Came to this location while I was in town for a few weeks. I came as a guest with my husband and my boys were able to take advantage of the free teens summer program. The front desk staff was very polite, helpful and professional. The gym equipment was clean and there were plenty of machines so I didn’t have to wait too long for anything. I would definitely come back when I’m in town again.

Hi, I will not be coming back to this gym. The employee with the curly hair and glasses who's working there now was about to ring me up for a protein shake. She then asks me if I have scanned in which I had 15 minutes prior with her. As a black card member, I don't get discounts for protein shakes so I don't understand why I was asked to scan in again. That's not the part that's upsetting.

She gets a phone call from another member with what appeared to be a billing issue. Rather than tell the member to please hold, she proceeds to have a 5 minute conversation with them. She never rung me up and when I finally asked if she was going to finish ringing me up, she raises her eyebrows at me as if I'm in the wrong. I put the drink back and depart. Please do better. It's not about customer service because the customer isn't always right but in this case, anyone would be upset.

Basketball court is extremely slippery from lack of maintenance, court is cleaned weekly but not waxed at all it seems. Lots of young kids play here and could easily have life changing injuries as a result of poor maintenance. Players have been complaining for months but seems like nothing has been done.

First day of membership and to be honest, much better than I thought it was going to be. I'm 58 and have had over 15 different gym memberships in my life. Golds, Nautilus, Club Sport, in Shape, Delta Valley, Ballys, etc. Clean, (I saw 2 people vacuuming and wiping down equipment), well laid out and not too crowded for early morning. Love the 'how busy' meter on the app and the digital timers and repetition counters on some of the equipment.
Being a personal trainer for some years in my younger days, I couldn't help but wish we'd had the 30 minute circuit training area and the TRX section.
All in all, great club so far. Only complaint was 3 of the 4 adjustable height cable towers were out of service due to frayed lines and these are high demand stations. Saw a few rolled eyeballs as others had to find other means.
Keep you posted to how quick their equipment techs get on it.

This particular gym is nice in size and structure with lots of different machines available I had a great workout that day as I was able to go from area to area without waiting for an extensive amount of time like some of the other smaller planet fitness I've been to. Everything was going good until now, I had some personal problems a month ago and I had to close down my bank account so I had to get a prepaid card that my job offers,I paid my dues I have the receipts for some reason on my account still showing that I owed money for my membership I don't know why if I personally paid at the front desk. Seriously disappointed with the circus they are running this summer. Apparently, Planet Fitness thought it a great a idea to offer FREE memberships to ALL teenagers ages 14-19. This gym has now become a high-school locker room. The bathroom is full of teenagers wasting space. It is overly and unnecessarily crowded and disorganized because of course you wouldnt expect a teen to put things back where they found them. They seriously need to consider limiting teenager hours to less busy hours or charging these kids; or they're going to drive away their paying members.

It's nice but it lacks many different things. First being, the space that the treadmill takes, fills most of the gym. Not many weights to deadlift or bench press. Not much open space to hang out with friends while waiting for somebody to finish their sets.

I signed up on 07/02/21 and have been there seven times since then. This is my first gym that I’ve ever joined, my last gym class ever in school was over +10 years ago. Some in the morning and some after work after a long day in retail in the evening. There really is no judging here!! I was afraid at first, given I’m a bigger, out-of-shape individual. But I finally went in for a tour after quitting drinking and replacing it with something more healthy. I was given a tour and signed up on the spot. The staff are very polite, and are super helpful for any questions I’ve had so far. The environment is motivating and inspiring, individuals of all sizes doing their own thing. Hardly anyone says a thing (to me, at least), and I love that! Working out at my own pace, without being judge. I love it here!

The pricing is very affordable, and for the Black Card members, you can bring someone for free with you as long as they’re over 13 and they sign up through a link you send them through the app.

There is no pool here or punching bags, though.

Please be aware, aside from the staff, I would say about 10% wear a mask at all times- myself included despite being fully vaccinated. If you aren’t afraid of that, this place is great!

They have private showers, private changing rooms, cleaning stations that are clearly marked for use of before and after workouts. I’m so happy I enjoying this place so far!

Although, some caution for night time. The gym is open 24/7, closed only on Thanksgiving/Christmas but there are some weary individuals outside. If you are a female, I would take a friend or a self-defense item to protect myself. Haven’t been here after dark, but the staff are happy to shoo away those individuals if needed. :)

Today was my first day using the club facilities in Antioch. The "Berg" is my home club.

The Antioch Club is very clean and a very small number of people are using the club between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m., so access to the machines is not an issue.

And I've been vaccinated twice for covid-19, so didn't have to wear my mask!

The bathroom needs a paper towel dispenser so people can clean up after themselves when they use the sink. I believe in "saving a tree" but I ALSO believe that "cleanliness is next to godliness!" I'm casting my vote with GOD! Fore_get the tree!

An alternative would be to have white towels for showering and for wiping down the sink!
