Staff seems incredibly bored to be here and disinterested in guests wellbeing or cleanliness. Would rather stand around than do their jobs. Lots of annoying teenagers hogging equipment and no action taken by staff.

Additionally, this gym lacks any sort barbells, and only has smith machines, which was fine until they recently removed all Barbell pads making it extremely unsafe to use said machines. I've never been to a gym that does not offer guests Barbell pads for their safety and well being.

And lastly, and probably the most troubling, this gym does not offer any sort of designated stretching area, which is so essential to muscle health. There are 2 mats available but there is no place to actually use them to stretch. Theres a huge unused corner of this gym that could so easily be converted into a stretching & Bodyweight training area of this gym. Do better and actually cater to those who want to work on their fitness.

This has got to be the cleanest, friendliest/ most welcoming gym I have ever been to!! We normally get here around 11 p.m and the staff welcomes every single person that walks in and to me that is impressive. Customer service like the one that's given at this planet fitness is nowhere to be found anywhere anymore. My husband and I just had to transfer here from the Huntington Park location after 4 visits because if our money is going somewhere we most definitely want it to go to this gym because of the staff that works here.

I've had a great experience with Planet Fitness for the past 4 years, but I'm heavily disappointed that they decided to become politically biased with the media they display on the TVs.

I wouldn't mind if they had both sides of the political spectrum visible to see different perspectives for ongoing issues and turmoil. However, they recently decided that they would show right wing biased news sources completely uncontested. I'd be complaining if they did the same for the left. Hopefully they decide to go back to their old ways or completely remove news entirely.

Besides that, the staff and workouts have been great. Apparently this choice came from higher ups in the franchise.

This place is horrible! There's no order. So disrespectful! Area is horrible.
A young worker went to the elder ladies too give them the gun rules of no belongings... AND THEN the young kids pushing, arguing, "playing" aggressively do not get told anything.
It's too chaotic with all these kids in the gym. If they respected the area they were at it would be ok.. but this was horrible.

Just wanted to give a special shoutout to Debby (who I believe is a manager) who helped me with my account. I had been trying to upgrade to the black card but for some reason it wouldn't work on the app, online or in person. I even called member services and they were unable to help. Luckily Debby was able to fix the issue over the phone quickly and without hassle!

Good place to workout, save for the small parking lot, and indoors is also a little cramped. The machines here appear older, but they are better than the ones at the traffic circle loacation because they hit the proper muscles. Smaller place means less machines too, but it doesn't get too busy here, so it's not that bad.

There's a lot of homeless persons in the area, and someone was taking a dump in the parking lot last time...:/

The staff are friendly however they do not monitor the 30 minute workout zone, which is unfortunate because you can’t complete the designated zones because people sit there on their phones. Also, there’s a lot of trash in the parking lot and please don’t leave a comment from corporate saying that you’re not responsible for the trash and the parking lot because you own the parking lot. It’s just your location so this is all trash. It’s disgusting and there are employee should be picking up. It’s disgusting and there are people living in cars on the backside of the building.

So this is my first and last time going to this planet fitness. Parking is ridiculous since it's so small. The building looks like it would have a second floor, but it doesn't. When you walk in, you get the feeling that there isn't any space and machines are placed anywhere just because. Machines are not kept up to standard. I normally wouldn’t have a problem with this gym. Im a high schooler and I’ve been trying to fit the gym into my busy schedule. The problem comes in the fact that my school dress code is jeans and I take the bus home so I do not have time to go home, change, and come back to the gym because by the time I finish my work out the buses stop coming. I’ve been to the gym in jeans various times and thought there wouldn’t be an issue, but today I was told to leave because of my jeans. This is the only gym near my house and I don’t have someone who can drive me to a different gym. I can not control my uniform or the bus routes and can not go to the gym. All inclusive? Not to students.

Horrible customer service for a guest trying to try out the gym. Me and my friend were lied to and made to start a membership when we asked for a day pass, paid or not paid we were just asking for ONE day. On the CHERRY AVE location website it says try a free guest day pass (screenshot below) but when we got in the employee Jonathan said they didn’t do the free guest pass. We were okay with that and asked how much a guest pass was he said we would be charged and it would go towards starting a membership. We were in a time crunch to we started a membership with all of the fees, after our visit we checked the OFFICIAL planet fitness website that says ALL locations should have a guest pass that allows guests to try the gym BEFORE starting a membership (screenshot below). This location is clearly trying to scam innocent customers trying to try a gym. It is not worth it since this is one of the smallest planet fitness facilities I have seen and clearly from the other reviews they do not keep up with the equipment for the regular customers.

Gym is ok but this review is about my dad’s car window being broken and having his gym bag stolen last night. As the police officer was making the report, a lady went up to them and said the same thing happened to her. My dad said that not too long ago, he also noticed a car window had been busted as there were bits of broken glass. Then about 1-2 weeks ago, he noticed someone’s trunk had been opened on their truck and it looked like someone broken into it because the things in their truck bed were shuffled around. That’s 4 break ins in less than a month period. Such a shame that the gym is good but your cars aren’t.

I had to wait at the front desk for the last 25 min because there was no manager present and the new girl didn’t know how to start up the black card perks on the kiosk… She had to call the manager multiple times. I also tried purchasing a beverage and she couldn’t charge me… She called the manager again & still didn’t know how to solve the problem. Like, hi, I’m trying to give money to your business - you’re saying you’re leaving someone who doesn’t know how to take my money in charge? Don’t get me wrong - this was NOT her fault AT ALL, but leaving her there on her own without teaching her what to do in case she needs to help one of the customers is pretty bad management.

The gym was great, but the issue was the staff. They were really rude and disrespectful towards me. I went to go pay for a drink and the service I received from one of the staff members was poor. She seemed like she did not want to help me. Another incident involved another planet fitness member that involved a staff member doing shady things. I never felt so uncomfortable at a gym. In addition, the staff is not aware of the strange things happening in their gym. I would really like to stay but I wont stay at a place that makes me feel uncomfortable. Overall, the staff is very immature and snobby.

Always clean here and the staff are always welcoming and helpful.
They do have a Lunk alarm but it depends who is working and how loud an individual is being for it to be set off. Overall very rare but if you're wearing headphones/earphones you won't notice.
There is a lot of cardio equipment I'm comparison to weight machines and free weights but there's bound to be something available to work out on.
Busiest times are the evenings on weekdays since people tend to work out after work.
They have lockers in the restrooms but make sure to bring your own locking mechanism is you want to ensure no one takes your stuff. Everyone is respectful and I've left my jacket in a locker with no lock multiple times but better be safer if it's something more like a wallet or keys.

It's 8:56a. Totally unimpressed. It's way too crowded. The machines are all cramped and everyone is all piled on to one another. Honestly it doesn't look very clean. Parking is an atrocity. I've been to 3 other PF's and all three were very well maintained and spacious. Locations were Diamond Bar, Tustin and Buena Park. I'll not be back here again, I only came because I was in the area.

Decided to visit this gym 4 years after joining, back in Kings County. I got my reminder of what makes these guys the go to. The staff member Ivy was extremely helpful, professional and informed. My situation was not simple but she made sure I was able to get it resolved, and have a pleasant workout in the clean environment she and the staff are maintaining here. Give that woman a raise and promotion ASAP. I Highly recommend this location as your “home gym”.

Free wifi? You’re kidding, no connection at all here. Forget trying to listen to music, watch or read on the treadmill unless you download it at home or work before getting there.
It’s really frustrating that what already exists doesn’t improve. They advertised greatly on improvements and upkeep for pf. Well, that was the big why for the raise of the monthly black card membership. I regret not getting crunch fitness or somewhere else.
Reliable internet network should be priority. Everyone listens to music at the gym and is on their phone.
I have been here three times to THIS location and the wifi issue is always the same.
PLEASE IMPROVE IT.
On wifi connections you see the office wifi and then judgement free zone. I know y’all got good wifi for your office. Boost it up for members since we now pay 25 a month!

I go to PF about 4 days a week. It's clean, staff 8s friendly and most are there to workout lol. I don't get interrupted by anyone during my workout (Ladies) and the massage chairs after my workout huts the spot and keeps me from being sore the next day. All in all... I'm loving it!

I loved this place until tonight when I told the front desk about two guys talking loud with their mask hanging from their chins. Also a homeless man with bag in hand not working out sitting in the middle of the gym watching tv. The guy at the front desk said he was the only one on the floor but when I leave 30 mins later I see it's two of them at the desk and nothing has changed. Either one of them left the desk. On my way out I said "Don't forget what I told you." He didn't look at me and nod his head. Covid is alive and well and especially at the gym. We can do matter.
