What a total rude DIVE!!!! I work out at Planet Fitness all over California & Nebraska with, no issues, no problems. Always have a pleasant experience. Came into Foothill Ranch location today, a home-based of 6+ years & was told I could not wear my open toed Skecher tennis shoes!!!! I told them its not a problem at any other Planet Fitness, they told me I had to change to close toe. I can't do that because I get painful blisters....guess I have to rethink my membership, I don't own a pair of closed toe, stupid, unneeded policy.....

I would not recommend this place to women or young girls. There are some scary and intimidating characters that go here. I've told the front desk staff about an incident and they let him walk out without so much as a conversation... Do not come here if you're a woman... I was not going to go into details but seems Tallin or Tallen is refusing to refund my yearly fee (even though I did not ask for this incident to happen and did not want to cancel and their main customer support team says they stand by their customers) I will go ahead and relay what happened. Over the course of a month I’ve watched shady characters come in with wife beaters, sunglasses inside the gym and backpacks. All against their “non intimidation” policy. Yet nobody asked them to change or leave. One stood over me about a foot away watching while I did a machine, I assumed he was just waiting for me to finish, but who knows. Very uncomfortable for any woman. The other day another creeping character in a similar white wife beater tank top was in the back room running to a pull up bar and jumping on it over and over again while I along with other members worked out on the other side of it. Then he would pace angrily back and forth while punching the air like he was getting ready for a boxing match. He was scary angry. This went on for a while. I wasn’t the only one a bit concerned. After I mentioned it to the front staff on my way out, they assured me they’d watch the cameras and talk to him. Five minutes later he walked out of the gym without anyone talking to him. I get it, it’s just a job. They don’t care nor do they want to intervene. I was also told don’t worry, we’ll refund and cancel your membership. So instead of saying, we will cancel the shady men’s memberships, they would rather I leave along with any other women that don’t like that behavior. Got it! Better off paying a little more and going to a reputable gym ladies! Oh and the women’s locker is disgusting. No toilet paper at times, water everywhere and no soap. Hair everywhere, etc…

Beware of their auto billing - I have been a Black Card member since 2020. The club used to be clean and supportive front desk personnel. Now the staff members are too busy chitchating with each other. Some of the equipments are greasy and the lockroomst/bathrooms are constantly out of hand soap. Recently, there was a reset with their cc auto bill processing where I simply reinstated the sane cc for my auto payment. The club charged me a $20 late fee due to their system error. My wife has been fighting this for 4 weeks and nothing but the run-around. Seems like the club is getting desperate and doing what it can to upcharge their members. My friend went thru the sane exact thing but didn't waste 4 weeks fighting it. Again - no one competent to assist nor are they willing to. This Planet Fitness appears it may be on a downward spiral.

I first started my Planet Fitness journey last April. The exercise equipment is the best for my needs. Sometimes some machines break down but they don't stay down for long. I think sometimes the TV’s don’t work, but since I don’t watch TV, I don’t really notice. I usually come in the mornings when it’s not too busy to avoid crowds. For a gym, it has everything I need; friendly neighbors, upbeat staff, showers and a space to move my body!! The music is good for the most part, but sometimes I’ll use Rockbot to request my own workout music for the day.

The only downside I find is, the upkeep with cleanliness. I come to the gym every morning, and noticed that in the women’s bathroom, there are moments where I’ll see the same clump of hair 5 or 6 days in a row, even after the bathroom has been “cleaned”. Or in the shower, again, clumps of women’s hair. Even in the sinks; clumps of hair. One time, the sink was clogged and it wasn’t cleaned out for I think 3 days.

I’m not sure why the bathrooms aren’t thoroughly cleaned each night, because when I come in in the morning, I smell cleaning solution. Why are you not cleaning up the hair and other messes like everything else?

I did want to recognize the Planet Fitness staff as they are like a second family. When we see each other (Andrew, Travis, Bri, and the crew), we always greet one another with kindness, respect, love and sometimes even some laughter!!

I know that each Planet Fitness is independently owned, so I wanted to recognize the staff that runs this one. Thank you all for being who you are!

The staff at this gym are extremely rude. Do not come to this location. The management should hire qualified people. They advertise “FAIRNESS” and “RESPECT,” but their actions are completely contradictory. The staff ABUSE their power — I am quoting the exact words from one of them: “GET OUT OF THE GYM, YOU HAVE NO POWER HERE！”

Secondly, they don’t even have BASIC FREE WEIGHT EQUIPMENTS. There are much better gym options available in this city.

After reviewing other comments, I noticed that many people have given 1-STAR REVIEWS. It seems that the staff have little regard for whether concerns are raised with MANAGEMENT. This appears to reflect a broader CULTURAL ISSUE — a lack of RESPECT that seems to permeate from the top down.

No one wants to be treated poorly after a WORKOUT, when BRINGING A FRIEND, or during a WEEKEND visit. We go to the gym to improve our HEALTH, not to face HARASSMENT and have our WELL-BEING compromised!

I have been working out a few different planet fitness gyms this year to work with my schedule. This is by far the most memorable one. And I don't mean this in a good way. The mens showers were bad. Enough to make me throw up. And I was an EMT in a past life, so that should say something. CLEAN YOUR FREAKING SHOWERS!

Good gym and all, but the music is always very loud, and everyone has headphones so no need to have it that loud. Trying to listen to my own music feels impossible with the volumen or genres of music they put.

I do not want to speak to the club manager that’s why people do reviews so the owner or person responsible can take care of this, it’s not my responsibility to tell your employees or remind them of things.

I was asked to keep my 11-year-old son out of the building, despite initially being told by the lady that it was fine to have him at the front seats. The manager later changed this instruction, leaving me with the difficult and unsafe option of keeping my son alone outside in the plaza at 9 PM. This situation is particularly concerning because it's not safe for kids to be alone at that time. I believe this situation may have been taken personally by the staff involved.

Foothill is a great gym. The people utilizing the gym are typically great along with the staff which also do a great job. I was with LA Fitness for 30 yrs & I like it alot better. Most people are there to workout, rather than hang out. Less crowded & the layout is much better!!!

Horrible experience at this location. I have a year contract with them, that ended today.

I’ve been trying to cancel my membership 4 times for the past 3 months because I wanted to make sure that they weren’t just going to keep charging my bank.

So far, no one at this facility have been able to help, not even the manager. Today my contract ended and they automatically charged a $50 yearly fee to the account.

I am still unable to cancel my membership!

Small gym, Clean facility, and fun to go to. Been coming here since Nov.2023 and ive been making gains. Can be crowded so a second rack of dumbbells would be nice. Also, just a heads up: the glare from the windows in the morning are blinding.

I love this gym!! Always clean. Although, if members would follow gym etiquette a little more and wipe the equipment down after sweaty use, that would be great. I am deeply disappointed with the reception service, I was charged twice on my credit card, I asked for a refund and they didn't give a damn about me? So I went back to the gym several times to ask them to resolve it, they didn't, so very sad about the lack of customer care, I went back to reception and asked them to cancel my contract, they did so and after 5 days another one was charged. payment of 25 dollars, I went back hoping that this time they would listen to me, they said there was nothing in the system. I showed my bank statements and asked them to make a refund, they looked at me with contempt and without any communication, this complaint is not about the 50 dollars that I was injured but because of the lack of customer care that this gym does not have.

I'm always greeted nicely by the staff, whom are very nice and courteous. This PF is set up perfectly and organized. Bathroom/locker room are very clean. I use tanning and the room is always clean. By far, Foothill Ranch is my favorite PF to go to! Definitely recommend this one!
