One of the most relaxing places to work out. Staff is so chill and relaxed. They clean the place religiously and members whipe off the equipment with supplied cleaning products. One of the better gyms in the area if you can do without certain amenities.

It's so easy to get in and out of this gym. The equipment counts the reps and time, and then rest time. That is so helpful! Last week I noticed a leg machine needed re-covering and some treadmills were not resetting properly. When I came in this week, all of these issues were resolved. I love that attention to detail, and I know I do not even need to point out these issues, the employees are on it. WTG Planet Fitness DTLB! Great space, great amenities, great music.

Honestly save your money, if there was a better gym close by i would’ve already got a membership. It was cool before summer time, then they started to let the younger crowd in and supplies were stolen that people use for their workouts , now it’s stolen clips for the standing upper body machines - can’t even do a full workout. i got to start being my own supplies …… l

They dont clean well. They dont refill toilet paper or paper towels. I bring my own clorox wipes in a zip lock bag. I always end up sick after using the cardio equipment if I dont wipe down before

The problem I have is that there was this inappropriate girl in the women's locker, she stared me and my friend down. She's known to grope and tease people. I know she wasn't no tweeker because I went to school with this girl. Mind you I go to the one in downtown long beach. Some werid encounter happened there 2 times with suspicious old men. I used the free summer pass for teens. Besides that it can be dangerous for some of us younger people they should also do background checks on some people for safety reasons. As well I got a free 50 dollars edibles discount from planet fitness and I'm not even of legal age to buy that. Its a okay gym

The building has two floors and has a cardio area, a weight training area, a massage area, lockers, a bathroom for all genders, bathrooms with showers for women only, and another for men only. It is super spacious. It is really well equipped , staff is very respectful and they are always cleaning and disinfecting the machines.

The area for mats is pretty small I wish it was bigger I was arm distance from another person trying to stretch. Overall it is clean, the staff is helpful, items sold here are at a very reasonable price and it was not crowded. I felt really comfortable doing my workout and definitely will keep attending.

Love this location!! Free 90 min parking right acrss the street very central in downtown from most areas. Clean, friendly staff, plenty of equipment and a great price!!!! They need more wall clocks there though for timing sets etc.. They have zero clocks upstairs (need two) and could use a second one downstairs. Other than the clock thing, this place is fantastic!!!

I’ve been coming here since it opened in DTLB a year and a half ago, even keeping my membership when I was out of town a lot for work. It’s always clean, staff are super friendly, plenty of free parking a block over, usually solid music. However, since the new year, there have been 3-4 strength machines that I want to use out of commission at any given time. Today it was lat pulldown, leg press, and quads lift. It’s already tough enough to get machines because this is a (very) popular location and usually only two machines of any muscle group, and when things are broken day after day, week after week, it makes me reconsider. Hoping they can get their maintenance game back and I can give 5 stars!

It's pretty empty in the mornings 4am to 5am which is a plus. Staff is great and equipment is put away. However, the people here hardly ever clean the machines after each use. Do yourself a favor and clean it prior to use and after of course. Besides the sweaty offenders, it's a good gym.

I’m a Classic Club member of Ximeno which means I can only work out at that location. Understood. I however, was in the downtown area and I saw the Pine Avenue location. It urged me to use the restroom and I thought, hmm this is kind of my gym, I’m not gonna workout, only use the restroom. I was denied using the Locke room restroom unless I upgraded or switched my location just to use their restroom. I understand policy but no courtesy at all for a fellow club member🤦🏻‍♂️

I love how clean it is. Not only staff cleans but we can clean up after using the machines. Staff is very friendly. They greet you upon arrival and departure. All around great place to work out. And being a black card member is the best. Being able to bring someone with me everytime. And all the extras. Tanning booth. Meditation room. My absolute favorite is the hydromassage bed.

I reached out to the general manager at this location to try and resolve an issue with my membership, he sounded very annoyed and was impatient and rude over the phone and just hung up on me… then when I called back he continued to make excuses and speak over me. Very unprofessional & I definitely don’t recommend this gym at all!

They stole my scooter from the lockers, I asked the staff for help to show me the cameras and they told me that only the manager had access, I have gone many times to look for the manager to ask for his help to locate the person who stole my scooter and the manager has never had time to assist me

I've been going here a year now; the gym is pretty awesome overall. The employees are professional and friendly, there is a concentrated focus on the staff keeping the equipment CLEAN (like I've never seen in a gym before). The Black Card membership level is very affordable, which allows you access to the "spa" area (tanning etc) at no additional charge as well as full access to all PF gyms (which is what I use a lot as I travel for work).

I won't ever go there again. Some members drop their weights LOUD and staff does nothing. They have a policy (lunk alarm) just to put something on the walls. Most people go their to workout and be in their zone without having to hear a person screaming for attention by dropping weights. The staff is either too scared or lazy even when I asked them about it happening.
Another issue was 14 dumbbells were not in their place. They were somewhere in the gym. It is not the members job to go look for them. The facility in Long Beach on Ximeno do a GREAT JOB. I was hoping to go to the downtown facility since it's closer to home. BUT NEVER AGAIN.
By the way this was around 1am on Wednesday night. Train your staff correctly.

The facility is kept very clean and organized. Access to plenty of equipment/machines. The atmosphere feels so much better than other gyms and you can really feel the difference of a "Judgement-Free Zone." A lot of space with two floors so it doesn't feel crowded. And after your workout you can relax on one of several hydro massage beds, massage chairs, or wellness pods before heading out. The gym looks like it's all new as well.
