego. Beautiful close to downtown, fine restaurants shops , Mexico , Orange County , LA not bad either.

Absolutely insane results in a short period of time! Range of motion doubled, tripled to normal range in minutes to one month overall. Moving like butter. Can’t wait to functional move again and do what I love.

In a wheelchair/walker limp last couple years , slowly progressing to walking normally within a month hopefully I can run jump shoot hoops dunk a basketball again and travel the world again freely 🙏

Initially found out about Conor’s methods through YouTube many of his exercises I have never seen anywhere before. Many people I have been to have a cookie cutter system on helping people get out of pain but with Conor and his team they make a specific program for each individual. When I got to the gym the first day trevor did some tests on me that have to do with range of motion within the first visit and some simple but unique exercises my back pain went from a 9/10 to a 3/10 and was able to walk upright again. Going to massage therapists, physical therapists and chiropractors never helped if anything (especially chiropractors) made me feel worse so I am glad I found these guys too bad I didn’t start earlier because now Portland will be losing one of the best when it comes to getting you out of pain. I highly recommend these guys my back pain hasn’t came back and it was getting to the point where I’d be stuck in bed every month or two for 5 days from hurting my back doing simple movements

I cannot reiterate enough what each of the previous reviews say. Conor, Jacob, and Trevor are inspiring confidence in people of all walks of life to find function again. I am sure like myself we would all give more than 5 ⭐s if it was possible. I believe in their process enough that I even took my wife and sons to them.

I have had chronic body pain and treatments for the last 25 years. I moved to Portland this summer and while searching YouTube for a way to relieve my back pain, I came across a couple of Conors hip capsule videos. That same week I had made an appointment to start PRI Physical Therapy. Before going to see that PT I had magically alleviated my hip pain with a couple free videos on the Internet! I still went to the PT, because I had no idea how to keep it fixed. My PT was good at PRI but I felt that I needed a more varied approach to actually be functional.

To my surprise Conor and his team are local. I went to see them and told them my story. They offered to work with my current PT in anyway to help me. After getting to know the team and their methods I believe they have found a niche that may be a better fit for many than traditional Physical Therapy and personal training. After 25 years of therapy I have never seen it integrated so well.

This team is willing and able to help you. I am currently seeing a doctor and I asked Jacob and Conor if they could come in and collaborate with them to help treat me. They were 💯 with it. As was my doctor.

Professionally I am a coach/trainer that wants to teach and help others. Even better I want to prevent others from suffering the way that I did for so long! These 3 guys are showing me that it's possible and I appreciate it more than words can say.

I've been having terrible episodes of lower back spasms for many years and have seen countless providers (PT, chiro, massage, etc). I was getting ready to give up but so glad I decided to see these guys first. Their approach has been totally different than anyone I've worked with before and sometimes the total opposite of other advice I've gotten. The results speak for themselves: it's been 8 months since my last episode of back pain and I'm feeling a lot less discomfort throughout the day. I also love some of the unique ways they cue strength movements that make my workouts feel like training and physical therapy combined :) They are constantly learning, collaborating with other experts in the field and applying new techniques and modalities - but it's always results driven. The process feels very collaborative and I respect that they are also willing to refer out when needed - you can tell that helping people feel better is their guiding principle. The only downside for me is that the gym hours are pretty limited... I would love some weekend options as well as mornings before normal work hours. But it's a very small inconvenience to trade for finally getting some relief from years of pain!! Thank you guys <3

I injured my back earlier this year after years sitting at a desk job and being in a hyper state of stress. I started implementing more mobility exercises as I began healing my body and wanted to find a functional space to be part of. I found Pinnacle Performance after some research and knew that there was something special about this place right away.

Words cannot express how phenomenal Conor, Trevor, and Jacob have been as I have worked on gaining confidence post injury, finding mind body connection, moving in ways that I did not know my body was capable of, and having an overall better relationship with movement. The knowledge that these guys have is unlike anything that I have had in my life. They provide so much patience, compassion, and care while pushing you to your highest potential and also honoring where your body is at with any injuries, aches, pains, etc. I have learned SO much from them and walk away after each session feeling stronger, more confident, less aches and pains/none at all, and a sense of the body awareness that I have been struggling to find until I started coming to Pinnacle Performance.

I came to this space after enrolling in a program to become a Certified Personal Trainer and these guys have been monumental in helping me understand important concepts, are so supportive as I enter into this new career, and have been such mentors to me as I move my body in safe ways that really challenge me. Biomechanics was a new concept for me but with the help of these guys, they really break things down in ways that I understand so that I have awareness of what is actually happening in my body as I move it. If you are looking for a team that goes above and beyond in your training, this is it.

I've been going to Pinnacle Performance for a year and this is hands down the best gym/ program I've ever been apart of. I've done training on my own, small group classes and personal training before.
After being involved in a 2nd major car accident, I wanted to get back into a gym but do so safely to no re-injure myself and came across Conor and Trevor. These guys really listen and work tirelessly to find something that is right for you and your body. Not only are they great, but everyone that works out here is awesome. I love the environment and something I look forward everyday. I can't recommend Pinnacle enough. Also, definitely the best bang for your buck when it comes to training and the level of attention and support these guys provide.

I am a disabled veteran who has had years of chronic pain, dating back to the late 90s when I was first injured. My body started breaking down pretty seriously about 7 years ago, so I switched from running, sports, and lifting to yoga, which helped for a while. I have spent the last two years deep in my yoga practice and physical therapy, both of which helped quite a bit... until they didn't.

Conor, Trevor, and Jacob have done a great job assessing the issues in my body and programming breath work and exercises to correct the compensations and imbalances I've built up over the years. I have a lot of experience in the gym, and I've been working hard on my body for years, but I've also seen them work well with people who have less experience with the same. They are extremely knowledgeable, and they are kind and patient. They are a power trio of exceptional dudes. They emphasize proper form and function without pushing you outside of your comfort zone. It works! You don't need to make yourself hurt to get stronger! Everyone in the gym is chill - don't expect a bunch of loud grunting meatheads throwing around iron. It's never crowded, so you can expect to get plenty of one-on-one time with the coaches, especially if you need help.

After trying perhaps 25 PTs over the years, I almost started to accept that all my life’s injuries will haunt me forever. Then I found Pinnacle Performance. Conor and Trevor focused on why and how to help my body to be able to reset so I could improve my posture and overall body health and not have to wake up every day sore or in pain!

I landed at Pinnacle Performance thanks to my husband, who trained with Conor in several of his programs, and programmed a visit for his own case with him and his team. I was not in specific pain and had poor knowledge of Biomechanics.

Conor, Trevor and Jacob are an enthusiastic and brilliant team. They are all very skilled and they can explain very difficult concepts in a manner these seem crystal clear. Spending a week next to them allowed me to see their dedication and passion, and it has been eye opening for me to the point I discovered I have myself some foot concerns that I will immediately address. Having no specific pain does not mean you do not need this team of experts! I constantly wear hills and was wearing running shoes not particularly supporting my feet. They assessed me quickly and suggested some other models, then re-tested me. My new shoes fit my body specifically, correcting what was the beginning of a postural problem which may have caused lot of pain.

My posture has surely improved and meanwhile I normally feel "heavy legs" due to my poor circulation I could not believe when, after a 5-hour flight to come back home from Portland, I felt simply great once jumped down the plane. So do not wait to be in pain to dig deeper into his Biomechanics program. This can also be prevention; it does not have to be only the cure.

After seeing with my own eyes how much a client improves under Conor's and his team guidance, I cannot help but strongly recommending everyone to step by and visit Pinnacle Performance. And if you cannot pay him a visit physically, he has a lot of online programs which are a good deal of knowledge.

Great experience which I am willing to repeat on a routine basis, to ensure my posture does not fall back to old habits and to prevent much more serious problems in my future.

Conor’s gym is a great experience. He and Trevor have a unique approach getting people stronger and moving better. For me, it’s like PT mixed with a normal workout, which keeps me more honest about doing drills/ corrective work. With multiple gym time slots everyday it is easy to get in and workout, I just wish there was a midday time to lift because that’s my favorite time to lift. I had been struggling with chronic neck and back pain on and off for the last 4 years after multiple injuries. I tried everything- acupuncture, chiro, massage, physical therapy, osteopathy.. and over 10 providers. While those things certainly aided my initial recovery, they didn't stick and I continued to experience flare ups and was very discouraged, unsure if I would ever find anything that would help me feel optimal.

I've done a number of fitness routines in the past including weight training, group fitness classes, swimming, running and at some point I end up injuring myself because of my imbalances. At Pinnacle, I have Connor and Trevor designing a custom program and constantly tweaking it with my feedback and periodic assessments almost like having a physical therapy layered on to personal training. It is such a smart way to train - I'm able to address the root of my issues, setting myself up for success for the long term and safely build muscle. Workouts are in small groups and Connor and Trevor are constantly helping out to provide guidance to ensure you have proper form and get the most out of your exercises. And importantly, they have created a gym environment where everyone feels welcome and supported, as if you're just hanging out with a group of friends. Conor’s knowledge and passion for personal training was obvious from our first interaction and is second to none. Conor did a great job of assessing functional limitations which were preventing me from completely recovering from an injury. He structured an individualized program which allowed me to increase mobility, strength and prevent injury recurrence. Conor continues to adapt the workouts which challenge me to continue to improve. I had followed connor on Instagram for quite sometime before reaching out to work with him for back pain. What got me to commit to his process was his passion for helping people. He has a ton of great info out on both Instagram and YouTube page that as a trainer had been following and implementing in my coaching strategy. The big take away for me was the patients and open line he kept for me during the process. Eventually through weekly meeting and some time the back pain got better and you could say he did his job too well because I unfortunately no longer needed him!! I’ve followed up however by attending his upcoming seminar and plan on taking some of his courses in the future! He really became a friend which is hard to do via zoom! Can’t say enough about this guy! He really knows his stuff. At the top of the game.
