I love working out here the atmosphere is unmatched the customer service is great but on last night that all changed. I work out every night at 10pm along with a good friend of mine. Last night I worked out alone. After my work out I went to the counter and asked for 3 coins for the massage chair Jeremiah provided the coins to me I went in the back and both cheers was occupied I returned to the counter and asked Jeremiah could you please cut on the hydro massage bed and he did after the 10 minutes on the hydro massage bed I wiped it down and then went and got in the massage chair which was now unoccupied all of a sudden a lady in a planet fitness shirt came in questioning me asking did I just get off the massage bed did Jeremiah give me tokens and cut the bed on for me she left and came back and asked how many tokens he gave me I responded 3 I also explained the chairs were occupied so I had the bed cut on it was not until tonight I found out who she is her name is Tiara they call her T and she's the general manager her customer service is horrible I've never been so uncomfortable at planet fitness in my life and I work out here everyday questioning a customer not introducing herself just rude disrespectful and horrible customer service I think planet fitness really need to look into who they have managing

Look out, they like to dig in into your pocket when you are not looking. In my case at Planet fitness in pittsburg ca. They serve themselves with the big spoon. My membership was for 15 dollars a regular account. According to them my bank account was enter wrong, supposedly, it work fine when I opened the account never the less they said because my routing number was wrong they had to charge me late fees amounting to over 40 dollars every month. I did not sign on for the black card and I know it, they confirmed it when I want to use the tan machine one day, I couldn't they told my because my account didn't have those preblilege. But to my surprise I was when I complained about the fees.So look out check yours charge in your bank they maybe serving themselves to more than you wish to pay for their dirty establishment.

I have been coming to this gym for years and seen many managers come and go. They recently got a new Manager and I hope she stays for the long run. The gym vibe and atmosphere has changed tremendously. The staff is always in good spirits, happy and greeting with a smile. The Manager comes on the floor and engages with members and will even hit a quick set with us. She checks on her members mental health and not just their physical health. As a senior citizen that is needed sometimes for someone just to care. The staff are walking around cleaning and organizing the gym consistently. I won't go to any other gym except Pittsburg because of the friendliness and cleanliness.

Slipped and fell in their disgusting shower and had to go to the ER on to of other things like how unsafe women fell there but just me, I saw a woman complaining about another make they're that was harassing her, a different one than the one who was harassing me, another dude even took off with my bag and they wouldn't even call him which led to me calling the police to report it stolen and me having a panic attack, went to the er, came out, tried to do a regular work out and shower then fell. They were very unhelpful and did not care at This Planet Fitness, and they had some sort of snot like substance dripping from the public water fountain, 4 different hair colored clinic in the storm drain I had to shoot water at it to go away then I slipped and fell getting out of there and went to the ER .

Just last week the gym finally got a sort of revamp with the new equipment new weights some new layout which I'll admit does spruce up the place but not only did they get rid of a couple great machines they didn't add very many quality machines they could have done a lot more with the equipment and the layout for sure but I love the night staff in there the guys brighten up the place and they do their job well

Having issues with female on-site manager Paula/Paulina frequently entering the mens bathroom…once while exiting shower in the nude. Has happened frequently. Her response is boiler plate corporate. “I am the manager and need to access it.” Several of us asked her to leave and she actually said she would cancel our membership. I know that MEN staffers do not enter the womens bathroom. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with her dodge and threats. Beware!

Downgraded my membership and the staff didn't let me know I was supposed to roll my account information over and/or add my checking account info again, so I ended up being charged a late fee even though I have a card on file. Prior to September, and me downgraded my membership, I never had an issues with payment. And instead of offering some type of assistance, Pamela, the manager told me that it was my fault because I didn't check the app. Horrible customer service. Be careful when enrolling in a membership. Staff is not trained on membership pricing. You get lured in on promotional pricing then charged everyday pricing. Not the best equipment nor great condition. I also advocate for hiring mentally challenged people but, they have to make sure that the staff understands when a costumer wants to cancel membership they actually have to close the account. I came in to cancel my membership due a medical operation and a staff member “assisted” me and told me account will be ending at last bill cycle which it didn’t for a few months. Luckily I caught it before it became a real problem because they can’t refund even though that was on them and I haven’t been there since.

I started a membership online back in Oct. but when I came to use the gym I was told I had to be vaccinated. I requested a refund but the manager was not available. I eventually got in contact with the manager via phone, i explained to her the Covid policy is not online and should be listed online. She told me I would have to come in to cancel my account and received refund but she could freeze my account for 3 months until I am able to come in to cancel which doesn’t even make sense. It’s now December and they are still charging my card which means she never froze my account. I am now at the location on the only day I have time to and the manager is not a available this is outrageous. Like they’re basically just taking free money. On top of that the sign on the door says to provide a negative Covid test or vaccination card, but they are telling you, you have the be VACCINATED! Smh

I went online and got a free day pass to try out this gym since I live nearby. The gym has very many options just like most gyms. You’ve got your cardio equipment, you’ve got weights, etc. What I did really like is that they have a section that is for a 30 minute workout, and it tells you how long you spend on each machine within 30 minutes to get a full body workout. It takes the thinking out of working out especially if you’re in a crunch for time. They are also offering one dollar down right now, plus their memberships are only $10 a month. I think I’m gonna go ahead and move forward with making this my gym, I really enjoyed my free pass! The staff were also very helpful, and they were always cleaning, wiping some thing, and vacuuming while I was there. I went around 6 o’clock, and although the parking lot looked full, inside there was very much space and equipment still to be used.
