Let me make it clear don’t ever come to this location, we had a regular attack me hit my face and spit on me literally because she thought I was recording myself working out which I wasn’t, when I got complained of the front desk they said really that’s not expected. We know her. She’s a regular, they said they will look over the cameras and take care of the matter and not comprehend her, I called back two times they never did anything. It’s been over three Weeks, they just shield that their own, it was my first time of that gym, I don’t recommend anybody to come to this gym that is super unprofessional. They basically cover their own body over the new guy that was there for the first time.

Absolutely love this location. It is first of all exceptionally clean. I just left another brand of gyms because they were so disgusting. But this one is dare I say spotless. Front desk employees are really nice. Has all the equipment I need and it isn’t too crowded. My only issue is they don’t have a scale. In an effort to not be judgmental they have excluded people who need to check their weight for health reasons. I think me weighing myself here and there should not be an issue anyone else. Other than that I like the gym and will remain here til I head back east.

DISGUSTED by this gym which lead to me cancelling my membership entirely. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned or deeply cleaned in years... go into the women's locker room and see for yourself the two inch layer of dust caked onto the bathroom surfaces, stalls and walls. The machines are dirty, the floor, from the looks of it's everything needs a deep cleaning and who knows if they change the vent filters. ALSO MANY MACHINES ARE BROKEN. Such a disgrace after coming from a very nice planet fitness in Las Vegas. I won't ever be stepping foot in another Planet Fitness after this experience it is absolutely unacceptable.

Disgusting place. Very dirty inside, it is impossible to solve any issues with the staff, Masha’s permanent staff can only say hello and goodbye when you come and go, nothing more.

If you need to solve some more serious payment issue, it is not unfair to debit your bank card. They can do it for you.

Totally sucks.

I used a promotional code for a subscription, according to the terms of which I have to use the services of this gym for the first month for free, but a week later I had an attempt to write off $15 + $20 for late payment allegedly. Seriously? It’s just some kind of scam project.

I visited this facility tonight. I was, once again disappointed overall. One of the treadmills did not work, the paper towels in the center were out, and another treadmill’s tv did not work. This was especially disappointing because there were hardly any treadmills available to use as it was busy. The bottle water fountain machine was out of order.

The ladies’ locker room toilet stalls were deplorable in my book for paying a membership. Two of the toilets had bodily fluids all around the bowl and one extended onto the toilet seat. The trash can in one stall had blood in it. The floor in the fourth stall had something questionable on the floor. To be honest, it was reminiscent of gas station bathrooms, but I don’t have to pay to use those.

I brought my own wipes to wipe the shower, just in case. Good thing I did! It was filled with scum, hair, and mildew.

I addressed all my concerns at the front desk as nicely as possible. It was explained to me that this is going to be a problem with all Planet Fitness locations because the staff is poorly paid and don’t really like their jobs, there isn’t a janitor, and there’s only two staff members at night. One worker must be manned at the front the whole time. I was informed by the front desk worker that there is not management at night so the facilities are going to be dirtier. I was told that during the day, it is better. I was also told that Planet Fitness just wants to give the persona of being clean, but that’s not the real story. It was mentioned that the workers don’t like dealing with middle-aged people that treat the workers like kids that don’t know what they are talking about. I appreciated the honesty as I am a high school teacher, but found these responses unprofessional and probably wouldn’t say all of this to a member.

I’m frustrated because I was really looking forward to using the gym over the summer and taking classes, and it looks like I will be cancelling as I do not want to be put at health risks from using the facilities. 😢 So, so sad. So, so, so disappointed.

Interesting. The way this app works to find out how crowded a place is by checking the PHONES gps. Which it explains why in the crowd meter is off the charts when normally it's busy, but not like this. When you check planet fitness crowd meter it states that there's hardly anyone there. But that's impossible since planet fitness crowd meter works on how many active accounts have been check in. Oh, and I thought this place decided to apt out from joining that dumb "high school kids come in free" BS more importantly with no adult supervision. Just a thought.

It's all you could ever need in a gym. Nothing but pure excellence to say the least. Place doesn't ever get overwhelmed with members, therfore machines are always available. It's always being cleaned so it's absolutely a very well kept gym and it's also new so all equipment is in tip top shape. 3/6/2023 updated review : this gym still holds a 5 star rating and still meets everything I mentioned prior to this extended update review. I'm almost done with my year contract and planning to renew it for another year do to its overall excellence.

I’ve been coming to this gym for a while now and most of the staff are friendly and very helpful especially Bryan the manager. He keeps this gym super clean and if the customers have any issues Bryan always goes above and beyond to resolve it. The gym can be an intimidating place but Bryan and the staff make you feel right at home.

As I mentioned I really appreciate the value and the size of the gym and the quality of the equipment including especially the cardio equipment however I think there is a strange policy that amounts to judging people you say are judging, everyone has their own viewpoint! I also think it's kind of odd that you don't have a scale and I guess that goes in line with that judging the people who judge.... That kind of thing is very subjective...

I’m gonna give this place one more shot on a random day, but if you’re still seeing this review, that means they have not changed.

First time I ever went here. With all due respect, they let in the homeless man. I was not aware of the time, but I got a hint when I saw shopping cart right in front of the entrance. I should’ve realized he was let in. When I got to the locker room, you could smell him 8-9 feet away. Very strong and pungent smell. At first, I thought well they’re being kind. He might take a shower. He might be using the facilities he’s gonna be in and out.
Oh no , I was completely wrong. I completed my workout, when I went back in to use the restroom. He was still in the stall moaning, and all of his clothing hanging on top of the stall frame.
I appreciate the stuff that was closing that day and to the that guy that I spoke to right when he was supposed to be clocking out. I’m so sorry you have to deal with that.

The gym itself is great but the staff is lacking in customer service and it's no surprise as the club manager Brian has the worst customer service of all. I've called a few times and Brian never seems to be able to help me always asking me to come in person or to call him at a later time as he is extremely busy. Planet fitness needs to retrain Brian as he is a bad representation of their business.

Planet fitness northridge has an amazing worker named Talita. After dropping my AirPod case inside of the stair master I asked multiple workers to help but were hesitant to do so. However Talita took initiative with a friendly face and helped me retrieve my AirPod case. She is an amazing worker with great customer service who deserves a raise!

Every single planet fitness I’ve ever been to has always been clean. It’s like it just opened the day before. There is wonderful staff that is always there to assist you and the hours are so flexible. Our schedules are very crazy so the fact that we can just go whenever we want is wonderful.

Everything you want in a workout and more!! What I really love is after a hard workout, I can rejuvenate my body with the hydromassage , and the massage chair. They also have a beautiful locker room where you can put your bags. They are bathrooms, showers, big mirrors and even a blow dryer. I love it!!

The employees here make this by far the best gym I've ever been to, and I've been a member at all the major ones (LA, 24, Gold's, Etc.). They keep the place incredibly clean and are always friendly and welcoming every single time I go in. I have been weightlifting for decades, and I don't want to go anywhere else. This is my forever gym :)

Good location. I didn't have the parking problem some reviewers have mentioned, but then I only go on weekdays midmorning. Equipment was clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. If it matters to you, cardio machines have TV screens (rather than big giant shared screens as in other gyms). Overall rating, A+!

Very clean and well maintained equipment. Temperature inside feels a bit on the warm side, especially if you're having an intense workout.

Not sure, but lately it's hot inside. No a/c, too cheap. If they don't run it when it gets extremely hot, gonna have to cancel membership to find another that actually runs the a/c.

Update: they're still not running the ac, keep the front doors open, and it's hot outside. Smells worse than a Gold's gym and half the people don't wipe down the machines. What will it take for them to run the ac, someone to pass out or worse?

This planet fitness sucks so bad I decided to cancel my membership 😫 for life. Too many rules and can only use it 10 times. Have to Pay for additional things and not 24 hours. When I was in the bathroom a worker came out and yelled at a woman and called the police for her having over due fees. I canceled my bank account due to an identity theft so 🤷 I was 2 days past due and forgot. They said even if I paid I could not use the facilities. So what am I paying for the other facility is filthy and none are 24 hours. I've been trying to cancel for 2 weeks because experience is poor so I guess I'll just move on. They aren't keeping their promises, making insane rules so I'm not paying or being a customer anymore. Bye bye planet fitness

The only thing I don't like is when they allow the high school students come to work out and the take up majority of the machines I enjoy and hog them. If you're working on a machine and one of them are next to you, their friends surrounds them and that interfers with my workout or the next guest workout. They should come b4 the actual paying guests gets off work. Before 3pm and/or after 5 pm Certain time frame the should be able to come.

The price was right! The customer service is good. You get greeted when you arrive and when you leave. The place is clean and you can clean the equipment you're working with. My son and I work out together. It's a good bonding experience.
