It’s a hit or miss exercising here.

It’s annoying when focusing on the workout and someone uses covert nonverbal communication to cause a disturbance. It’s especially annoying when a female interferes with watching tv as part of the focus on the workout.

The gym itself is nice, clean and well maintained.
The reason for the 2 star is because the staff brought mcdonalds and set up a table right by the front desk.
Eating fries while people are actively seeking to better their health is wild.
Probably could be chalked up to good initiative but poor judgment. Just seemed very inconsiderate to do that right infront of the treadmills.

I really like planet fitness. The machines let me workout alone, and although I've not hear the lunk alarm, grunts and shit are uncommon(I dont really care about grunts) the part that makes it cool is how respectful everyone is of each other. True stretch cage>Seated Row>Leg Press best feels there in that order

My backpack was stolen from a locked locker. Staff let several non-members go inside of the locker room unaccompanied and they brake my lock. Management denied my request to settle it down without the court.

I had a Karen movement here when a customer wanted me to leave a machine for her from the 30 minute workout section because I wasn’t going in order like you’re supposed to however she specifically asked me based on my color and she was too chicken to ask a man who was doing the same as well and complained to the staff and the staff also told me I’m not supposed to go off order which is funny because that gym is always so full and if I wait for every machine to go in order I would have to be there for hours.

I had to cancel before I was to pay the $49. annual fee, and, after paying the first 2 months of $15 per month for a total of $30, and only using the location 1 time, I was told I still had to pay the $49 payment for the next whole year. No way to cancel unless that $49 is paid. This is hardball but I suppose it is all in the docs you have just a few minutes to review as you sign up front. I found out that I was unable to continue to work out there, and needed to cancel, so I got 1 visit and I am out $79 total in costs. I called and asked if the $49 was waive-able or at least prorated but the answer was a no. Not too happy about the inflexibility but I guess that is what the review system is for.

Awful experience. I moved 2 hours away and tried canceling my membership but they make you write a letter or walk in to cancel. Seriously??? So stupid. And they said they're gonna charge me even though I drove 2 hours to cancel it. Now I have to change my checking account info so they dont get that money from me! Super horrible experience here.

I'm very comfortable with everything about this gym, showers, machines, staff, is so polite and friendly. I was a member of "Granite Bay Fitness" many times, the desk staff is asleep on the desk and it's dirty and in disrepair showers are blocked off and the Ada shower seat is broken down. It's a dump compared to Planet Fitness .

The front desk staff was very rude and unprofessional. They refused to let me into the gym because my home location is Rocklin and insisted on charging a $5 fee. However, I have visited this location multiple times without any issues. The way the staff handled the situation was unacceptable, and I hope management addresses this.

Great price but they will not turn NFL Games on. Kids at Front Desk doesn’t like Football. When I asked hime to turn a game on one of the 16 television's, he says he is not allowed to change the Television, while texting on his phone. Just plain Laziness!

Scam alert......I set my membership up on bill pay, every month I am charged $30 for late fees month after month and they won't fix it. So far they owe me $120, so I quit and they are still charging for December. The manager says I have to talk to Corporate and Corporate says I need to talk to the manager. I called my bank regarding this, some random guy commented the Planet Fitness is a scam. SCAm

I've been going to the gym for over 30 years and this is the best gym I've ever been to. Whether you just want to keep in shape or you're in training to compete, they have it all. A wonderful staff, and such a clean gym. All equipment is kept in good working order. Plus for a little extra a month, you can be a black card guest and have access to massage chairs, tanning beds, hydromassage, use of total body enhancement, and more! Just too much to name. The price is the best part. $10 a month, or $25 a month for the gym and the black card membership. I love it!

Although they don't have a lot of free weights, the weight machines here are the best around, and I've done free trials at most of the other gyms in the area. Besides being good machines, they're all in working order and there's not much wait for one. It's very purple in here, which is a tad obnoxious. All in all, unless you're looking to lift heavy free weights, you get an awful lot of bang for your buck here.

Just joined this location. My new lock from Ace hardware was stuck and I could not get into my locker. I was shocked to see that the staff was not upset and did not even charge me to remove the lock. They gave me a new lock. Thank you manager and polite staff. I have witnessed other gyms yelling at women that could not get their locks to open including a $25 charge. TY!

My husband and I were working out at this planet fitness he came out first waited for me by our car (not looking in windows , touching the car but simply standing by (OUR) car) a nosy and obvious very bored seeking entertainment Karen calls the police and says he looks like he stealing or breaking in our car. This woman is walking around escorted by the police as if she’s saved the day very very proud to have called on us. The police came checked out his story that was TRUE impolitely handed my drivers license back to me . Otherwise The gym is great! and provides a very comfortable environment .

The wife and I are early birds. Mornings work great. Very piece of workout equipment has how to use instructions on it. Showing how to use and what area and muscle you'll be working and use the hot water massage beds are great for the next day soreness.
