The equipment is all Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. They also have dumbbells and barbells up to 60 lb, and Smith's presses with free weights.

However, anybody doing heavier weights has to be very careful how they put them down, because they have this siren that they set off if they hear the single clink of a weight. The siren is much more disturbing than quiet clinks of plates every now and again, and it seems to be who's on the front desk that determine how often the siren is sounded. More recently, I haven't heard the siren here at all. :-)

They have extras for Black card members: a great infra red stand- up booth with a vibrating floor plate for muscle conditioning for us pussies, tanning, hydro massage etc so it's a great deal for $20 a month with a $40 a year annual fee.

The gym is very clean, the staff are very pleasant, and it's open 24 hours. What more could you want?

A message to Google. I go to several different Planet Fitness gyms, and you only list one for reviews. I don't know which gym you're talking about so this review is generic.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this gym. The management is unprofessional and dismissive of member concerns. Safety and comfort do not seem to be a priority here .I’ve noticed inappropriate behavior from other members that goes unchecked. On top of that, many negative reviews mysteriously disappear, which makes me question the honesty of how this business presents itself online. Overall, the environment feels unsafe, poorly managed, and not worth the money.

I have been to other planet fitness locations in other states and cities before I started frequenting this one. The company does a great job of standardizing each one so that you know precisely what you are walking into from location to location. Some may have newer nicer and more equipment and facilities, but the overall structure of the locations is the same. I think for any level of exercise except high-level individuals, you will enjoy yourself here. Parking has never been a problem for me yet.

While it's one of the nicest clubs I've been to of all the Planet Fitness clubs in the Sacramento area, the staff here seem rude. Idk why or what caused it. Maybe its because of the long hours they work cause the club is open 24 hours and I always come at night, sometimes late late at night, but yeah, kinda seems like a "better than you" attitude. Like I said. Dunno why.

NICE showers and LARGE dressing areas just a few steps outside the shower. Beautifully accepted in 🟣. PRINCE would love it here. Lol. Purple candies at the counter, purple pens, etc. it's a 2 level facility with the dressing rooms, bathrooms and showers in the lower floor. A free weight room is also located on the lower floor. Nice for doing concentration curls or any other free weight work you might want to do. It's not as busy of an area like it is on the main floor with all the cardio work that ppl do.

Come to Country Club Planet Fitness and have up to 10 of your friends (not all a the same time. Lol) meet you prior to going into the gym area. They have cute 2 person tables all metal, silver in color, for you to just hang out

I feel embarrassed for this person. It is 7:44 p.m., and I am pissed. I honestly couldn't care less if you disrespect me, but disrespecting my parents and treating them terribly is not okay. I respect policies and rules, and I always follow them, but the way the dude talked to my Dad was NOT okay. He literally is working at Planet Fitness. Not even I, who works at Government facilities treat people like that. I've had so many issues with employees at this location specifically. He shouldn't have used his hands and called my Dad to the front desk like he's a dog. I don't care if this Planet Fitness doesn't agree with me. I could care less. Yay, new equipment at the 5945 Watt Ave PF as of August 2024.
Its the updated Matrix brand, very good.
(Cardio area is still as it was.)

The employees are very friendly and keep the PF clean.

I do hope they get another MTS AB Crunch (MTSAB) or two, that was the only thing that worked my lower abs.

For the regulars, the leverage points on the new equipment are a bit different from the old ones, probably start with reduced weight from normal amount.

This review is more for people who are night owls or have social anxiety such as myself, there does seem to be more crowds at night lately, I'm hoping in the next month or two that will reduce again to normal levels as the weather gets more cold.

Other Info:
The new 'rock' climbing pull up bar unit needs to be re-positioned so its users are in plain view of the front desk, and needs a sponge foam matt/pad added in front of it (4'x4').
Many treadmills have broken side boards (**safety issue**) and some don't show any heartrate or have broken handgrips. Some bikes don't have heartrate.

I’m really saddened at how this location has gone to trash. I was a PF member a few years ago and would come here often. Now it REEKS of urine, all over the place. The women’s bathroom is a mess, the stay are just standing there. The smell was so overwhelming, I spent 36 min in there, I couldn’t take it anymore. I also have another gym membership at golds but I signed up for planet fitness because they’re the only 24 hour gym in the area. Can’t complain it’s a simple gym and good to use late nights to avoid the crowd for me. The only problem is there’s not a lot of equipment besides cardio machines so if you go during peak hours you’ll be lucky to get a bench or the weight machine you want without waiting a while. Planet Fitness is a 24/7 fitness center that has a nice assortment weights and training equipment but it is not a place for serious weightlifters. Out of 10 stars, I would rank the training equipment and loose weights at 6.5 stars. However, what they really need to do is at train their staff members to be more welcoming. Some of the staff members don't provide a first time welcome and some don't say ' Have a nice day' upon a guests departure. I rank them at 3 stars in this area. What the staff does well is keep the place super clean. I give them 9.5 stars in this area. Overall, Planet Fitness needs to be more welcoming and make sure their people are trained thoroughly.

I think this is the worst gym in the entire chain of PF gyms. The employees are not taught how to speak with guests..... There is no talk of friendliness.... The employees believe that they have the right to spoil the mood of visitors, that they can interrupt your workout whenever they want....
Only in this gym the employees think that their rule “no bags on the gym floor” means that “you have no right to be in the gym with a bag,” even if it is in your hands, or on the bench. They don’t care about your workout and your results....

I’ve been a member of the club for about 2 years, I go to PF all over California, but only this gym has such problems....
