Place is spotless, no sticky benches or nasty smells ever. Every machine works; if something’s off they fix it same day. Staff actually notice you they alway greet you and say bye when exiting. Best gym I’ve hit in years. Other gyms in the area are not as well maintained as this one nor have even half the equipment this one has to square footage ratio.

I’ve been to all of the other planet fitness nearby and this has always been my go to. Plenty of space and equipment that’s up to date (not old or falling apart - as far as i’ve seen/aware) compared to other ones and just overall better. I haven’t checked the black card perks so I’ll update this when I do.
I’d definitely recommend coming to this one.

This company is a joke. I tried to cancel my membership and there is no option for it. I tried calling there and they gave me an automated bunch of confusion. Finally talked to someone and now they're forcing me to come in and use my signature to cancel the membership. I'm super pissed off

I’ve always had a good experience at this location whenever I’m in the area. Lots of parking available, friendly staff, and clean/working equipment.

I’ve seen more new machines at this location than any other PF I’ve visited.

The restroom/showers have always been clean on my visits.

Now for the bad, but not so serious issues I’ve noticed at this location.

There are way too many televisions either off or not working.

The availability of so much equipment has created the lack of space for stretching/floor exercises.

Overall, these issues are not enough to keep me from giving this location the full 5-stars. This location is great and I appreciate it being there.

Wow! The shower area and locker room was so clean you could eat off the floor (I wouldn’t, but you know what I mean.) and super friendly! I visit Planet Fitnesses from Northern CA to the Central Valley. Lovely places to stop and clean up if you travel. Great amenities and amazing hours. Positive energy and excellent customer service. Gym has been renovated in a lot of areas and looks much better. Equipment works here. Staff are friendly. Great guest experience, would recommend. The manager is professional and personable. Originally I left this gym in the first place a few years ago for a few reason but I’m glad it turned around as much as it did. I just switched gyms from in shape. Clean and very good staff. Purchased the black card lets me bring my daughter with me. Originally gave a 3 star cuz I just found my guests cannot use the black card amenities and I thought she could but they have been sweet and let my daughter join me. Would have switched forever ago but honestly I use to think planet fitness was gross. I was very wrong. A very good gym. 10/10 recommend. A great staff.

I’ve been a member since 2019, never had an issue till the other day. Scanned my membership and then was told my annual fee was due. The gentleman Xavier told me I had to pay 10$ if I wanted to workout. My friend has the black card and can bring a guest so he mentioned to use his pass and the guy denied him and said he couldn’t, however thats what he pays for monthly to have a guest, Xavier said if he allowed it he would have to allow it with others meanwhile he was allowing people to walk in without scanning there membership thing then you’re good no need to scan and wouldn’t even speak to us much just said pay the 10$. The other gentleman workin was very nice and provided a more explanation stating my payment was still in pending, so I understood the 10$ fee however Xavier should not be pickin and choosing who he can scan in or not and he could’ve provided better customer service

Been a member for longer than I want to say! (Since I didn’t go for a year I was paying) but WoW Beatriz has been so encouraging and inspirational- even late night. I always found it difficult to want to be at the gym but I look forward to seeing her and chatting it up about our diets! The management really takes care of this club in particular- it’s clean, bathrooms are always stocked and equipment if an issue is quickly repaired! I have always been a member at bigger named gyms and felt some sort of way going here but I have to tell you, I’m impressed and so happy to be at planet fitness!! Make sure to say Hi to Beatriz!!

I was a member in the past a traveling CNA/Caregiver I went in to work out and I waited in line to get help with something I waited for 10pm wen I finally got help I had to say something then I got told off by a employee!! She then told me I had to leave!!! The man of that gym took her side didn’t review cameras!! If she did she stayed quiet!!! I have been a member of Planet Fitness since 2017 and started in Cedar Rapids, IA before moving to Modesto, CA in 2018. In CR, the west location my home and I felt like I was home. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. In Modesto, Briggsmore is my home location but I never felt at home as I did in CR until now, since Ezzy become the manager. Thank you Ezzy and staff for making this senior citizen feel seen and a family member!! I love you all. I have arthritis and the benefits of being a Black Card member has helped my pain immensely. I tell everyone about Total Body (red light therapy), and how it helped my pain and cellulite. My inner thighs do not rub together anymore. I love the hydro-massage. Helps with the arthritis in my neck. Thank you and God Bless you all!

there are not enough adjustable weight benches (which means you have to wait for one available) and the existing ones are in bad condition.
This place has a bunch of flat benches that have little to no use and equipment broken for months.

I have decided to end my membership and move to In Shape, I rather pay more instead wasting time waiting for equipment to be available
