The facility is very clean when I'm in it the equipment looks like it's all state-of-the-art real nice equipment everything I haven't used all the perks of having the black card membership but I'm going to talk about the hours it says it's open 24 hours a day well that's not true, review their hours there's a couple days are open for 24 hours there's also a couple days when they're only open for like 10 hours. Then the black card membership brags you can use any gym that planet fitness has throughout the continental United States and other surrounding countries also comes with a catch you can only go to a out-of-town one 10 a month that is not what the advertised but that's what they do to you I rated a four because yes the equipment is there the cleanliness is there but the word of their their honor of their words are not there.

My brother is on the heavier side, and he receives attitude from staff every time he walks in. We don't see anyone else being treated this way when they walk in, and it's hard to think it's not because of his weight. He can't even ask for help on how to use the equipment. This is the worst PF. LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! Haven’t been able to experience it during the day, but I’m a regular at night. Staff is absolutely amazing! Super accommodating and kind! Orlando, Sarah and Nicole are all quick to greet members and wish us a good day on the way out. They make me feel seen! I came to this PF because the location in Redding now has the worst hours you've ever seen from a gym. This facility is not only WAY cleaner, but much higher in quality. Sure a few machines had the resistance dail broken but the machines were still nicer than Redding. This location also has the 30 min workout and a much nicer hip ab and stretching area. Honestly doesnt even feel like the same company compared to Redding. I'll be changing my "home club" to her ASAP

I'm constantly giving them more money more late fees. They keep telling me I can use the facility over the phone and when I get there I'm turned away because my paydays are different. I understood them turning me away that first time I was 3 months behind. But now I have no grace period, it's always the graveyard shift. I'm in tears because I know they like to say yes just pay in a few days with the late fees over the phone. But when I get there 15 minutes later they say no you can't come in. I'm being done so very wrong,. I would love to replace the graveyard female who is bullying me. This is a real thing, I'm not a dramatic shit starter. What is up with these shower curtains that leave a massive gap on either side. It’s like they remodeled to make the shower stalls larger but didn’t have any budget left for new cheap plastic curtains. Called to ask about tractor-trailer truck parking and was surprised to hear they allowed overnight parking! Perfect pit stop for me while on the road.
Plenty of stores to shop at within 10min walk.

As traveler passing through, across the country, including AK, I've use my black level membership close to daily. This is the first time since 2018 I checked in and no one greeted me. The employee at the counter didn't even look up from his phone. The gym is small but well organized. I gave a three star because it is exceptionally clean in the locker room, particularly the showers. I observed two employees, one from the front counter, walked around, but did nothing about the people in the 30 minutes just sitting talking across equipment or using equipment at random. When I was ready to go in that location, there were three women still sitting and visiting. Two others randomly using machines. I did the first, but the woman at the second was still there, using it, but much longer than the circuit. Frustrated, I ended my workout seeing I'd do only half and not in order. Planet Fitness, even the best, need to deal with this. I wasn't the only one who left either. Using the machines, in order matters to those of us serious about the 30 minutes workout.

I’ve been a member of planet fitness for over 5 years. I’ve chosen to go to the Red Bluff location as opposed to Redding because it was always cleaner, feels larger, never crowded and just a nicer gym and closer to me. But I can’t stand it now. For the last two months they don’t run the AC or don’t keep it even remotely cool. It has been at near or above 80 degrees INSIDE the gym. On some days it’s cooler outside. It is kinda rediculous. Because of this, I now to choose to drive farther to the Redding location, even though it is always packed, and not as nice. This makes me sad.

Love coming here! The workers are so nice! Just make sure to wipe down equipment before and after use! I see so many people not doing that and its gross🤮
Another side note is to bring shower shoes if you're using the shower. The showers are often dirty, I saw a hair on the wall and hair ties on the ground that were there for 5 days straight! Usually everywhere else is clean though!

If I could give a zero I would. One when you join they don't tell you before paying that your guest has to be at least 13 with an adult or 14 without one. My daughter is 12 and they wouldn't let her come in with me yet I was told by others that they have seen babies and young kids with their moms on the treadmills. The girl working the desk was snooty and rude. I asked why that wasn't stated anywhere when I signed up she said it's in the contract well the contract you don't sign until your first time inside. Then when you ask about canceling oh well they will let you but wait to tell you until you cancel it's going to be a few weeks before you see your refund. Really so not a family place. Or maybe it is for certain people just not all they pick and choose. They say the age thing is on the agreement you sign but when you sign up online you don't do the agreement until you go your first time this should be in bold online when you sign up.

By far the worst company to trust with your personal information. I was furious to find out that a friend of my daughter who is homeless needed a free place for she and her boyfriend to shower, she was able to sign up for 2 separate memberships with very little effort using only my account and routing number. I only found out when my account was charged $50 for memberships I never signed up for. When trying to contact the gym to get this resolved I was told that I would have to speak with a manager but one was not available. I was told they wouldn't be in until 5 am Monday morning because they didn't work weekends. So I set my alarm to wake up extra early to catch one. Only to be told they actually wouldn't be in until 8 am. But come 8 am still nobody was available to talk to me. After about a week of trying I was finally able to reach someone but to no surprise they were less than helpful and were very rude. When I asked how it could be possible for someone to sign up so easily using only basic information and an account and routing number without ever ever requiring any sort of photo ID. I was told that it could be done either online or through their app. I then I asked how it would be possible for these people to even use the membership or even attend the gym without having to show some kind of proof of identity first? Apparently these fraudsters could attend any of the gym locations besides the location they listed when signing up and be able to walk right in and use the membership with no questions asked or ever having to show ID. I was completely flabbergasted. Even though I was not the one who signed up and have never even stepped foot into any of their locations they were going to be keeping my money and if I wanted it back then I would have to dispute it with my bank. Which is exactly what I did but only to find out that it could take up to 6 months before I can even get my money back. My husband and I are both elderly and disabled and with living on social security you can't afford to lose $50. But this place could care less. Yes folks apparently all you need to sign up is very minimal information and a routing and account number. So any homeless person off the street can shower regularly for free while costing you dearly. And it amazes me that planet fitness does nothing to prevent this kind of thing from happening and continues to allow this type of behavior to continue. Deplorable.

I moved during the pandemic while the location was closed. I have tried working with the location to cancel my membership. I sent them a letter like they requested, they ‘never got it’. Been a fan of Planet Fitness for a long time. Just a bit disappointed that there are so many Elliptical machines and not one Arc trainer. The Arc burned way more calories than any cardio machine I can use due to arthritis in the knees. I sure do miss that machine!!

Yes! Finally they open!! I love how its 24 hours cause I get off at work 2am. It's perfect to go straight to the gym after work and sleep in! No more trying to wake up early to get a good work out and do daily task. I will say the gym seems too be little crowded with equipment and I cant imagine with people there during the day. Personally I think its worth it especially getting the black card. Of course planet fitness does have STRICT RULES which its alright! I just like to get a good work out! Would I recommend? DEFINITELY YES! The location is so convenient! You have Wal-Mart, raleys, Ross, Marshall, gamestop etc. So super close! They do have free Pizza 1st of Monday every month!
