I caught 2 of the employees drinking alchool in the gym. On top of that there was a couple having sex in the locker rooms. None of the staff seemed to care to do something about it. Visiting family here and went to this gym. The gym was very clean. Plenty of barbells, strength equipment, and treadmills. Even saw some equipment my Planet Fitness back in North Carolina doesn’t have in it. Enjoyed our workout here.

I give 4 stars but the true are maybe 3 in the beginning the gym was clean but with the time all this has changed the problem is that the same people from the front desk are the cleaning and they don't worry about the cleaning. Shower have mold but they thing because the colors you never notice and all the signs around the gym and they never check if the customers follow the rules even in restrooms stupid people taking pictures and sometimes other customers are almost naked to take a shower and those guys taking pictures everywhere in the restrooms.

First time in this gym as I’m a tourist. The staff, in particular Frank was very helpful and welcoming. Always a bit uncomfortable going into a meeting gym but he made me feel at ease and helped with the joining process. Props to him and great gym and atmosphere

04/09/2025 approximately 1745 to 1800. I was already in the gym when my wife tried to check in. She was told that she could not because her account was "extremely over due" talking about "you can work out when you pay your bill!"

No for the issue, her account shows NO BILL DUE TILL THE 17TH OF APRIL 2025! She was billed a yearly membership PLUS a LATE FEE! NO Warning, no email, no alert in the app NOT EVEN A FIRST TIME PAYMENT ATTEMPT JUST PAYMENT AND LATE FEE. AND A CRAPPY ATTITUDE FROM SOME "CUSTOMER SERVICE REP" WITH BLACK FINGERNAIL POLISH, BLACK HAIR, AND TATTOOS THAT HAS NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS.

SO the next time I walk in there I am canceling my membership and my wife will be doing the same. Not just 1 account but 2. Then I'm going to be posting it on various social media platforms personal and business, then creating stickers, flags etc with my "true feelings" because negative reviews mouth to mouth are the fastest right? There is the first lesson in Customer service "little boy!" Some people have been in the Customer service game alot loger and it shows.
Lost not only my wife's business, my business but I know about 6 people from just that gym alone canceling as well due to this.

The gym is fine but when I decided to relocate to another state I went inside to cancel & paid any membership fees that would come due. A month later they took an extra $65 from my bank account.

When I went in to talk to club mgr Jennifer Hernandez about it she told me to dispute it with my bank which I did but Planet Fitness told them it was a valid charge so my bank stuck me with the bill. I will follow up with the Better Business Bureau next because I want my money back.

My first time here, I loved the machines and the good atmosphere. The only downside was that there were four people at the entrance; there were about six of us in line. I was second and wanted to pay for a protein shake. I asked if he could help me with the second person. I wasn't rude or arrogant at all. He seemed annoyed and didn't respond. "Thank you," he ignored you. Seriously, if you don't like your job, don't do it! I don't have to put up with their faces or the workers' bad manners. I pay a membership fee for Black people. They don't give me anything!

I used to go here sometimes with my sister and it was ok. The last time I was there however, my sister and I walked into the women's locker room and there was a male staff member in there while there were girls showering. Staff is nice & welcoming, they will answer any questions or show you how machines work if you're not sure. It's usually clean & staff puts workout equipment back in place, picks up water bottles/ trash left on machines to keep the gym clean. Open 24hrs, which is great if you don't have a lot of free time, & it's also cheap for both memberships.

Great location lots of machines but if your looking to lift or work on arms or legs you have to deal with people just chilling on the machines with there phones and if you ask them to use it they always say there resting between sets a rest isn't 15 20 minutes and when you bring this up to the staff it still doesn't get fixed so I was forced to buy my own equipment and I've been coming for a few years I'm actually going to cancel my membership if I get another membership it'll be with EOS

I reached out to cancel my membership after moving and was told I needed to mail a letter. They said I’d stopped being charged according to the postmarked date. 6 months go by and the charges keep coming. I called again. They told me to now email them and that it can’t be done over the phone. Another few months pass with more charges. I called again, sent follow-up communications, and then was told they CAN cancel over age phone. I never received my refund that I was told I would over the phone.
Even after moving across the country I wouldn’t choose planet fitness again, at any location, thanks to this one.

I've been paying to go here for almost 6 months I have been reporting the hot water issues this place apparently can't keep up with because I still have yet to have a warm shower let alone a hot one. I don't usually like to be a pain about stuff but this is out of control what am I paying for if I don't get what I want out of the deal. I used to go to planet fitness for many years even during Covid during mask mandate but I noticed Every time during that time that I was trying to build my lungs back up because I had severe lung damage from Covid and it seemed like every time I would get on the treadmill they were spraying chemicals around each machine with like bug sprayers and I was trying to heal so I purchased my treadmill at home. The solution cannot be worse then the problem, those chemicals that were being sprayed was worse then covid itself. At the time I did say something but I do not know if anything was done . Also the other day I went in and asked some questions , the man I spoke with was very polite and helpful, one is why cannot people pay in cash there monthly fee, it is a little discriminatory for those who do not have a bank card, I think that they should reconsider the chemicals they spraying if they still are maybe with a natural alternative such as apple cider vinegar kills bacteria but it won’t kill your lungs and also consider taking cash, not everyone is the same and to not take cash cuts a lot of people out, it is not right let the cash paying customers come, I believe this would be the right thing to do. They don't make anything easy!
The place is clean and lots of good equipment. But to sign my son up took a long time. 2 times on there tablet. Once on line. Then a waiver I signed on line and on there tablet I also had to re sign it in person. For the 4 th time.
That's not what upset me. As I have had a membership for a long time it's that I looked on line for what's needed and it says form of payment. I used my debit card and they still wanted my routing and account number that I do not know of the top of my head. So a 10 min process took around 30 mins give or take a few mins steps

Honestly going here felt nice. I've been to 24 hour fitness a few times in the past, but never had I ever before last night had I stepped get in ' Planet Fitness. While don't really hear much about either. I only hear neutral to less than good from PF. Going to this one was really nice. I've never been to one before and for it to be as neat as it was made me feel welcomed, which helped clear my mind to just focus on myself.

Mentality: Their "no gymtimidation" policy sounds funny on the surface, but when you read it you realize it makes sense. If you're just wanting to go somewhere to help better yourself, it brings more mental comfort. A lot of people who want to go to the gym tend to avoid it because of stigma surrounding it. You get scared of some of the patrons. This place felt different. Felt better. Didn't feel pressured to do anything.

Staff: The staff was also friendly and answered some silly questions I had, which was nice.

Workout machines: The machines I used seemed a lot "cleaner" overall. They didn't seem to have any damage and didn't look like they'd break and hurt me if I breathed on them wrong. No. These were sturdy.
For your sake, no, I've never been hurt by a machine before. Some just looked and seemed like they would.

Price: $25? I've only really gotten word of their "black card" which from what I know is the highest tier that they offer. It comes with a good bit of benefits, including being able to bring a plus one / friend or buddy. Though they also have to sign up. It's entirely free for your friend as long as they go with you. I'll learn more about their stuff the more I go there.
If $25 is the highest price for one month here, compared to 24H- which was a lot higher price in an environment I didn't really want to return to, it's like an offer I wouldn't turn down.

In summary: Clean environment with a general dress code is in place that helps fight bad gym stigma. The machines were a lot nicer and well maintained. Staff seem helpful and friendly. Highest price is $25 and you get to bring a +1 with you for no extra charge.

All in all, I feel a 5* for this place is in order. I am certainly going to return very soon when my body decides to not be so sore.

I visit planet fitness gyms in the the San fernando Valley with a friend who has the Black Card. I was hooked on PF until I entered the Lake Elsinore Facility. IT IS FILTHY!!!! The machines are smashed together, there is no room for those lifting free weights, it smells like sweat and the attendant was oblivious that people were just walking in without scanning their membership.

This place is a joke. It used to be a good gym but now it just seems to be a recording studio for a ton of wannabe influencers who spend more time on their phone than actually using any machines. They just take up space. Most of the employees spend most of the time sitting on their butts staring at their phones. The male worker will go in there while the females are showering without announcing himself. The staff at the lake elsinore facility where very rude and inconsiderate. Last night I came in to do my workout when I suddenly fell, staff members saw me fall but did nothing to help me, not even if I was alright, they just stood there and watched. I was in pain and very embarrassed. I went into the women's dressing room and sat for a moment. I didn't want to stay so I left and went home. I called to talk to them and spoke to a Kathy, if that was her real name. She said she would right an incident report and give it to the manager and he would call me in the morning, needless to say he never called and report was never written. I called to speak to the manager and he would not give me his name. Very bad experience I will not be returning!

Absolutely love going to Planet Cellphone. Staff is always extremely friendly and willing to help. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

The only issues I have is the amount of Instagram hero's and "social media influencers" trying to finish their economic and social strategies while "attempting" to workout. This makes it hard for most of us who go to the gym to actually work out but cannot due to the social squatters sitting on the smith machines for hours while trying to change the worlds view on the carbon footprint of a fax machine.

PF, please help some of us out by enforcing some sort of time limitation or something on the high use machines. LA Fitness down the road that doesn't believe in cleaning anything enforces some form of this.

I just had the worst experience at this place. Every time I go here the water in the showers barely gets warm and today it was very cold. I told a worker that there was no hot water and she spent a bunch of time waiting for it to get hot and said, "yeah, it does that sometimes, where we dont have hot water for a few days" and so I was forced to take a freezing cold shower because I go here to shower before work. I barely even got to wash my hair because it was so cold. I'm tired of paying these guys to have a terrible experience and not get what I need.

Peoples cars being stolen here. 1 camera in the front that's fake apparently and doesnt catch very many spots. Managers informed, police informed. Be careful parking you're car here.

Clean, employees are nice, most everything works and if it dont they get it fixed pretty fast, parking is good but drive cautiously and park away from the starbucks cause the drive through backs up.

Really like this place. As an ex athlete with a ton of injuries, I like all the machines that give my joints the support they need, to not injure them further. I'm turning 64 in 3 weeks. Your never to old to hit the gym.

Bad service! Tried to tell me I can’t tan with glasses I specifically bought to go tanning that have over twice the protection as “goggles” and actually stay on my face … won’t be coming to this location again and will be switching my gym membership over to Murrieta!
