I pay for the service to be able to bring a friend. I bring my wife maybe once or twice a month at the most. She brings her drivers license and they keep hassling her about coming in. It’s just pissing me off I’m paying for a service they won’t honor it makes no sense and it’s lazy people that don’t want to deal with it at the counter as they stand there watching people scan ..they do want to do anything more than that so unprofessional..

Wanted to update my review today, stated before this is one of the nicer gyms in the area. Trust me I go to many other planet fitness. Machines are always well-maintained. This place keeps a level of cleanliness that I personally believe most planet fitness should live up to. The team here truly cares about their job as well as the location they work at.

I wanted to give a special thank you, I never got your name, because you were not wearing a name tag. You sure one of the hardest working people I’ve seen there today (blonde haired guy with a cool mustache) notice you cleanup the locker rooms, give a tour to potential new clients, explain and give a demonstration of how machines work, took out the trash and filled up the sanitation bottles, and at the end I even saw you handling business on the phone. Oh my God, man with all the respect you are one of the hardest working people I’ve seen. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💪🏾 planet fitness you heard a very good person. Keep working hard, young man.

And if you don’t think that’s impressive I was only there an hour. This guy moves fast.

Do not sign up at this gym they are scandalous. Ive been going here for 4 years and they pulled a scam. My card on file was compromised so the monthly fee didnt process. They found a card i had used it the past to purchase drinks and charged that card without authorization along with a late fee. Not only that, they charged me on the day they notified me via text that they had a problem with my card. They didnt even give me a few hours to respond!! Jose Meraz was the manager who spoke with me, extremely rude and a very unreasonable person. They much rather hold on to a $20 late fee then retain a customer. Im glad i cancelled, half the equipment in this gym never worked anyway and the restrooms were always dirty and smelled like drainage. Oh btw i was a premium black card holder, so they dont just dont care.

Gym is a nice area. Has it's busy times like most. But if you're a morning person then the weight area is perfect. Has everything you need to get a solid work out. And hardly has any issues with maintenance. I'd recommend anyone to give it a chance

This gym is always very clean. The crew are all very friendly! Always smiling and greeting you as soon as you walk in the door. I repeat.. it is always clean! From the bathrooms to the lockers to the workout stations always very clean. The cleaning stations are always fully supplied so you can wipe down machines when you are done using them. I love this gym! Jose I believe is the manager for this location. He’s always there. He’s very friendly and professional. Great gym to attend!

This PF Granada Hills location is pretty good. Very easy access off freeway and large parking lot area, well lit. Did early morning workout on weekday.

Facility and locker room was clean…but I feel like they could use more product cleaning stations in the back of the club.

Crowd was light. Most equipment was working ok but I tried 3 treads near the Express Training area, all had issues…one was out of order with a sign, one seemed to be cutting out after it started or not wanting to start and one tread the display was not working at all. I let the front desk staff know.

Also at least 3 weight stack gyms were out of order including one of the cable crossover weight stack gyms. But definitely enough equipment options for a full workout.

It's personal my gym. I have my own schedule when it comes with it and I enjoy going to the gym. The people there are great. It's usually mild to moderate full like half to a quarter which isn't too bad. The cleaning stations are always full. The air quality is pretty good, good circulation, cold, and clean. The overall vibe is pretty good. Yeah, I like this gym. My favorite go-to place. :]

Nice gym, easy to park and it's always clean. However, most of the ellipticals are broken and the staff doesn't seem to notice that the same select few are always in use. They have like 20 ellipticals and only 5 or 6 actually hold their resistance. The remaining ones lose resistance mid workout - which is dangerous. My wife has told the staff and still nothing has been done...

There are good PFs and there's bad ones. This is a bad one don't even try to take a shower here. They're not even trying to support shower operations not clean 2 out of 4 were out of order and the one I had the water couldn't get hot and was missing a shower head so the water was just shooting out. Notified the staff They were absolutely useless said it was out of their hands.

I called today because I had weird billing issues with planet fitness and thought it was from this location I had tried to sign up for a long time ago. Instead, the employee on the phone was able to dig and find really helpful information from another franchise location I had years prior. With the help of this employee on the phone, I was able to figure out everything quickly w the correct location and had the best service experience!! This is a great location! I usually go to Chatsworth and love it, but this will definitely go on my list as a close second! Clean, new machines, individual TV screens on each cardio machine, lots of cleaning stations, and friendly people. Good gym for the price, but docking a couple of stars due to the lack of control over the 30-minute full-body area. For those who don't know, there's a red light, green light system that tells gym goers to move from station to station in that area as if it were a workout class. I really love the idea of this, but every time I attempt to do a workout there, nobody seems to be following the system, and there's always a group of guys hogging the upper body machines and refuse to rotate with the rest of the class. As a result, the whole area is kind of pointless since it seems like it's never being monitored. Kind of a bummer since the 30-minute area was a huge part of the reason I chose to go with Planet Fitness over other gyms.

I love coming to this location as it's along my commute (and close to the 118 freeway). The employees have always greeted me kindly, and they keep this location very clean. There's a great variety of equipment and usually plenty of machines available. The only thing I sometimes have trouble accessing are the free weights when it's busy. This location is well worth my membership!
