I have had a good experience at the Calexico Planet Fitness the staff was a good at helping me with finding everything also explaining where things were located the other members were kind and respectful towards one other. Manager and assistant manager were amazing. They were there to help out anytime I needed help. I signed up at the El Centro planet fitness and it was nowhere near as nice as Calexico planet fitness (equipment and staff wise). Every day for a month, I used the red light therapy, Hydro massage lounge/ bed and massage chair. Would recommend this gym to anyone in the area. Again because of the Manager and assistant manager, taking the time to explain everything even know I didn’t sign up at there gym.

Overall, Planet Fitness is okay, but I've noticed some ongoing issues that need attention. Several machines have been out of order for more than a couple of weeks. Interestingly, the gym is quick to charge the monthly maintenance fee, but it makes me wonder where that money is actually going. It’s certainly not being spent on the upkeep of the premises or the equipment. Currently, we have over six machines that have been broken for several weeks with no signs of repair. It would be great if the maintenance we’re paying for was actually reflected in the facility.

Lo peorcito de calexico, nunca puedes hacer tu rutina por qué todas las máquinas están ocupadas, no puedes dejar cosas en tus lockers por qué los empleados te lo abren y te roban tus cosas (que las tiran) dicen , tuve una mal experiencia me enferme y no pude asistir en 2 semanas dejé mis cosas en los lockers de el baño de mujeres y literal lo abrieron y las tomaron robaron o tiraron según ellos la política de los lockers dice que solo es el uso en el gym 24 horas pero que las tienen que guardar hasta que el dueño las reclame cosa que no respetaron fue más fácil embolsarselas aunque la membresia esté activa aunque los empleados te digan que si las puedes dejar no es Vdd te las roban 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 cancele por supuesto ✊

The “Best” Planet Fitness gym in the Imperial and San Diego Valley! The staff is always friendly and greet all there customers with with a sincere smile the moment we walk inside. The gym and restroom facilities are clean and well maintained. Not to mention the staff is constantly replenishing the designated cleaning stations. All fitness equipment is working properly and you NEVER see equipment down due to proper maintenance.

The manager Ana is rude condescending and only helps the Spanish speaking Mexicans. Myself being a Mexican man she treated me in Spanish I just said hello and told her I don’t speak Spanish she rolled her eyes and didn’t help me as my barcode would load on the app. This was I believe Thursday there was another gentleman who came up and Ana started talking to him in Spanish still I received no help another teenage boy came in stoped at the desk and was immediately help as he said his number in Spanish. Then finally Ana asked if I needed anything and was very upset when she couldn’t find me in the system. I didn’t know it mattered I was from San Diego she then said “ you don’t have a membership you can’t workout” I have a black card I was finally able to get it to load . Gym was clean but management. Could be better

The receptionist was rude and annoying this morning in a man' locker room, where he followed me and harrassed me

Went in to use my membership & the front counter lady told me that even though I’m up to date on my current monthly payments that because there’s two payments from 6 months ago that are not paid and they require me to travel back to Eureka, CA (I’m from WV so I’m not going back there) to pay a bill that they should just charge to the same card they’ve been charging. The counter woman started helping other people and didn’t even bother to try an help me. Worst experience ever which triggered my BPD so I had to leave before things got out of hand. I want a refund since you’re taking my money and not allowing me to use the service I’ve paid for.
