My first time at Planet Fitness, I was a bit nervous since I have never been a gym-goer. But I want to use the treadmill, so stopped in on Sunday morning. The co-manager was so nice and knowledgeable, the registration process was smooth, she explained all the functionality of the machine and other things in the facility, and I was off and treadmilling in no time! I'm impressed with the number of machines and options, and the place was very well kept. I feel very comfortable and sure that I will enjoy using this location.

I love the Planet Fitness gym in San Luis Obispo. I have a hard time with the Planet Fitness gym in Atascadero because the volume of the music is extremely loud. I do not enjoy loud rap Hip Hop music and there is a lock on the volume so they cannot turn it down. It is so loud that you have to yell at one another in the locker room to be able to hear your voices. I will continue to go to the gyms in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles but I won't be attending the gym in Atascadero anymore due to the Extremely Loud Music levels especially of rap / hip-hop.

This is very clean, good hours. I recommend the Spa program which help me in recovery. Also the meditation Pod is really great with lots of breathing tools. All the circuits are helpful. As for crowds it's pretty well managed by the app. So one or two stars mean you can visit your favorite equipment

I absolutely love this gym and the employees are absolutely amazing. Only thing we use the circuit training, religiously, and constantly people come in and jump in front of you when there’s a way to use the circuit and they camp out on machines and you get to the end of your circuit and they’re still on the machine. People use the circuit for there own workout and complete ruin it for those trying to do it the right way! There’s a huge sign right in front of it that says that employees monitor it and they absolutely do not. I just wish they would fix this.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've found my new happy place at the Atascadero Location! Why, you ask? Well, it's all thanks to their legendary water fountain revival!

You see, I used to approach the water fountain with a sense of trepidation, like it was a fickle friend that might let me down when I needed it most. But oh boy, those days are gone! The moment I pressed that button, I was greeted by a stream of water that danced with the grace of a river otter on a joyride! Hydration has never been this fun!

Not only is the water flow steady and strong, but the water tastes like it's been blessed by water nymphs who moonlight as master sommeliers. I'm half-convinced there's a secret spring hidden beneath the center that supplies this liquid gold.

And let's not forget the ambiance. The water fountain area has been transformed into a sanctuary for thirsty souls, complete with motivational quotes and serene greenery. It's like stepping into a zen garden, but with better refreshments!

A special shoutout to Rin, a staff member who was an absolute rockstar while the water fountain was down. They offered support, encouragement, and a few impromptu dance moves to keep my spirits high. Rin, you're a true gem in this fitness oasis!

So, to the fitness center management, thank you for this small but mighty upgrade. You've taken a water fountain and turned it into a liquid oasis of delight. Bravo! 🚰💦

Kuddos to manager Julie for setting the bar for all Planet Fitness’s high. Although there are quite a few employees that I adore (morning staff, 8-11am!!) , shout out to Tracy and Lara for always having friendly and smiling faces. PF Atascadero gives family vibes which I feel is necessary for some that may be nervous or intimidated to go into a gym. If that’s you, don’t be! It truly is a “No Judgement Zone.”

I am so happy we have a new Planet Fitness in Atascadero, CA. It is wonderful to have a gym that has everything you need to stay healthy and happy. I would like to give thanks to all those at Atascadero CA, planet fitness,
1). For being so kind to all their members, and treating each one with Hospitality.
2). My nephew who requires full supervision due to his condition at birth, "Special needs" is treated by the Manager and staff with great care, and do to their hands on involvement,my nephew loves going to the gym and working out, and I see the changes in his attitude and physical well being.
3). His mind seems so much clearer and his health has really improved greatly, he's lost some weight in the short time that we've been there and is building muscle, he looks great, his favorite machine's are Tanning bed, massage and the 30 minutes work out.
4) I want to encourage everyone that is searching for a great gym to come over and visit us, and be a part of something great, it has state of the art machines that works every part of your body, and it's great therapy for those that have injures, myself I was dyginose With multiple clyrosis
And a brain tumor, since returning back to the gym after years away I'm now gaining strength and a healthy body.

Horrible horrible horrible company. You will be charged so much to cancel and they will charge you for another month as well! Gym is extremely basic as far as equipment. Valley fitness is much better. This gym isn't even 24/7 open anymore. Total waste of money. When I cancelled online I was charged weeks later and when I called they said you can only cancel with a manager. Ridiculous.
