I’m a truck driver so parking is always the first concern. I parked in the back and there weren’t signs and they aren’t uptight, no problems. Hot clean shower, cold water fountain, clean facility with all equipment up to par. Zero complaints. I went at the most popular time of day and it was pretty crowded but that’s a good thing

This Planet Fitness is especially spacious and always clean. All the staff are friendly; Marcus is a really outstanding member of the staff. He seems to know everything about the facility. membership, schedules - you name it. He is also an amazingly positive and friendly person. He makes everyone feel welcome and I've never even seen him frown. When I was transferring my membership from an out of state Planet Fitness, he understood the process, and how to move it along, better than literally anyone else. I always appreciate seeing him at the front desk - I think he sets a great tone for the whole gym.

The facilities themselves are great. It's the culture or lack of actual gym culture that appears to be fostered here. People on machines taking way longer than they actually need to be taking, talking and texting on their phones, carrying out full conversations during their 20 minute breaks between sets, completely clueless or careless that other people could want to use the machines.

For the cheapest gym in town, it holds almost everything most gym goers need. If you don't like waiting for a bench, machine, or weights, you might prefer to go at the slower times, or else be flexible with how you plan to workout. It would be more honest (which I prefer), even if it was worse marketing, if they put the yearly fee up front in the monthly price, which adds a big percentage to the actual cost. Clean, easy, cheap, and mostly friendly staff.

were stand up the day I went in to ask for a pause in my wifes membership dues. She started a job that would not give her the time to use the facilities. They replied no problem, tell us when it best for you to begin active use.

The overall experience is good, your night crew Pookie and Christiane are fantastic. Your staff that open on the weekends need help with PR. Mainly Jessica. Jessica is clearly here early and the gym is up and ready. Why does she refuse to let anyone in until exactly 7am. Any given weekend morning there are 15-20 patrons waiting to enter and she will let every person wait until 7am to enter. Time is something a lot of our working class don't have a lot of. Some of us are training for shows and others just to better their overall health. Regardless if a person with keys is early what is the issue with opening the doors early?? Let those of us that value our time with our families get on with our day.

Sign up knowing I was going to have surgery on my knee my surgery date kept getting pushed back worker comp so I decided I only visit planet fitness 1 time I would cancel and come back after surgery. Sent certified mail to the store I thought that was it no got my 49.00fee then got monthly dues. Called store talk to the first Mgr she told me sorry they don't check their mailbox outside Dan she said she would check it out one week later I called back for her she doesn't work there anymore was told find my receipt from post office show her she would check in to it so first Mgr told me I will get back my 49 dollars and my 24
99 and late fees taken from my credit card and my bank after 2 half months I called the number Mgr gave me to take care of it myself they refunded my bank card 49 dollars can't give me back the 24.99 or late fees because that was taken by the store calling back and emailing said each time 7 to 10 business days I will get refunde nothing ask them write me a check they had no problem taking from my bank nothing be very careful there u not coming back tell a friend. To this. Day 10/3/2023 they will not give me my money back they took out of my bank be careful with them they just stopped altogether telling me they were going to refund my money after I canceled my membership still card my bank card they returned by having me call there office but charge my bank account when I canceled said yes we did but can't wrote a check to give you back what we stole from you there not very good to there customers it's 11-31-2023 now I tell everyone I know about them

Wow, I recently visited this gym in Paso Robles from out of town and boy was I impressed. The moment I stepped in the two girls working there were so happy to see me but they don't no me but that did not stop them. Later after my light work I showered. Best planet fitness I’ve ever been to. The two ladies upfront Mary and Pooky were absolutely wonderful. I took a shower here and it was one of the cleanest remodeled planet fitness showers I’ve ever been in. I have been in probably a 100 planet fitness’s in multiple states. Turns out Pooky is the one that cleans and takes care of them. Shout out to Pooky. Nice work! These two ladies deserve a pat on the back and a raise by planet fitness. They represent them well! My experience with planet fitness has been wonderful, first of all I love that it is Open 24–7, I love all the different options of exercise equipment, most of the employees at planet fitness are very helpful and keep the gym clean. I personally love the manager Danielle because she is very helpful and whenever you have any issues she resolves it for you right away or answers any questions that you have right away. I moved to Paso from AZ back in Aug. I was a little worried about the gym thing since I'm from a fairly large city. I love planet fitness! Robert helped to acclimate me to the gym, the massage chairs (amazing) and the infared light enhancement (love that too). The gym is always spotless, and the entire staff is so so helpful. I love this place. It’s always so well kept. But the main thing that sets it aside from all other places I’ve had memberships, the staff. SO welcoming. One team member specifically deserves a shout out. Jamal. I was really discouraged joining a new gym after Covid caused my gym to go out of business. Jamal has always said “see you tomorrow” to me when I was walking out. After awhile it felt like I had to go because someone was keeping me accountable. He is always so chipper and helpful. He encouraged me over the course of a month or so to try the beauty angel and explained to me how it all works. I was hesitant to try it because I’m a creature of habit. It was a really cool experience. He always encourages me to use my perks. He is super encouraging & honestly he’s one of a kind. So definitely shout out to him. Sometimes When I don’t feel like going I hear his voice
Saying “see you tomorrow” and I will end up going. On the days I feel a bit lazy, and don’t do a full workout he will always say “at least you made It” the world needs more people like him. Thank you Jamal !

I just got off the phone with this nice sweet person named Natalie she was very helpful on answering my questions I had to ask about the new planet fitness being put in Atascadero I can't wait! I'm super excited! I been wanting and asking for years. I moved out here in Atascadero in 2012 of October and was looking for a gym to go to so I went with my brother who signed us up for planet fitness in Paso Robles it was great. I loved working out and having such a great staff who took there time to answer questions and have a sit down with some of the health coaches in there or trainers they were all friendly
caring people. I just loved planet fitness because no one ever judged like other gyms did and i can just workout and have fun and focus on me. Im So happy planet fitness is blooming and new gyms are opening up. Omg im so excited 😊 can't wait!
