I've been working out every day for the past two months and have been exclusively using this Planet Fitness in Rancho. I'm so glad I found this gym as it's become a key part of my fitness journey.

The facility is very clean, and while it’s smaller than some other locations, it offers a great variety of equipment and workout options. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and they always go above and beyond to support the members.

I'm genuinely happy this location is part of my routine. It’s helping me stay on track and push toward my goals every day.

Don't get me wrong, I adore most of the staff, but.... certain employees that work night crew behave like children and have absolutely no idea what their job description is. They have no clue how to answer member questions or how to solve them. When I attempted to shower the water would not get the least bit warm, even after letting it run for about 15 minutes minimum. When I told the girl at the front desk she told me to take a "Mexican shower". When I asked what that was she told me that there's no hot water in Mexico. I kid you not, that's what she said.

This is one of the smaller locations but it lacks nothing. I love that every time I've come in here, it's not over crowded. Most of the staff have been friendly especially Manuel and Edith who are super helpful when I have questions. A few more bonuses with this location is their massage chair is second to none. Best one out of all the locations I've visited. And last but certainly not least, the fact that they are actually open 24 hours. This is very important and the main reason why I joined Planet Fitness. I want to be able to workout when ever my schedule permits or when ever I get the urge to, regardless of what time it is. I usually go on the off hours because I prefer an empty gym and I can't do that when they close on the weekends at an early hour.

I’ve been a Black Card member at Planet Fitness for a few months, and while I love the gym’s facilities and the friendly staff, I’m experiencing ongoing billing issues that have been incredibly frustrating to resolve. I’m sharing my story here in hopes of getting some help or attention.

In October, I noticed unexpected charges: a mix of $15 and $25 fees that didn’t match my regular membership amount. I tried to resolve it with the gym staff, who were courteous and said they’d look into it. However, I never received the promised follow-up call, so I reached out to my bank to limit Planet Fitness charges to just the membership fee and provided proof. Eventually, it seemed the gym manager was able to fix it.

Since then, things haven’t been smooth. This month, my automatic payment didn’t go through as expected, and I ended up with a $25 plus $15 charge. The staff reassured me that they’d fix it and that I didn’t need to pay immediately. Unfortunately, due to my night-shift schedule in the hospital, I missed a call from them but noticed that the balance disappeared—only for a new balance to appear a week later. I paid the $10 balance right away, but then I got hit with another $5 charge, which I also paid. Now, I see a new balance of $25 plus $15, and I’m struggling to reach anyone for support.

My agreement number is 01556. I tried calling the provided number (800-400-8005), and it only prompts me to enter an extension if I know it. When I don’t, the call just rings with no answer. Since I work nights, it’s hard for me to come in person during the day, and I feel stuck.

The gym itself is great, and the staff are respectful and helpful in person, but this billing issue is ongoing and seems to affect other members as well. I’m reaching out here in hopes that someone from Planet Fitness can help resolve this for good or direct me to someone who can. Thank you!

Well my experience here is awful. Basically I just washed my shirt in the shower. Don't ask me why it was just easier and it was my favorite shirt. And basically the staff here noticed and then began some intense harassment. Everytime I showered the staff would come clean the showers and be extremely obnoxious. and also the waters wouldn't run hot. Also they told me after I canceled I paid for a month so I could keep coming for the last month and that the cancelation wouldn't be in effect until the fee was paid. I called another planet fitness and they said that until I paid the fee I could keep coming and I said I wanted to keep the membership but he said I couldn't..... Weird! Definitely gonna look into a suit so the could pay my last month and cancelation fee and also the could pay for my attorney if I do it. Pro Bono lawyer hopefully will pick up my suit

Eli is an outstanding manager. He puts his foot down on policies, keeps the place clean, and maintains a friendly environment. I have not had any problems with staff except with Ana who continuously makes rude remarks to me specifically, which is why I rate 3 stars. At first I took it jokingly but after 4 months she has not changed her unwelcoming demeanor towards me. I hope in the near future that I can change my rating to 5 stars!

I am disappointed by the way Planet Fitness handled a billing issue. I am enrolled in auto billing on my credit card which always has available credit, but somehow they must’ve had an issue with their processor and they claim that they could not charge my card. So, they just went about charging me a late fee of $25. I called this to their attention, but have not received a response from management. I recognize that mistakes can happen, but their lack of concern for correcting their mistakes is very disappointing. If management reads this, I would encourage you to resolve the billing issue for me immediately, so that I can edit my review accordingly. I have no other way of communicating with management.

On a more positive note, I should mention that Manuel is very friendly and is a super responsible staff member who I am sure would have resolved the issue for me if he was present at the time.

Tried this gym out today and it's waaaaay cleaner than my home gym on Vineyard and 60fwy. People actually clean up after themselves and I see the staff sanitizing as well. Cable attachments aren't all over the place and the equipments are actually working. Hopefully it stays this way and not only because its new.

I’m a little disappointed with this planet fitness I came in ready for a workout and almost immediately got approached for having a gym bag and wearing Birkenstocks. For a place that’s meant to be judgement free I felt really judged. This is a gym after all and I came in simply to workout in a respectful manor. Now I know where I won’t be working out at least.

This isn’t my “home gym” but since May it’s been my go-to location. I normally go evenings and the staff is great. They make their rounds and make sure everything is cleaned up. Because this is a new location everything is still in good condition with the exception of the back hyperextension bench. That bench has been jammed and I’m too tall for what it’s set at so it a bit disappointing. A man at the gym tried to help me out with setting it up but he couldn’t get it to work either. Aside from that bench, I haven’t noticed any faulty equipment. The restrooms and locker area & spa are kept clean. The showers are clean too but the water is freezing! I’ve had workouts during my work break so I’ve had to jump in the shower & my god that water woke me right up! It’s not my favorite but I needed to wash up so I didn’t really have a choice but to deal with.

I've been a member of Planet Fitness in Rancho Cucamonga for a few months now, and I am thoroughly impressed with the experience. The gym is always clean and well-maintained, with a variety of equipment that is in excellent condition. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or needs.

One of the highlights for me is the Judgement Free Zone atmosphere. It's refreshing to work out in an environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported, regardless of their fitness level. The Black Card membership is definitely worth it, providing access to massage chairs, tanning beds, and guest privileges, which adds a lot of value.

They don't want to give me back my money even though they never opened when they were suppose to....it was like 3 months later they opened.,.....I went by religiously after I had paid them and got no response. Un ethical business. I joined in December with the expectation the gym would open in the beginning of the year. Keep driving by for three months still closed. I thought my membership wasn't activated because of whatever problem they were having opening. Yesterday I was charged 49 annual fee and was charged for April and may. I have never stepped foot in the gym. I contacted Patricia Herrera the district manager requesting these funds be refunded, to which she said I will not be getting any refund. This is poor and unethical business practice.

Brand new!! Newest equipment of any planet fitness I've been to. Digital rep counters on a lot of the equipment. The space is really well utilized and thought out. If you go to multiple PFs, this is one of the ones that will not allow bags on the floor... kind of a nuisance, but overall, it's not a big deal.

The employees are nice. But the reason I got when I told them when I took a shower, it was freezing cold. Then when I'm done with an ice cold shower, I go into to get dressed, and there is a flood on the floor (poor drainage or no drainage), and my dirty clothes fell on the floor and I had to throw my pants away because there were soaking wet. What a disappointment for a new club. Maybe fix the hot water issue so your members can enjoy a nice shower. Needless to say, I'll never visit again .

Went to check out this Planet Fitness today the gym was really clean, staff was cleaning when I arrived. The layout and how the equipment is spread out is really good they even have two weight sections which should help when they’re busy. Had a good workout and staff was nice.

Went with my mom, to check out this gym, since it has recently opened. The GM was very rude, to my mom, whom arrived before me, which I didn't know at the time. Then the GM was very rude to me as I checked in. Demanded that I retake a picture, that I've already taken, with my membership, I got in person. Then I stood there, waiting for her to confirm that picture process was done. I waited and waited. She went on to help another staff member, with other customer that walked in, making a purchase. Several minutes went by, my mom left at this point, upset at the rude/vagueness/ disregard of the GM. I decided to go ahead and continue waiting. The GM says, "OH did you need something?" I say, "I'm waiting for you to finish the picture process." She apologies non-chalantly.

I get to the shower. Turn it on. It had 2 temperatures, freezing cold and very cold. I thought well maybe it takes a second to warm up. I didn't have time to get all the way home and back to work, so I braved through it. Shower took maybe 6 minutes, cold the entire time, not another soul in the restroom. I then go to the mirrors, toilet area. Floor flooded in over a half inch to 3/4 inch of water.

First impression, horrible, and that was my experience, then I spoke with my mom, who had a bad experience, which is why she had left in a hurry. Retrain the GM lady, fix the bathrooms, and then try reopening, because for a launch this was terrible.

I won't be back and for $300/year, I can go to any other gym, with more amenities, and working restrooms.
