This gym is large, but the men's restrooms are small, dirty, and without toilet paper! There was toilet paper on the floor. Honestly, I'll never go back to that place. If they can't keep the restrooms clean and organized, they should just close them down. I don't know how this place has this rating, because given the filth, it should be a 0.

When did the music in this place get louder and louder especially in the lockers. Their no need for the music to be loud. Theirs one worker in the mornings that just seems like shes tired and mad and doesnt say hi. Very un pleasant. Also the music changed. Wat happend to the rock and stuff that they had on. This locations needs to check their staff and lower the dam music i could hear it over my earphones.

I changed my review from 1 star to 2 stars because last time I went the floor and showers were at least clean, but the most important one was not rectified... the toilet seats always have some type of questionable matter of some sort on them... I'm not sure if that's just how they look or if they're dirty. Owner may want to invest in new toilet seats that look clean

The equipment is basically in order, well-maintained. The staff is very kind. But the showers and toilets are dirty. The curtains in the shower stalls have not been washed or treated with disinfectants for a long time. And this is very visible. But of course it is not easy to constantly clean up the garbage - People who go there should be more educated in this regard.

I have been invited as a guest on several occasions to the Buena Park location and I am truly impressed with their organized and clean establishment but mostly their staff (I should use the word Team because that is how well they work together.) Garret, Branden and Eric are always helpful and involved with all their members. They are all knowledgeable and willing to learn fresh new ideas and always going above what is expected in customer service. Coming from 20 + years experience in customer service I am thoroughly impressed and excited to share my experience. I also want to give recognition to a newer member of the team he has all qualities needed to fit in with the rest of staff and also a pleasure to be around. The women's handicap shower is constantly broken and never gets fixed. The hose is broken and the water can't be pushed thru the shower head and its been like that for a couple weeks now. I would think they would check the showers for proper function when they clean them so this doesn't happen cuz some of us can't use the regular showers and depend on the shower head in the handicap stall. Skits a huge inconvenience when it gets broken and no one bothers to notice or notices but refuses to fix it. It only takes a second to turn it on and check that it works and water pressure is normal. This has made it quite inconvenient to utilize this location being the only location open 24/hrs for those of us who function on a swing schedule.

Costa Mesa planet fitness is in need of repairs . There is an out of service shower because there's no shower head and 1 of the 3 sinks does not work. I've reached out to the staff about this but they don't seem to care less

Buena Park Is one of the best Planet Fitness gyms around. They always got me on the Massages. I travel for work and use many gyms. This Gym is cool. Sometimes when I have free time I just come in for massages. The dudes are always quick, courteous and professional. Love visiting this place. I don't know the new girls , but the young woman with the story hair is always happy, professional and cheery. Just an overall positive attitude making it a great experience. 👍

Turned on the shower to the hottest setting and it was freezing. Thought maybe if I let it run a bit it’ll warm up. Nope. It got colder. So I thought maybe I turned the knob wrong, adjusted it every which way and how and it was still freezing. The locker rooms in need of some serious upkeep.

This is the most dirty PF I have ever been to. The windows are dirty, the lockers look like they have never been cleaned. Their paint is peeling. Shower stalls have the stuff from other ppl in them. Fixtures in the bathroom are broken. Shower water is lukewarm. The franchizee keeps a skeleton crew, so no wonder this PF is not as clean as other PFs. There are no couches, chairs or table in the Black Card Lounge. On the plus side, it has a bank of TVs for the cardio ppl, it's not crowded, parking is easy and says it stays open 24 hours.

Too many broccoli hair boys crowding the gym during peak hours. They also give out free memberships to teens during the Summer, so if you're a crotchety old man like myself, you're constantly thinking "get off my lawn" at Planet Fitness. At least it's clean and well maintained

I work out at the Buena Park location which is kept very clean and tidy. Staff are extremely friendly. I have been a member of many gyms in the past, but none can compare to my experience at planet fitness. The crowds are low and I seldom have to wait for any desired machine or bench for free weights. I believe it's the best deal in town.

Location doesn’t seem as spacious as the other Planet Fitness locations I’ve been to. The layout felt a tad-bit crammed; (especially near the dumbbell area). I managed to exercise without difficulty which was great, but I imagine it would maybe be harder to find mirror space to watch my form during a higher traffic time. The bathrooms seemed nice and the shower I used was very clean, but the lockers had a very strange rust on them, which I had never seen before at a Planet Fitness location (having gone to maybe 30 locations around the country). Staff seemed very nice and welcoming, which was extremely inviting. My 3-star rating would probably change to a 5 if they could update and rearrange the layout a bit and fix the rusty locker situation. However, I would definitely exercise at this location again and I had a lovely time! I love being a Planet Fitness member!

Clean, everyone wipes down their machines with sanitizer when they're done. They have all the basic machines you need but no normal Olympic bench press with free weights, no real squat racks, no pool, no basketball court, no steam room or sauna, and I've never heard the Lunk alarm go off!

The place is clean and employees are super friendly. I got the black card membership which is supposed to come with free training, but there are no trainers ever on-site. I'm told they haven't had trainers in 2 years. Make sure they have trainers before you pay that membership. I would love to know if they will refund the difference for the regular $10 a month.
