Only posting a written review because the business seem to be keen about it. And no, I won’t be calling or emailing because I have already passed on the issue to one of your managers who caused this headache, A.C.
I signed up for black membership last weekend, next day I brought a guest and enjoyed the facility to the fullest extent I could at the time.
Next day, I brought another guest with me - I was told by A.C. that they could not use any of the amenities that a black member was promised to. But before saying that they were offered hydromassage as well. Which was exclusive for the black members. So, no issues there.
They were right, this was in the agreement.
My only frustration was - I asked about this to G. during the tour. I was told my guests could use anything as I did. 2 of the associates I encountered with till this person who blocked my guest’s access to amenities ignored that restriction and helped, or maybe they were unaware.
But for a business this was unacceptable and unprofessional. Get me to sign up for the membership, and change the circumstances 2 days later. Nope - consistency matters.
When I wanted to cancel my membership, this manager A.C. claimed I could not cancel my membership within 5 days of signing up - therefore no refund.
The only problem is, this is not how it is on the agreement.
Agreement states if you cancel within 5 days of signing up, you are entitled to full refund of whatever you paid. If cancelling after 5 days, then no refund.
So this associated tried to trick me into missing the deadline therefore leaving my entitled refund to them for all I know.
When I said lets enforce the policy fully, not partially, they said they would need to ask their general manager’s help on that and call finance dept too to ensure that is correct.
Well, another reason I won’t be using planet fitness ever again: you enforce partial policy when it works out for you, but you seek confirmation from higher ups when it doesn’t. How is that fair, honest business?
Inexperienced managers lose customers over simple rules in their policies, even though that is not consistently enforced in any branch. But when it comes to fully enforcing the policy, they seek assistance from their manager’s because they aren’t prepared for what doesn’t work for them. This is another form of bullying by inexperienced power holders.
I’m glad this wasn’t my first rodeo. This lady manager needs to enforce the policy fully if she intends to do so, and if not, she needs to know some rules could be stretched to avoid losing business. You’ll never succeed in business life if you partially enforce your policy when they are convenient to you.
Thankfully I have received my full refund after consistently following up and indicating my bank would be involved if no confirmation of a refund.
Except manager A.C there, everyone else was nice at this business. No issues with my communication at any point, no nonsense restrictions, nothing.
Gilberto, sorry my friend, your 30 mins tour you gave me was wasted by this person.
Avoid this business at all costs. Inconsistent and untrustworthy.

I joined yesterday and so far so good. The people that work there have been really nice, One of the employees gave me the full tour.

Generally the people that are going to the gym seem to be relaxed and focused on doing what they want to do and not socializing. This doesn't seem to be the place to come if you're looking to make friends but that is also one of their selling points.

If you are looking to join see if you have a friend who has the membership because they can get a month free.

You can't beat the price. For $25 a month I get full access to the facility. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they only have 4 Smith Machines and zero squat racks. But if that's not your thing, then you'll do fine.

They make it impossible to cancel your subscription. Online it says the only way to cancel is to call your local club. I called my local club (which is this specific one) and they said they can't cancel over the phone, that it has to be done online. That makes 0 sense. Yet they are still trying to charge me for every month, even though I haven't even been there once. They offer absolutely no help In canceling and tell you to look for help elsewhere.

Be careful with your belongings. I had my locker broken into and my credit cards stolen. Very disconcerting. I let the staff know and they said they would look at footage but doesn’t change the fact that I’ve spent all day cancelling my cards and ordering new ones. To the person that stole my stuff, I hope the 3 useless pieces of plastic bring you joy, karma will inevitably find you.

Revised: this is the response that I expected would be given. Certainly don’t be concerned that anyone is breaking into lockers in your facility. Reason behind my review is so other people don’t get fooled into the false sense of security that your facility has created.

I've worked out at all. Kinds of planets fitnesses all over the country as I travel for work... Using showers using the facility using the equipment.... Today I ran into something very special. I showed up. I had a gotten off. A plane was going to wait for someone else to pick me up that I get a workout and...... Manager wouldn't allow me to go in. Said they couldn't allow the bags on the floor wouldn't assist me or acomadate in any way with regard to my bags and basically said I couldn't work out..... Do I have journal quotation? Which was unnecessary? He made no accommodation to workout anything. So I bought a lock that quickly backpack in my locker. And I left my bag sitting in the locker room. So I could work out that's all I had to do. But his unclear method communication smills and confrontation that was totally unnecessary..... Then when I tried to speak to him about it to clarify things. He didn't pull me aside. He talked to me in front of the customers. And he talked over top of me and that only escalates confrontation when somebody talks over. Talk to you when you're trying to communicate with them.... He was constantly looking down and looking away from me. Rather than attention to the situation and won't discuss. Talking to and aloenaying other customers whole ignorong me .. Ansolutely no customer service only bullying.. and boss syndrome

The manager upcharged my gf triple the amount and said it’s because she didn’t have funds in her account even tho they still took the money out and REFUSED to give a refund. On top of that the manager hung up on us. And the girl at the front desk opened two accounts under her name when she told us she cancelled the other one! SMH makes no sense

After mentioning to Francisco at the front desk that my girlfriend and I drove 6 hours to Corona for business, he helped us obtain a 3-Day pass for our short trip. We had trouble finding a gym that was affordable, clean, and accessible to our specific needs. We are definitely grateful for Francisco and his professionalism and will be back to this gym.

Building looks bigger on the outside than when you're inside it and everything seems fresh and new, Also, the staff is cool and I recommend using the training area or quick workout area if the machines are too busy cuz not that many people use those ones... stand up beds only tanning, kinda a bummer! This gym I likethe most is nearby me is very clean and all the machines work. I really like that because the other location I went to they only had one massage chair, working and they didn’t have no trainers. Everyone cleans up after themselves, and is very quiet. Definitely recommend.

Decent gym especially for beginners before going to a professional gym like ufc or reign. But unfortunately my car got broken into while being parked in front the gym just on the side….with no cameras. I’m not blaming the break in on them but still putting no cameras on all sides of the building where numerous people park on and having other break ins and someone getting stabbed :/. Disappointing that a gym that’s hugely popular in the crossing and dos Lagos area doesn’t give the comfort of having cameras just in case of something. What if I or someone parked on the side again got assaulted and there will be no cameras to identify the suspect. The workers didn’t even show any concern that my car was broken into they just carried on with their conversation after I had to ask myself for their phone to call the police while I was the phone already with my fiancé. Planet fitness needs to add cameras immediately

It gets pretty busy during summer with all the high school kids on summer break. Have to go before 7am to get the equipment you want. After 9am, forget it. It's groups of teens hanging at the machines talking and socializing. There are plenty of elliptical and treadmill machines and the front desk staff are pleasant. Now that it's winter, the weekend is crowded. Go figure 🤔. Overall, I like this gym. It has everything you need and is convenient.

I have been going here for about 5 months now and I used to enjoy it. I have noticed a substantial increase in the amount of waiting I’m having to do to use just about everything. The only exception is the cardio equipment as there is plenty of those to go around.
There is a promotion where kids get to work out during the summer and it’s really getting crowded in this gym. I get wanting to keep kids physically active, but I wish there was something to restrict that to off peak hours.
The restrooms and locker rooms are usually in good shape but there is often no soap in the mens restrooms. Also when you wash your hands it smells like rotten eggs.
I will continue to try and work out here but if the crowds continue to grow, and I find myself waiting more than working out I will go elsewhere. There is a much larger LA Fitness only a few miles away and membership is similar to that of the black card price.

" No judgement gym" means just that. And plenty of equipment to work with. Love the hydro-massage and the spa chair after my work out.
And then I returned to the gym after a hiatus of over 300 days due to COVID-19 and covering shifts at work. The new management had changed rules about lockers and keeping personal items secured by a lock. The lock was gone as were my gym clothes and shower kit.

There was no courtesy from the "new" management to send out a group email to ask us to claim our items before they were trashed. Members provide email addresses for communication apart from management using them when a payment is late. I was totally flabbergasted and angry. I couldn't approach management because I knew I would have gotten nowhere. But why was I not contacted and notified to pick up my items?

I’ve been coming here for a few weeks now, on and off, and honestly the staff have always been very nice and helpful. The gym is always clean and so are the bathrooms. I’m one of those people who shower at the gym, so it’s nice to not have to fear hair-clogged drains or pee on the toilet seat. Today, something weird happened with my bill and I was lucky to have Hever there visiting from the Lake Elsinore gym. He quickly got me sorted out and had even more information to give. Really a very good gym.

I am so excited after all this Covid stuff, Planet Fitness finally went back to being a 24 hour fitness gym! That's why i became a member. Love this gym! I moved here a year ago and have been looking for a nice gym close to my house. After trying a couple (who will not be mentioned) I found Planet Fitness. Staff is friendly, machines are new and always kept cleann. There are enough cardio machines and workout stations so that the gym doesn’t feel cramped or crowded. I thought I would miss taking classes, but I haven’t needed them with the Planet Fitness app workouts.
