Date of Incident: November 6, 2025, around 10:12 PM

Hello planet fitness management, I am a paying Planet Fitness member, and I am writing this review to request a serious investigation into a frightening and unprofessional incident that happened to me at this location on November 6.

That night, i was driving my white Ram ProMaster van at around 10:12 PM after I parked , preparing my bag and getting ready to go in for my workout. Suddenly, the security guard on duty came knocking to my car and started harassing me aggressively for no reason.

He kept shouting, “This is private property! you need to leave!” even though I clearly told him I am a Planet Fitness member I just pulled over and my gym is right here. I explained that I just arrived and was getting ready to come inside, but he refused to listen.

Other people in their cars sitting next to me before even spoke up and told him, “She just pulled up less than 10 minutes ago!” But he still ignored them, continued yelling at me, and then called the police while making false accusations against me. I had only been parked for less than 15 minutes.

The way he acted was completely out of control. He kept demanding that I “open the door!” while yelling and acting very aggressive, almost like he was losing control. I was scared and shaking, especially as a woman alone at night. I did not feel safe at all.

Within few minutes, two police cars arrived because of his false report. I cooperated fully and show them my membership explained the truth to the officers that I am a paying member who just arrived to work out. They understood, but I was left traumatized and embarrassed.

Afterward, I went inside the gym and informed the staff at the front desk about what happened. The security guy when he done this kind of stuff or behavior, not his first time I also found out from others that this same security guard has harassed other Planet Fitness members before, which makes me even more concerned for everyone’s safety.

What happened was abuse and harassment, and it is completely unacceptable. NO WOMAN, NO MEMBER , should ever be treated like this on Planet Fitness property. I felt violated, unsafe, and disrespected by this security man’s behavior.

I am asking Planet Fitness Corporate to review all camera footage between 10:10 PM and 10:45 PM on November 6, 2025, and to take serious disciplinary action against this security guard. He should not be working in a place where members expect safety and respect. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE

Planet Fitness calls itself a “Judgment Free Zone,” but what I experienced was judgment, aggression, and harassment. I am standing up not only for myself but for all other members ESPECIALLY WOMEN who deserve to feel safe and respected when they come to this gym.

Planet fitness please investigate this incident immediately and make sure no one else has to go through what I went through that night and ensure member safety at this location.

I really love this Planet Fitness! It’s spacious, clean, and has plenty of exercise machines without feeling cramped or crowded. The women’s locker room is spotless and looks brand new. I had one of the best gym showers here. The staff are friendly and helpful—I highly recommend this location!

If I could give this place a 0 start review I would , the staff here is very rude , I took my family to the gym last night at 9:45pm my 15 year old daughter was treated very horrible, by a guy that was there, he was talking down to her in a humiliating way like he owned the place he demanded for my other daughter that was waiting for us in the waiting area to leave the gym because according to him she was loitering ,the first time we went to sign up ,my daughter waited for us the staff that was there never said a word and the other times she had waited for us while we worked out was never told by any staff to leave except for this one staff member that thought he owned planet fitness,we couldn’t work out because of how bad we were treated, as we were walking out that same guy the girl that were there started to laugh a us in a mockery way and Today I received a voicemail saying that both of our membership were going to get cancel because I was rude when it was the other way around, horrible service !! What a shame!!

Read the canceling process in the contract before signing up . They will lie to yourself face to get you to sign up.

Went in to sign up for a membership at the Ontario location. When asking how to canceling works when I no longer need a membership the front desk said you can cancel at anytime just let them know at the desk. What they say is not what the contract you sign says. They deliberately try to convince you that you can just cancel with not questioning or stipulations.

Went back a few months later to see what they say. I got the same "yeah just let us know and well cancel the membership". Still hide the fact you.must be 25 miles from a location or dead to cancel with out paying a crazy charge to get out of the contract. When I asked more about the canceling process or to see the contract I was told it would be emailed to me.

I also tried different location and they all pulled this crap. Trying to make look like you can just cancel whenever for any reason

Let me preface by stating that I'm not a big fan of PF in general...for reasons. I use it out of necessity and it does the job when a proper facility isn't available.
All that said: this is legitimately the best PF I've been to. Obviously a gairly new facility. Very clean, VERY spacious, the front desk staff are congenial, but appropriately hands-off. The gentleman on the floor keeping things organized was very diligent and very polite. I went early(-ish) in the day and it was delightfully uncrowded. If you're in the area, worth popping in to get that on-the-road pump; if you live in the area, go to a meathead gym...unless you can't afford the membership, in which case PF will do ya just fine!!
ALSO, two sets of each weight of kettlebells!! I've never seen that at PF, and I appreciate the hell put of it.

Update: I had to take off a star because they are no longer 24 hours which really bothers me because I like to work out in the wee hours of the night when it's nice and empty. I'm very bummed about this!

This is my favorite gym this far. I go after work which is really late, usually 1am. The gym is fairly empty but not completely dead. It's always clean. And best of all I always see security patrolling around outside so I feel safe about my car. There is a 24 hour laundromat in the same center that a little bit sketchy but again , the security guard is always there. I even saw him give somebody a jump one night which I thought was cool. But sure what the vibe is in the day time because I've never been but as far as my late night experience, I'm very pleased.

When using the squat rac n there's only a total of 4 available please don't stay on them for an hour at a time, doing endless amounts of sets n different exercises, their should a time limit since it's very apparent they have no common sense in the gym!!!

This Planet Fitness is just okay. Mostly due to the poor customer service here at the club. Most employees are usually on their phones and distracted. Some of the employees walk around with their little groups and hangout at some of the equipment. I’m thinking to myself shouldn’t you guys and gals should be doing something. When I come to this club it’s like being in high school all over again. On a positive note it’s 24 hours so that a good thing, because at my job I work rotating shifts.

As far as I've experienced I've only been Here before 2pm, staff is welcoming ofcourse you have you antisocial staff members that walk around unhappy with some personl problems. Go to this gym every weekend. Never busy (during mid-day weekend hours). The staff is friendly, the equipment is clean, and there is plenty. The only real complaint is that the urinals are always dirty, liked caked on yellow, and trash in there. I try not to use them, so it's not really an issue for me, though.

Went in there during rush hour, it wasn’t too bad, however, when I first walked in, I was not greeted with kindness or even welcomed in. Not even a hello or a goodbye. This employee was not very welcoming in the slightest. I worked in customer service for the longest and this is not something that I would tolerate. Other employees are friendly and welcoming but this employee in particular did not seem kind whatsoever. Hardly spoke and seemed bothered while helping a customer. I went in about 10:50 pm sunday for a workout got back to my locker about 12:15am and my locker (which was locked) was emptied. Love this gym but they really need a male and female to be regularly checking male and female locker rooms every so often cause whoever stole my things had time to pull out whatever they had to cut the lock off my locker .. if you use any lockers use the ones out in the open NOT in the womens locker room!

I'm a full time traveler and this week I have been in Ontario. This gym was close by the sheraton where I was staying and I decided to come here.
The gym is super clean and organized
I love how they decorated for Halloween
Not super crowded in the morning and there is distance between a bench and another and the machines.
The employees are super nice even at 4.30 am they have been greeting me with a smile :)

Today was my first day going, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was, the atmosphere was calm. The music I didn’t like however it wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t tolerate it. This place is the bomb. I like everything about it. The front desk workers at night are super cool and really professional work all the guests. This place is really clean. Everyone that comes here obeys rules bigtime. All the people that come here, I see them when there done. Go into the bathroom. Either take showers. But they definitely wipe off the machine they were working on and they wipe it down with the rag and Lysol or cleaner. Then they go into bathroom to wash hands. Is everyone does this.
