My friend was accused of sexual harassment by one of the employees one morning. The guy at the front desk with the nose piercing said that my friend made her feel uncomfortable when he accidentally bumped into her. Pretty much accused him of touching he inappropriately on purpose. My friend would never do something like that. Yeah that employee with the purple hair has got to go. We both cancelled our memberships and we are going to have to do something else to take care of this matter so stuff like this doesn't happen to people that are just trying to work out.

Update***dropping to 1 star because I am blown away by the terrible treatment I just received from their staff. After years of membership, had an issue, the guy who answered was clueless, and rude, refused to let me talk to the manager or take a message. Essentially made it clear he & his manager would rather cancel my membership than make any effort to deal with my concern.
Also I previously wrote that the gym is small, I will end my update on a positive note, there is plenty of equipment and space, I am really bummed that I am probably going to have to find a new workout situation:(

Sorry guys, the tanning beds seem to always have bulbs burnt out. Mention to the front desk staff, every time response is: " we just changed the bulbs". Go in a couple of days later, the bulbs still burnt out. I basically have my own gym at home so maybe I might use the equipment. But I'm there for the tanning.i would rather pay an additional $35 mo at a tanning salon. Thinking about cancelling black card membership . Going back to spa.

Planet Fitness, hope they don't up their pricing. I was homeless at one time in my car. $10/mo you can shower & work out on the daily. Then if you feel like you're going on a self-love journey, $25/mo & you get tanning, bed & standing, massage chairs & water-pressurized massage beds. They are amazing! When you walk into a gym with a backpack first spot to go is to bathroom where there are full size lockers so it's not like there's any judgement maybe you just need a shower? But you do have to provide you're own lock(combo, who wants to work out with keys in there pocket,bra, or hip) Sometimes they will have em in stock but it's typically 3x the price.
Oh & for the people whom maybe have super low self-esteem(like me!) 🙃 the showers are all separated & they have a shower curtain (as well as having a handi-cappable shower, or if you feel you want more space in your shower) some planet fitnesses in Cali I know actually have a soap dispensary in the showers! I used to buy the children's 3-in-1 (shampoo,conditioner &body wash to make it easier when showering at a on location spot). Also if I remember correctly their shower curtains almost hit the floor; so you can't even see the feet of the person; based on memory.

I have an acquaintance whom is on an ankle monitor(not house arrest). I suggested to him to maybe start working out, & when he his ol lady kicks him out at times, etc. He instantly looked at me & told me, "I can't. Could you imagine?!" So as I was saying with people who maybe want others not to see their body,legs,etc. while you shower, no need to worry. It's all private. Oh don't forget your slippahs they don't sell them up front.

My husband got me a membership for a gift. I used it for a while, but found another place I like better. He canceled my membership OVER a year ago. He is still getting charged. Amazing selection of equipment for the price for sure. would be rad to have bench press (flat, incline, decline and for shoulder press) but the smith machines they have work (just be awesome to have a free bar for stabilizer muscles) and a full length mirror in the stretching/ other area would be awesome for critiquing form during yoga. Have had a Black Card membership here for years and love it.Always clean and polite staff. I'd give 5 stars, but no more 24-Hrs 😞 Is this something that is going to come back? Prior to the pandemic this location was 24-Hrs during the week. Most other locations are back to 24-Hrs, is this something you guys plan on returning to? I'm a graveyard shift worker and got my membership so I could go workout right after work, but haven't been able to do that anymore. Any info on this would be appreciated!

Passing through as a Blackcard member this is my first experience at this particular location. The employees working on 2/26/23 in the evening were extremely friendly, polite, and quite helpful. I enjoyed using the black card spa amenities.

I just simply would suggest a dimmer light in the
area where the massage chairs are, the lights are just too bright That would be the only suggestion

Great place for the cost. I have the $10 a month membership. Staff has been super kind, and very knowledgeable, in answering any of my goober questions. I wish it had racquet ball courts but totally understand why (it's in a mall - space is not able to be changed). Good music plays, and at a moderate level. You could easily wear headphones and not hear it. Classes are offered on weekdays, you can sign up through the app. The upgraded membership ($29.99 months as of Oct 2022) gives you access to tanning, hydro massage and the ability to have 1 friend with you (only when you're on the premises). Locker rooms are adequate: showers, lockers, bathrooms, mirros, and changing rooms. Privacy guaranteed for those who would like to keep their body sacred. Plenty of parking.

Love this place. It’s a great environment for beginners and athletes alike. I’ve been waking up looking forward to my workout because of this. This gym emphasizes being beginner friendly, so there’s not a lot of specialized workout equipment (dumbbells, heavy ropes, weightlifting stuff in general) but there’s an abundance of great machines—I personally love the arm/back workout section in the front. The employees are all smiling and super helpful. I was very put off of the gym cultures of Healthsport and The Club, but Planet Fitness is the place to go for a truly judgement-free experience. The attendees are diverse; I’ve seen people in their 70s/80s working out—so if you’re afraid you won’t fit in at a gym, try this place out before you write off the gym completely.

I was skeptical about joining for some reason. Maybe it seemed like too good of a deal. But we joined, and I have been loving every minute that I spend there. Even if you follow all their procedures for cancelling your membership by mailing a letter, they will still fraudulently charge your account over and over and say they don't have the letter.
