I recently joined this gym because it’s close to home. The staff is courteous, and the equipment is fairly new. Overall, I’ve had a good experience. My only suggestion would be to keep the men’s room cleaner during rush hours, as it seems the staff is often focused on the front desk or wiping down equipment, and the restrooms don’t get as much attention. Otherwise, it’s a great place to work out, and there’s plenty of parking.

Was looking for a gym convenient and close to my house and easy to get in and out. This place has it all! Monique at the front desk made it very easy to sign up! Very knowledgeable and treats you like family. Kerron was very helpful over the phone signing up for classes! Highly recommend this gym! Customer for life now!

Bathroom showers are horrible! Most are broken! They’re filthy I don’t think they get cleaned at all as I’ve seen the same bandaid on the floor for over a week. There was actual crap in a shower stall and always hair everywhere. The showers are always cold and become extremely hot when someone uses the toilet. Other than that the place and staff are great

I just made my review yesterday im tbh a nobody but if simple shit like this happens to me a nobody imagine the younger crowd, tbh I don't even know the guy and ask him for name and didn't want to I have second video and managers number. Tbh i grew up down the street and try my best to look out, I understand im not at best but dam I do my part. All respect and love be safe out there.

I like the fact they offer no commitment option so I can cancel anytime without incurring a fee. They don't try to sell me random stuff, they don't bother people at all. Though I think the music is unnecessary and shouldn't be played out loud. It's annoying

I’ve been coming to this Planet Fitness for a while, and I have to say, it’s one of the best gyms I’ve been to. It’s always clean, smells fresh, and the restrooms are spotless. Everyone minds their own business and respects each other’s space, which makes working out here really comfortable. The one thing that throws me off is the big screen constantly showing ads for fast food burgers, donuts, fries… you name it. It’s front and center, you can’t miss it. And right after that, I’ll see ads for weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro. Lately, there’s also been a lot of heavy, negative news on the screens. It’s kind of ironic and distracting, especially when people come here to relieve stress and work toward feeling better. Other than that, this location has a great vibe and it’s a solid place to stay focused and healthy.

Love planet fitness but the last thing I need is all the tv’s showing news channels about ice raids and bombings when I’m trying to run. I workout as an escape, not to witness more of what I wanna not think of, ESPECIALLY in this political climate

Kid cleaning the bathroom on Sunday
Shut down the entire bathroom and every shower at the same time. Asked him for how long and he gave some smartass response as to how long it takes. Most of the staff are nice and helpful like the Mexican boy at the front who always nice. But this one really got me today Workout and can't use any toilet or shower? Who hires people to let bratty kids to work with customers and ruin the business reputation?

Staff is so awesome. Management does a great job. Always friendly to us. Clean gym. Great weights. I enjoy going there as a competitive bodybuilder. It gives me all the tools I need and the black card room is awesome. Keep up the good work.

I have formerly been a member of planet fitness. it's nice to finally have one in my neighborhood on Tyler. I do appreciate the dress code posted , but witnessed a customer clearly dressed inappropriate accordingly. I did bring it to the workers attention but they did nothing , just acted as if I was doing something wrong. I do appreciate working out without seeing semi nude customers. Thank you, this was between 7 and 9 am on March 18th at the Tyler location in Riverside

I’ve been to Planet Fitness before so I already knew there wasn’t gonna be an issue with cleanliness. Obviously this is a brand new location so it’s spotless and beautiful and honestly it wasn’t even as full as I thought it was going to be. Glad they opened up nearby because the competitors have honestly gone down the drain around here.

I live 2 blocks away, I've only been twice but the Black Card membership's definitely a deal. I did a 35 minute jog on the treadmill last night and finished with munching on 5 of the free grape Tootie Rolls they have up front while I got a 10 minute hydromassage. The massage was great and the Tootie Rolls are a nice extra.

Also the price of the stuff behind the counter isn't bad. I bought a lock for the lockers and a hand towel and it was around $10.
