Great working out gym for beginners - I started lifting 45 and stayed humble after all it’s all in what you eat that builds you’re muscle and not the pre workout . It’s not how much you can push but how much muscle mas you actually have . I’m rating the overall management- schedules are all over the place and the people who actually clean and stock up aren’t appreciated those are the workers that need to be promoted. Especially the Night crew .

Not a very welcoming place to come and workout, they’re staff members have a very terrible attitude and the manager it’s the worse planet can have , the shower are disgusting with soap scum and very dirty bathrooms never have seat covers or toilet paper and the sanitary are never has towels and you tell the team members and answer you rude to bring up to the manager and manager get mad, not worth paying black membership at all !!!!!!

Let me just say that these youngsters kids/Grown adults who come to gym are always hogging the machines or either they sit there using there phones or chitchat like if there in a reunion or something! Seriously maybe there should be a rule if not using the machines at least have the decency to let others use the machines. Other than eles the employees are excellent and very friendly.

I'm back at PF as is Tuesday April 1, and the lady thatcis re stocking the cleaning stations, pass by the 30 min workout and she noticed that there is not paper towels and the station and she just left!! I don’t think I’ve ever encountered worse customer service in my life. Planet Fitness has mastered the art of making you feel completely ignored and undervalued. Every time I’ve tried to reach out with a question or concern, it’s like they’ve taken a vow of silence. The staff is incredibly unhelpful, disinterested, and seem to go out of their way to avoid any kind of assistance.

Alan will revoke memberships without warning because of pictures but will turn a blind eye when his coworkers smell like straight weed. At least give a warning before putting your footdown on revoking passes. When the coworkers smell like weed, it's a horrible environment to work out in. Planet fitness do better, and please give these people another chance to work out by giving them their passes back. Just because Alan had a bad day or has stuff going on at home doesn't mean he can just revoke passes and memberships.

Edit: Planet fitness alan is the manager, so for me to reach out to the manager would basically make me get dismissed almost immediately. Please help give member back their memberships. Some of them did basically nothing, but because Alan thought they were taking pictures, he didn't hesitate to revoke their memberships. Also he kept mentioning the policy but the policy on picture says that the privilege can be revoked at anytime yet Alan hadn't revoked it he just decided to kick them out. This happened outside in the actual workout space not the locker rooms.

Lionel, one of the pf staff, gave my friends and I serious attitude when it was time to close. We were towards the front, finishing our last set, and there was still about 15 other people in the gym, but he was adamant about not letting my friend finish his last set even though there other people were clearly still working out. However, the other staff member was nice enough to let us finish, which took no more than 15 seconds. Nothing against the place just this one particular staff member.

I dig the facility's go-to for everything when I come in town. Pretty easy self learning. i like it here, but It has a few bothersome issues withn the showers. The stains blood on the walls and floors at times, or it's grease i dunno. Mold or fungis on the curtains(YUCK) and now two showers are outta commission and makes it critical with inconvenience at this facility. I've talked to the district manager about installing a few blackcard members showrrs. STRICTLY FOR BLACK CARD🤞🥴. I see no repairs being done so far. It's been a week or so now. Down to 2 showers

It depends on which location. Cathedral City is, by far, my favorite 😍. Indio did not live up to planet fitness standards. No hydro chairs, too small, no room dedicated to arms or a bigger facility to accommodate proper machines for someone to work out their entire body in one section of the 🏋️‍♀️ gym.

Went today and the whole vibe blows away the other PF off 111. That one is way too small. The Coachella one was very roomy and was able to get the job done that I came in to do. The guys at the front desk are GOAT. Very awesome experience here !!

UPDATE: Emailed the email provided by "owner" it was no help because the person who helped me through that email told me I would need to speak with a manager directly because the email below is use to make general question, not about issues or concerns about the club.

It used to be a great gym but I don't know what happened. I been coming here since 2015 and it appears no one is checking in on the lockers. People are leaving their locks in the lockers which means there are fewer and fewer lockers available to use. 1 locker in particular #85 in the women's locker has been untouched for almost 1 year! There was a girl working out right next to the machines and instead of the employee asking her to move a bit away to avoid getting hit, he sat down and started talking to her. Some machines need to get fix or apply some kind of oil because they make weird noises when you work out. They are lacking it.

Definitely this place is catered to women. 70% of total equipment is either treadmills ellipticals or bikes . Not a single bench press rack nor for squats. I'm not a big fan of Smith machines. It's only $10 a month, you get what you pay for. It is very clean though but can't say the same bout some of their customers.

Mask policy and enforcement is arbitrary at this establishment. This isn’t my “home” gym I was working in the area. First off I understand the mask policy is not something that Planet Fitness arbitrarily implemented but a state edict. Planet Fitness does have the sole discretion on how they enforce the policy and this is where this location fails. I was singled out and approached by staff on the gym floor on how to wear a mask. This was plan harassment. I obliged without confrontation. What I did do was document how other individuals within the gym were wearing their mask in a exact manner I was this also included an employee. Not one of those individuals were ever approached by staff. If you’re going to enforce a policy it has to be across the board and not just targeting one individual. Targeting and harassing me has created ramifications that I am sure the franchise would like to avoid. I would highly suggest this location review their enforcement policy and if they are going to approach one person then everyone who is wearing a mask in a similar fashion needs to be approached as well.

The woman's showers were dirty. I was here early like around 10Am. Lots of hair on the sides and in the drains. Only one was clean and that was the one I used. Also make sure you have a mask. They do not have any for customers and you have to have one to go inside.
