🚫NEVER COME HERE to expect a staff member to help put toilet paper and toilet seat in the mens bathroom stalls. Im a top member with planet fitness and came to NEEDING to use the bathroom ASAP! to come inside to check both mens bathroom stalls next to the sink are both super messy and gross and can easily tell it hasn't been touched in a long time or the whole staff shift because there is no toilet paper or backup toilet paper or even toilet seat covers on both stalls and I asked the tall kid staff working in the front desk saying what was needed and acknowledged me but never did anything the whole time and I noticed both staff doors are open and in a emergency I helped myself and stocked up the whole bathroom stall with toilet paper and toilet seat paper to handle my business!. If this was you in need to use the bathroom and cant hold it anymore and also have nothing to wipe yourself then would you get mad and make or seen or would you take care of the matter yourself???. Overall the mens whole locker room and bathroom and shower area and changing area is a super gross mess and wet everywhere with no wet signs where they need to be and stinks like if someone is sleeping in one of the changing stalls like a homeless smell or something horrible near the showers. Owners and manager need to take care of this major issue as soon as possible like TODAY!. poor staff management not taking care of customers and treating it like a game and not taking the job seriously!. Never coming here ever again and everyone else should do the same or speak up what needs to be taken care of at this location or use the review to speak up and use photos and videos as proof whats going on here. There is other people out here hungry for work that would do the job like I did and I dont work here but I stock up one stall in the mens restroom area for everyone. Retrain staff and put paper sign time sheets in different locations of the building areas for hourly checks for restrooms and whole building clean up and stock up on everything for all members to use when coming here. Needs to be organization and staff not hanging around all the time at the front desk area or the back. Take care of this issue boss owner.

I am retired and am traveling around the country I am in Los Angeles right now and stopped by this location and after my work out I went to the counter asked an employee by the name of (Kizzy) if the massage chairs were available and she literally snapped at me. This is the first location I have ever been to where the employee was so rude and unprofessional. I have never encountered this at any of the locations I have been to. My suggestion is the Kizzy need some substantial customer service training and if that doesn't help her attitude she needs to seek other employment!🤔

I will be sending a certified letter of complaint tomorrow to the corporate office regarding this employees horrible behavior. If I could I would give this location a zero!

Running out of paper towels is disgusting and ridiculous. It is a shame that I pay for the black card membership and keeping something as simple as paper towels is very embarrassing. As an RN who graduated from Hopkins I am definitely reporting this to corporate and health department. This happens way too often. Gyms are supposed to promote cleanliness. The fact there are so many communicable diseases due to the lack of cleanliness is alarming that you all don’t have the basic needs to make sure to uphold/promote disinfecting equipment.

I always appreciate the gym itself. The staff is nice and the people there are respectful. I go around 5am so its never full. I HAVE to shower there because i go directly to work after and my only complaint is the moldy dirty restrooms. This is my only complaint. I cant stand when i accidentally touch the wall or the curtains while i shower its the grossest thing ever and i overlook it but man do i wish theyd spray some bleach on the mould and replace the curtains every 6 months as recommended.

The assistant manager was completely incompetent. I stated I wanted to use my name and phone number to check in because sometime I dont have my phone on me. This location has very unprofessional staff, when you come into this location and workout in the back area the paper for cleaning the equipment is out on a regular basis, when you walk up to the front to tell them they have a dirty look as if your bothering them, they are always on their's phones and laughing and have a good time up at the desk, but never enough time to do like a twice an hour walk through to check on the paper and spray bottles, even the front doors look like they never wipe at all the finger prints off the glass. What does this say about the Management? They do not care, I know two friends that have left this location for another gym 2 months ago. Management should do a better job on checking your own business before you get put out of business.

For the amount of money you pay you can’t beat it anywhere else. The fact that they’re open 24 hours a day makes it really convenient to get a workout before going in to work. Most gyms open at 7am and some are closed at 8pm on some days of the week so the 24 hours gives a lot of people flexibility with their work schedules.

I’ve been a loyal member with planet fitness for many years. I feel like this is my place of donation contributions as I don’t get to go very often. My monthly payments are automatically deducted from my account. I have the black card membership at a specific location. I came here today while on the clock at work needing to use the restroom quickly. I do not have a physical card on my keychain as it’s broken off multiple times and I’ve replaced it 3-4 times over the year’s. These cards are poorly designed. I spent unnecessary time dealing with the staff on duty at roughly 4:00pm. My phone number doesn’t seem to work at this location. I had to call my assigned location to confirm my membership as active in order to have access to the most expensive restroom break I’ve ever taken. The woman on duty at this time was being rude and suggesting I use the restroom elsewhere as they could not pull up my account in their system. I refused to be denied access to something I’ve been paying for monthly and there seems to be a system error on planet fitness’s end. This was annoying as I’ve been paying consistently for my membership only to be denied access to a restroom let alone expected to engage in unprofessional negative inconsiderate behavior and energy from the staff on duty. This woman lacked the ability to be sympathetic towards my need to use the restroom. I ignored her attitude completely and refused to stoop to her level I do not exchange energy with people that are non factors in my life. With this being said I will be canceling this monthly donation because it’s not worth my time, energy, or $$$ anymore. To the higher ups at this location please advise the staff to be more professional as this may help in the long run towards clients and for better business. Thank you kindly.

It was my first time at this location and I was really disappointed. As soon as you walk in, it stinks. Yea I know, sweat right? But it doesn’t smell like sweat. It’s just smells unclean. I chose this location because there was two bars on the crowd meter but when I arrived it was definitely more like a 4 bar crowd. Who is in charge of this? In terms of machines, they have plenty of machines so they get the two stars for that. The worst part of this whole experience is that the black card spa is out of order, the staff let me walk right in without telling me and when I came out to ask how I can use the spa, the “temporarily out of order” was news to the staff because they didn’t know. While I was in there, the smell of humidity hit me so hard that it was so unpleasant to stay there and I quickly left out of this location. Planet Fitness, do better. It’s the new year when people are actually going to the gym, there’s no point in having a black card if the amenities are not even in order. And don’t ask me to email you because I’ve told you in this review what is wrong with your location. When you fix the problems, let me know.

This Planet Fitness location is not worth visiting. There are hardly any attachments for the cable systems—undoubtedly the fewest I’ve seen at any gym. The machine placement is odd and poorly aligned with the limited number of mirrors provided. They actually use the “lunk alarm” here and will call you out if you make any noise with the weights. The employees are strict and will interrupt you frequently. Paper towel dispensers are often empty, adding to the frustration. On top of that, the cancellation fees and price increases are unreasonable, not to mention the ridiculous annual fee. Save yourself the trouble and just work out at home with some dumbbells.

Also beware of the manager. She is quite rude and needs extreme training or to seek employment elsewhere where she does not interact with other people.

I Love the Inglewood Planet Fitness at Imperial & Crenshaw.

Kizzie Stokes and crew are always very nice and welcoming uoon arriving and as they tend to the facility during my workouts. I've attended many gms in my lifetime, and currently a proud member at this location. You can't beat the price, it is always clean, and staff is friendly and attentive to all of my needs.

The gym area is always tidy, and the black card membership perks are excellent. I use the massage chairs and occasionally the tanning booths and have never had any issues with anything. I travel a lot and find myself using other Planet Fitnesses across the country with out any problems. Getting my workouts in from coast to coast without any extra fees is a plus. The black tier is also a plus because I get to bring an extra person at any time with me, which saves them the trouble of commitment. I have been able to introduce friends and relatives and hope to help and inspire them with their journey.

They just upgraded their equipment this December and can now accomodate more people and they still have room for additional machines. Excited to see what else they will add and can't wait for future upgrades.

I wish they had a pool and a sauna, but those are extras that are also very limited at other gyms owned by other companies in the city.

Anticipate the wave of new members in the new year but that does not bother me as tjst is the cycle of a gym. I enjoy seeing new pople working on themselves to live a healthier and happier life. Im in it for life and can adjust my schedule so it works for everyone.

A happy member, fortunate to wakeup and be able to workout on myself every day of the week at any location I choose, at any time, open 24hrs a day.

Someone cut the part of the locker where the lock is placed. I let the staff that was there know. One of them kept on accusing me of leaving my bag overnight. Which wasn't true. I tried to explain, but he kept at it. He was rude and unprofessional. So be careful leaving your belongings in the locker. It isn't safe, and the staff doesn't care.

The new setup sucks they removed the ellipticals and took out a lot of other machines for no reason. It was a big downgrade. I will be looking to go to other locations because of this. The equipment was still broken even after the rearrangement fly machine. It feels more cluttered now.

Homeless people living in the lockerroom, homeless people sleeping on the massage beds, and won't wake up so others can use them.

I heard an employee saying why clean, that he's not getting paid enough to clean, and told the other worker not to work so hard cause they are not getting paid enough to keep the facility clean. Could not believe what i was hearing.

I've seen multiple fights at this location and have seen fights over people looking in the men's showers.

Water fountain water filter is never changed or checked, tastes bad and told them for months and no change.

I would recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I visited from out of town and the location was clean and well equipped. I was working arms and was looking for handles to do biceps curls with, along with a rope for triceps. I was told they were available at the front desk. I went to the desk and asked for 2 handles and a triceps rope. I was told that I could only check out one item at a time, and furthermore had to leave something "of value as collateral." I asked what that was and was told car keys or a cell phone! They then opened a drawer full of these with no names or ID on them whatsoever. I'm not risking my $1000+ cell phone or risking my car being stolen just to work out.

I have been a planet member fitness before I don't like the fact that they tell you you're not in a contract or anything like that but yet if you miss a month of Jim they still charge you for that gym payment even though you didn't show up for their gym and you're supposed to be on the month to month payment plan also I don't like the fact that they take you to the extent to cancel your membership like you need doctor's note or something like that to cancel your membership that is just unorthodox like if I'm having a medical issue it doesn't mean I want to share it with the world The atmosphere on the inside the gym is pretty calm they got signs up saying no puffing I guess I've never really seen that in any gym but hey whatever so with that that's why I rated a one because it's hard to get out of their membership and they're still charge you even if you're on the month-to-month plan
