While using a massage chair, I observed a patron sitting nearby with a cat in a backpack. Due to severe animal sensitivities and allergies, I immediately reported this to the front desk, expressing my concern about allergies in the facility.

I then returned to the locker room to retrieve my belongings. Before leaving the facility, I asked the front desk staff if the patron was still present, as I wished to return and finish my massage. The staff member informed me that the patron was "packing up and leaving."

Trusting this information, I return to the waiting area in front of the front desk. After waiting for approximately five minutes, I again to confirm that the patron had left. At this point, I was told that the animal was a service animal and the patron was finishing their session, and therefore nothing could be done.

I don’t appreciate being lied to by the staff when they could’ve been upfront from the start.

I was a member of Planet Fitness in the past and recently decided to restart my membership—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by Eugene, whose professionalism and helpful attitude made me feel instantly welcomed. I wish I could say I enjoyed this gym. I used to until this perverted older gentleman named Gilbert makes it too uncomfortable for me to work out there anymore. It started with him being nice at first, but as soon as you say hello to him, he thinks it’s OK to come up and hug you all the time and stare at you angrily while you work out if you don’t pay attention to him. I always see him trying to talk to this mom and teenage daughter and it makes me so uncomfortable and I really hope that they can do something about this So guest such as myself and others can feel comfortable again. I know I’m not the only one Who has had this complaint.

The facility is ok but lately there’s an older man who’s been creeping me and my daughter out. He started talking to me a couple of months ago and right away he went in for hugs. I tried to avoid the hugs but he would just go in. Then like 3 weeks ago he started telling me about his sex life. I was like bye! So from then I tried ignoring him but he tried going up to my daughter while she was stretching and tried to hug her twice and she told him no. Now he just stands around staring at us it’s so uncomfortable. I’ve told the staff and he actually done the same to one of the staff girls but yet he’s still there. Makes me want to switch gyms.

Hey, I always read the worst reviews before I sign up for something so I read them about planet fitness in Hemet. My membership is free through my insurance company so I went ahead and signed up. It’s the closest I’ve been to many gyms even overseas my first impression staff was nice and the place was very clean with lots of cardio equipment. I looked for the bad things like rude staff and homeless around, but I didn’t see it I did notice that I saw the most out of shaped people in one spot in my entire life And I had a very positive impression that these people were trying to better themselves and that’s awesome! I did see a lot of young people in groups wandering around, but they didn’t seem like they’re bothering anybody They only had one leg press machine is the only thing really negative. I can see about the facility. I was surprised they didn’t have it like a protein shake space or something like that Parking was a little difficult, but oh well can’t have everything so it is a nice place is well worth going to🤗

Jose the manager beyond unprofessional. Instead of being a proactive manager he is a reactive manager, that much rather blame the consumer over them constantly over charging my account every month and say “it’s your fault”. It seems they are pocketing money at this point. I’ve paid $100 from May-June, when my membership is only $25 monthly. Please explain. They like to say late fees but I have mine on auto pay and my funds are NEVER low for it to not go thru. This seems VERY SUSPICIOUS OF JOSE MANAGER. I love going to the this gym but unfortunately I felted harassment by a team member Miranda Perez never had in issues I have been going to the gym since 2019 other staff members are very approachable and greet you as you are coming in feeling very welcoming but on Saturday Miranda’s customer interaction was very rude and unprofessional demanding for my black card guest to register which we didn’t have in issue with just the way she distributed the message with her tone of voice was not professional I felted harassed by her when it should have not happened them I mention I would like to speak to her manager she calls states her story stating I have lost it not allowing me to speak to the manager I know what she was trying to do by doing this for us to get upset and start yelling no we won’t make a fool of ourselves thank you it’s very concerning for customers that have to deal with this kind of behavior!!!! we are humans deserve respect not being belittled by a team member!!! Customers service training is needed for her!!!

Very bad experience with staff member Miranda Perez. Went to the gym to destress just to have her there and add to it. I’ve been going to the hemet planet fitness since 2020, never had a problem with any other staff member besides her. While entering and scanning in she stopped me to ask me for my updated debit card information. My account balance is $0.00 since my bank account is linked and they take my monthly payment directly from my account. I informed her that I don’t have my debit card with me but my account is paid and I’ll update it later, as in later in the day. She wouldn’t let me continue unless I give her an exact time. Then she stopped my parents, my mom has the black card where she can bring a guest, that guest is always my dad. She also wouldn’t let them enter. We asked to speak to a manager but she said he wasn’t available until Monday and continued with her attitude. She ended up calling her manager to tell him her side of the story and was speaking very poorly of us to victimize herself, she specifically told him that we “lost it” when it was her that lost it. We asked if we could speak to him also and she said no, she stated that she notated somewhere in our account about the incident, when I asked if I could have his number or if she can notate to give me a call, she wouldn’t. When I asked for the planet fitness number she told me I can google it and wouldn’t give it to me. In the end, she was very unprofessional, disrespectful and has very bad customer service skills. I see she always gives customers a difficult time and nothing has been done about it since a previous complaint was posted 2 months ago for her as well.

Its frustating that these gyms expect you to pay extra fees but yet if people express concerns. Its oh well not going to do anything. They have no trouble in helping you pay or sign up but if you express frustrations with the exquipment they turn a blind eye. They need better elpiticals precore is a better brand. So only come for elpiticals going to cancle before the anueal fee comes in. Busniess have no trouble signing you up and taking money out of you but they never take costumer complates or anything. The only good thing is I love the color of the gym its clean but the eliptcals are horrible they lack the fun movement to make it fun. They do not take my Medicare health care/Astiva Health plan as they do not except credit/Debt cards per my plan (otherwise Astiva would pay for it) and only take direct bank checking withdraw... Every interaction with her feels like you’re inconveniencing her just by existing. She’s dismissive, unprofessional, and has no sense of basic customer service etiquette. I joined this location around October of last year. I entered my bank account info for the recurring payment and it was sent back saying there was an error. I assumed I entered the numbers wrong so I tried again being very careful to enter the numbers correctly. It still would not go through.

I went in to speak with someone and I was told by an employee that sometimes their system just doesn't work well with credit unions. So I could just pay with my debit card every month. But of course I have to do it after the payment fails to go through with my bank every month. Usually the app sends me notice right away but this time I didn't get the notification until after I was charged a late fee.

I called the gym and was told they don't have issues with my bank and I just must not be entering the numbers right. I told them I've reentered the numbers several times. They said I could go down to my bank and bring them verification of my account and I could get a free month. I'm sorry but if I have to go through that many hoops simply to pay for my membership it's just not worth it .

I asked to be reimbursed for my late fee and then to cancel my membership. They said since I was already charged I couldn't be reimbursed which makes no sense because that is literally the definition of a reimbursement. They also were going to make me come in person to just simply cancel my membership until I pushed and they "so nicely" let me cancel over the phone.

Your “30 minute express workout”area is useless. You can’t do a circuit when ppl are sitting on the equipment for 5-10 minutes playing with their phones between their 30 second reps.
You also get ppl coming in and jumping on whatever they want in front of someone trying to do a circuit. Another one came in and took over 2 machines for about 20 minutes. Said he needed them both… smh. Staff obviously doesn’t care bc no one does anything about it.
Please correct this. It is very frustrating for those of us wanting to do a circuit.

Pretty good gym. Probably the best gym in like a 20 mile radius to be honest. Tried other “local” gyms and PF is always cleaner, well maintained, and a good atmosphere. Employees actually care and management is great. Plus, the locker rooms don’t have more broken locker doors than actual locker doors that work. In fact. They have no broken locker doors. Lol.
Again, in stark contrast to other local gyms that are never cleaned, not maintained and a much less positive atmosphere— and.. tons of broken locker doors.
Parking is a bit hit or miss during the day. But that’s the only negative mark. But everything else about this PF makes up for it.

My friend and I had scheduled a workout session with trainer Eugene Johnson, expecting to spend a dedicated hour training with him. However, he only had us work out for 10-20 minutes on two machines before abruptly announcing that he was going to clock out and head home to his wife. To our surprise, we later spotted him chatting with other staff and customers, seemingly enjoying a workout of his own. When I addressed our concerns with the manager, Jose, he was remarkably disrespectful and showed no interest in resolving the situation for us he didn’t even offer an apology. If Eugene had communicated his intention to leave and work out instead, it would have been perfectly acceptable, but we had anticipated a full hour of training, which was what we had chosen. Additionally, it seems unreasonable that there is only one trainer available at this facility, as it would greatly benefit members to have more options and support during their workouts.

The only reason I give them any stars is because the people there are truly trying to do their job and while it may not be their fault they tried to help. The billing has been a complete rip off in my experience with planet fitness. I put my membership on hold because I was told I couldn't cancel it, and when the freeze was over, they hit my account for not only the monthly fee, but the annual fee and a late fee on both fees even though I sent proof that I put a freeze on the account they still racked up the charges. And conveniently charged that annual fee as soon as the freeze was lifted and of course now they will not refund it. I have filed something with my bank and I will get my money back within 90 days but please DO NOT sign up for any of this online. They hide behind "read the fine print" and in all those many things you click on, they get away with doing this.
Edit... if you are the owner of this company, then call me like I asked you to in the email that I did send with the information. You all have lied and covered up whst was done on your end. I canceled this account, you froze it. You send documents staying I froze it, then say I never paid for it. But it was frozen? Your own document states when you froze the account. And when that was sent to you in the email I did send you, you then state it was an annual fee that miraculously comes up and you charged double that fee? Frozen means its frozen it doesn't accumulate those late fees but for you that means you can just rapid fire hit my account several times a day and take out whatever you wanted. That is wrong. I did not sign anything ever... not in your store nor online that says you may take whatever you want, whenever you want from my account. No one I know would ever do this. You are a horrible company. I hope all the people who see this will think twice about opening an account with this planet fitness.

Cass the new assistant store manager is on a huge power trip targetting minorities abd black card paying members. Coming to the gym I expect to engage in a healthy activity instead, I am being harrassed and targeted for being a minority and enforced to take a picture when when I walk in or can't workout, the bathrooms are filthy, the club is in very bad state, they allow homeless people to sleep on the couches and hang out in the bathrooms, the 30 minute workout area is not enforced instead employees spend half of their shift talking to each other but the smallest thing becomes an issue, paying members are treated so poorly by untrained staff such as Cass, being a member for years, the other staff has always been polite and attentive but I wonder why this lady - Cass is the one that gets promoted to assistant manager despite her lack of customer service and lack of equity and inclusion at a club where most of the members are a minority, that is a poor move on managements behalf. I never received an apology upon talking to Cass which would have resolved the issue, instead she said she was doing her job, that what happens when you put the wrong people in positions they don't deserve, they act entitled. I will be escalating this as far as I can.

I joined the Planet Fitness gym in Hemet, Ca in January 2024. I opted to get the Black card membership. This gives you access to their Tanning beds, Total Body Enhancement Machines, Massage Chairs & Hydro Massage tables, you are also to bring a guest with you each time you visit the gym. You get all this for only $25 a month. That is a great deal.
One of the Employees Assistant Manager Cass has been amazing. Cass is always so friendly & helpful. She showed me how to do the Total Body Enhancement Machine and explained how things work at the gym. Cass is a outstanding Employee for Planet Fitness. I have got to know Cass very well. She really enjoys her job and treats all of the members with Compassion & respect.
Planet Fitness is lucky to have Cass at the front counter greeting the members and helping them with they arrive. Thank you Cass for making my day at the gym so much better

I like planet fitness, legitimately as they say there is a feeling of no judgment. You walk around some place like LA Fitness and you just get that kind of jock Spirit feeling in the room and I'm an athlete so I understand that to a degree, but it's not necessary either. Then you just see people taking pictures of themselves all over the place and recording video of themselves and it's just gross so I appreciate how Planet Fitness is just very calm and relaxed.

The hemet location is where I go. The showers are rarely clean and since I go before work I need to shower that's a big reason I chose them. I have told them several times. The staff are so friendly! The gym is clean and meets all of my needs. They have a great variety of equipment and it's all been recently updated!
My only complaint is that sometimes it's so busy that I have to adjust my workout, even when I don't want to. Lol. Not great for me, but really great for PF.

I've been going to this Planet Fitness for a while. They just got brand new treadmills and cardio equipment and it's all really great top-tier machines. The place is always well kept, the staff is courteous and even the gym goers are much better than you would typically find it like say an LA Fitness or something of that nature. I know that's a subjective statement, but I just noticed the people at Crunch and LA Fitness and those types of gyms seem to be less than courteous and lack gym etiquette.

My husband and I are only in Hemet for one month and we like to work out 3-4 times a week. We originally went to LA Fitness, signed up, and then went to work out only to find that no one respected each other and put weights and equipment wherever they wanted. So, we came to Planet Fitness, checked it out before signing up, and decided to try it. They have a variety of equipment that we needed, people put the equipment back in its place, and everyone, from teens on up were very respectful. We were there a week, and they closed down for less than 24 hours to upgrade some equipment. Boy were we pleasantly surprised to find not only new and more equipment but was organized differently for the better. There were free weights dispersed throughout the whole gym, not just in one area, so you were able to work out in an area that was not so busy. The staff are very friendly as well as the owner. I'm truly going to miss this place when we leave in a few days.

They have a summer program for teens ages 13-18. Signing them up was a fairly easy process. As they signed up, I looked around. The facility is small but clean. The place was bright. The machines seemed new. The atmosphere wasn't the typical 'do a few reps and admire your hard work in the mirror for 5 minutes'.

I also noticed a designated area where you can go for 30 minutes to do a full body workout. The staff member explained that it is a timed circuit. At each machine you're given a certain amount of time before the buzzer goes off. I thought that was an interesting concept for person like me- the one who isn't super gymliterate.

I came from from 24 hour fitness I have to say this location is by far cleaner and everyone been friendly and best of all the membership is cheaper . Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to switch

I've gym hopped all over town. La, crunch, powerhouse & PF. By FAR the best option in town, in my opinion. And can we talk about how CLEAN the bathrooms are?! Shout out to Michelle and Melissa for keeping that space grand opening clean all the time! Thank you ladies!

Needs more weights, bench presses, and benches. You can expand on this by eliminating the Ab machine corner because no ever uses that section. (Maybe even cut down on the number of ellipticals). You also need to have more than one machine for the butterfly and leg press

Your machines when they break take about a month to get fixed don't forget the water fountain for bottles has been broken since 2022.

Employees don't even check if people hold a membership therefore many people just walk through and start working out and these people that do that are simply just the kindest people at the gym by stealing equipment or cutting infront of you. Children and teens show up sometimes and all they do is goof off and play with everything instead of actually working out. (The high school program was an awful idea)

It's a basic gym for weight training but you can still get a good workout if you're versatile with performing different exercises using the equipment that's available. It gets a little crowded during the afternoon, the early morning staff is awesome overall it's a decent gym.

This is my PF of preference. Friendly staff, they are constantly cleaning the machines and the gym. But, I find that especially in the mornings when I go, the restrooms are filthy. Not stocked and always dirty or out of order, I try not to use them when I'm there. Keep the restrooms cleaner and I'll give it 5 🌟
