Equipment looked clean and well maintained. Showers and bathrooms not super clean. No hot water. Pretty sure when I popped in at 4pm to check out if I’d shower there the same guy had been in the handicap shower and was there at 7pm and the entirety of my entrance, shower, and exit. Hopefully he was alive…

I would avoid if just showers and no workout. Area and parking lot a bit sketch. Opted for this one over the far worse reviews for Ontario. So far, even my San Diego (CA in general) visits at PF have been the worst I’ve encountered in 7 weeks on the road across 5 states.

Hopefully this helps travelers. Half showers had no shower heads, btw.

Judgmental gym and rumors are spread more than wildfires. Music is not a great communicator if words fail, the members, and to the owner, no. And they'll call you the problem. If I can put less than 1 star I would. Some staff are nice others don't like your progress

Wanted to get Classic membership and was told they need both, my bank information and credit card information for their file. Why would anyone risk giving bank information and also Credit Card for a monthly $15 fee. I walked out. Cannot risk giving that, and it’s ridiculous that they ask for that. They would not agree to take only credit card info for automatic monthly charge.

The best gym with best price and best people specially Adrian(if I spelled his name right). Everybody is so helpful here that I sprained my back and asked them can I please use the massage chair but I have classic membership and the guy Adrian didn’t even charged me for that and let me use it also he guided me what to do next even though he is not my personal trainer. And all other people who work here are too good and always smiling and greeting everybody too nice that even if somebody is in bad mood they get happy to see them.
I give all of them 5 stars for everything. This gym is more worth than its price. I wish

I live in madera, ca and I’m used to going to the planet fitness at home, so it’s pretty cool to see how different the layouts are at other planet fitness’. I was greeted at the door and told to have a great day when I left ⭐️, the place is clean and everything is easy to find. I enjoyed my workout here. Thanks for being great at your jobs you guys. I also used the shower and the water pressure was like being under a good waterfall; relaxing. 😌

The gym is eh, has basic equipment. But it's like any other gym where they are very scummy. They will do everything in their power to make you think you canceled but keep charging you. I've had my bank block them multiple times and had to get multiple refunds.

I've been coming here now for a couple years. The end of last year they updated a lot of equipment and got some new machines and new attachments, weights, etc. For the most part this gym has always been pretty clean. The area is sketch and there has been a couple of incidents in the parking lot and inside the gym, but for the most part, it's a good location. People here are pretty courteous, but there's a few that just help themselves not thinking to ask about people using weights, etc. but that's kind of everywhere you go. The staff has always been nice & helpful as well, all in all I think it's a great gym to work out at considering what you pay.

They recently brought in new cardio machines. The new ones are nice but I miss the old ones. The new stationary bikes seem to be less accurate then the old ones. If you slow down your pedaling the average MPH somehow still goes up? Also the Heart Rate sensor seems off. If I pedal at a steep incline for 20 minutes my HR never goes over 110??? Never seen that on any stationary bike. Besides that the gym is nice except for the homeless that hangout outside

Just letting you know that this gym recently replaced all their life-fitness ellipticals with Matrix brand ones. The Matrix brand ones are so badly designed that they are actually a workout deterrent. The moving handles have such terrible ergonomics that on handle push, you have an exaggerated forward arm reach and forced adduction on your wrists, and on pull, there is a pronounced abduction on your wrist. After using this equipment my wrists were strained and I no longer want to use these ellipticals as they are a repetitive strain injury waiting to happen. In addition to bad ergonomics, it has other poor design choices showing how little thought was put into this machine. There is no HRM on the moving handles, and the water bottle placement is so far a reach from you, that you basically you cannot take a HRM reading, nor reach for your water without breaking your workout cadence. I encourage PF staff to verify what I am saying. I don't want people to stop coming to your gym, but this equipment is shockingly bad.

The massage beds for the black card members constantly out of service. The tanning beds are filthy, or out of service. . Tanning lotion all over walls, dead roach on floor past two days, trash overflow. Door doesn’t lock on tanning room 3 for over a month . Have complained to staff…they act concerned, however nothing changes. They used to have a table and chair In room to set your belongings on and chair to put shoes on. They have been missing for months. The worker told me they were supposed to be getting new ones but still none. My husband refuses to go back due to poor conditions. Tired of paying for black memberships when all equipment constantly broken. Even a staff member says the manager doesn’t call for repairs right away once things break.

They have showers, but you need to bring your own supplies. They don't have a pump dispenser. I wish they had a steam room. I wish they had a sauna. There's a lot of I wish.

After pre-workout drink and banana. I like to have a bowel movement before working out. To avoid any accidents or the passing of gas. Well there was only one Restroom stall in service. After waiting a few minutes for another club member to be done in the stall. I discovered no toilet paper available. So I just decided to leave and maybe next visit would be a better experience.

All in all, Easy to park (Early Morning) Well lit parking lot, Warm Welcoming from staff, Comfortable Judgement Free feeling environment.

Since I've been here I've started to notice that some of their machines are not aligned properly and that doesn't seem good for that body over time. The calf machine’s backboard is uneven and I told someone about it but it doesn't seem fixed. The hamstring machines don't look symmetrical with certain parts on the equipment and it's the same for other machines. Other than that, it's cool that their shower has a little area you can put your shower stuff within the shower.

This review is based on the theft that’s been going around the gym ! I’ve been told there has been several times that lockers have been broken into ! I understand it’s not the staff fault or anyone’s but the thieves but if they know there has been countless of times that lockers have been broken into wouldn’t you think that the staff would do something about it ? NO they haven’t done nothing about it . This gym doesn’t compare to the other planet fitness of Cajalco . This one is not as clean . Staff don’t do anything but stand there and talk . No toilet paper . Bathrooms dirty etc . This review is only for the customers so they can be aware of the theft that has been going around . My advice is buy a good lock

The gym is clean but sometimes smells a little like a dirty jock strap. And the dark lighting mixed with the green and purple colors makes it look dirty, but it's actually quite nice inside. Locker rooms could do with some tidying up, but it's not terrible overall.

I only use the treadmill, because I'm exclusively there for cardio training, so no opinion of the weights or other machine. Treadmills are mid. Could use a more regular cleaning by staff, because when I got to my regular machine, the cup holder had orange goop in it. Didn't deter me, I still ran like Forrest Gump for an hour straight.

Parking lot is 0/5. Cramped and weird to park in. I'd rather walk to the gym, but by that point I might as well skip the treadmill altogether.

Not as soy-boy as I originally expected. I see a few people wearing muscle shirts and making noise while working out, which shouldn't be shunned in the first place.

Staff is friendly and wish me a good workout every time.

I went into the corona location this morning with a friend and had the most PHENOMENAL experience EVER! Miss Eyleen was quick to greet me with a smile, help get me checked in, and answer all of my questions! She even went out of her way to continue to check on me throughout my visit to see how I like the equipment, massage chairs, and explain the buddy check in process. I have to admit, this is the BEST customer service I have ever had at PF after returning from a few months off the gym. This woman deserves a raise! Didn’t realize this was a religious based facility. Closed on Saturday before Easter for observance, earlier than what had been previously posted on signs. Last I heard, he was dead on Saturday & didn’t raise from the dead til Sunday.
Closed on Sunday, pretty sure people want to still work out on sundays. All other gyms were open in the area. Very disappointing as they claim to be always open.

The facility is pretty good sized. The only thing that could use a bit more attention is the tanning rooms. They were not wiped down as often as the other equipment but when I did say something to one of the young gentleman he quickly ran back grabbed a towel and solution came straight back to apologize and asked Herold please clean it for me before I used it. I'm genuinely impressed by his quick thinking and professionalism. I wish I had caught his name because he deserves recognition for sure!

This gym deserves 5 stars for having such an excellent staff on duty. Christina and Alejandro went above and beyond in order to contact me to let me know that they had found my keys that I had lost after visiting the gym. I made the mistake of not leaving my name and information in case my keys had turned up and opted to check back in within the next few days. Rather then wait for me to contact them they took the time to locate my name and contact # through their database and notified me that my keys were found and safely stored. I can't thank them enough for their concern and sense of urgency.
