I met an employee Logan today. Sunday 11-16-25.
He is a hard working guy. Was cleaning the equipment. But not half ckeaning it. He cleaned to to bottom. So I as a customer can enjoy and appreciate my workout
It sucks when people don't wipe the dust bunnies and grim off of the machines.
Or the edges of the floors have dust. Where you can't do pushups without breathing that in.

Planet Fitness has good facilities with plenty of exercise machines, and I enjoy working out there. However, the management could be improved. The gym often allows homeless individuals to use the facilities, and I’ve seen some occupy the shower rooms for long periods after showering. I also experienced a billing issue — I was overcharged for one month, and neither the local management nor the upper management took responsibility. Unfortunately, the problem was never resolved.

I love visiting the planet fitness gyms all across the country as I travel for work.

Planet Fitness RnD Department of your reading this please look into tracking your workouts. I noticed some of the machines were tracking my reps and time! I asked an employee if there was a barcode to scan in the PF app that would track that machines workout for me in a log on my profile so I can track reps/weight/rest time as I go and have a log to look back on to track my progress!!!!!

I’m sure more people would use this feature!
I understand busy and it maybe a feature that can be added for an additional cost to the membership but I think people would use it!

I am writing to share my experience at the Natomas, CA location, which ultimately led me to cancel my membership on the spot today, September 1,2025.
In July, my annual fee of $49 could not be collected because the account on file did not have enough funds. That account is not my main account, and I simply forgot to transfer the money. Meanwhile, Planet Fitness successfully withdrew my monthly fees for July and August, so I believed everything was current. When I went in this morning to pay the $49 fee, I asked if the $15 late fee could be waived. Despite my long history as a paying member, the manager immediately refused, showing zero willingness to consider my payment history or loyalty. That lack of basic customer care was enough for me to cancel my membership immediately. On top of that, the Natomas location has consistently lagged behind other Planet Fitness gyms:

-The stair masters and cardio equipment are often broken or barely functional.
-The water was recently out, and members received no compensation or even acknowledgment for the inconvenience.
-Unlike other Planet Fitness gyms that have been upgraded, this location feels neglected and poorly maintained.

Between the refusal to waive a small fee, the disregard for long-time members, and the lack of care in maintaining the facilities, it’s clear that member satisfaction is not a priority at this club. Planet Fitness not only lost my $49 fee but also my membership over $15. I will be sharing this experience across my social media platforms so others can see how this location and your brand treats loyal members.

I’m here now….and I just wanted to take a moment to write this, there’s 2 people here working out that are completely(assuming) blind with walking sticks and not letting any obstacles hold them back. It’s by far one of the most inspiring things I’ve ever seen. I wish I had the courage to walk up to them and tell them, but I got all choked up thinking about. Great gym. Nice people working there. A few cuties working the front desk ❤️ the equipment is limited as there are no flat bench presses. Dumbells only up to 75 etc. But over all it has everything u need for any workout. Great atmosphere, friendly members. Everyone seems to show respect. It can get a bit crowded at times ,after school is out. Or on weekends its pretty busy. Is this location going to get the new machines ive been hearing about ?? Fairly small building, so there aren't any classes (yet) or aquatic amenities. I have been a member of planet fitness on and off for years now. I sign up for the 30 min workout, and usually quit because I get tired of wading through the campers in the 30 min workout area.

Today I brought it up to Gio, and he went back and kindly addressed it with everyone.

Incredibly spacious and well-maintained Planet Fitness that leaves little room for improvement. I have been to numerous Planet Fitnesses over the years and this is good as it gets. The only nicer one I can think of is the PF off Southport in National City.

One area for improvement I might offer would be to use the ample open space slightly better - there’s a lot of open space at this PF that I feel could be better used with additional equipment (leg press, benches, etc.). Although a very minor thing that I’m sure boils down to cost/preference from a business standpoint. Great job and a “well done” to the owners. Very impressed with this PF

3 different stretching/ private work out rooms at the far side. Thick mats for floor work. Lots of disinfectant spray bottles/paper towels 🧻 to pre-post- wipe downs.
Lot's of people using them, as well as staff, walk thru machines, wiping too.

This gym is in a convenient location; however, it is dirty and I rarely see anyone cleaining. The Total Body Enhancement machine is gross and it could use a deep clean. The gym equipment is old compared to other PF locations that invested in modern PF machines. For the inexpensive cost for the Black Membership, I do not want to be overly critical but there is no excuse for the unsanitary conditions. There are too many cardio machines that go unused besides being older models. This gym could use more weight machines instead of trying to spread out the limited cable, Smith and leg press machines to fill up the floor space. Why not invest and add more machines to the area? The Browns Valley Vacaville location has set the bar high for my expectations of a PF gym. It would be great if the Natomas location can do better in the noted areas.

I have been going to this gym for a few years and recently it has went downhill. The staff are not friendly and don't greet you when you come in or its a half hearted attempt.

The worst thing is one of the staff members wants to play their favorite rap music continuously. If you try to play a song they will make Rockbot skip your song or they delete your selections. They just vanish. Now I have to wear earbuds and turn up streaming music to drown it out. My wife has complained about the rap music but nobody cares.

I forgot to add this review last week when I was there at the gym in the planet fitness in north Natomas, I was highly impressed by the cleanliness and overall look specially in the men’s locker room which I later discovered was carried out by DIANE!!! working in the customer service industry I was blown away at how friendly and how clean she keeps that gym all night!

Few nights I witnessed first hand at how clean it was and a few other in the early mornings at how presentable it looked! It is people like here that continue to make me a loyal member of this Gym!! I enjoyed this gym pre covid when it was a new location. Now it’s overcrowded and the crowd meter on the app is not accurate.

The cons: VERY crowded 6am until 11pm, Monday-Wednesday. ELEVEN PM. No bench. No squat racks. The memes and videos you see of crazy people doing weird workouts at pfit is real. An abnormal amount of people here don’t wear deodorant and the smell is very pungent. The bathroom has always been in poor shape, even on the slow days. When are you going to put up another clock? Hasn’t been replaced since the last one broke.

The pros: Clean gym throughout. Price is spot on. Staff is attentive and friendly. Temperature is always kept at a perfect degree. You don’t have loud coaches or classes. You now offer energy drinks, which is good. Keep them in stock!

Natomas is overcrowded and I’m just wondering if you will start limiting new memberships? I doubt it, which is why I have to deduct it 1 star. Plus, other planet fitness gyms in the area have cleaner bathrooms.

Was considering getting a membership here as | iust moved to Sacramento. Came in around 10pm 04/26. Asked how to go about a free trial before I went ahead with the membership. Diane was at the front counter and was very snarky and unfriendly during the process. Got very upset at me for not having my ID on me and when I returned after getting it out of my car made a rude comment about not looking my age. Nothing wrong with requiring ID for a free trial but the way she explained it and went through the process with me was extremely snarky and unhelpful. Gym wasn't too crowded, everything was clean and seemed like a good environment to get a workout in. Malísima primer y única experiencia, solo estaré unas semanas en Sacramento ,Ilea la chica que me atendió fue muy grosera, me quitó la hoja de información al decirle que mi tarjeta de débito y de crédito son de México que no podía ser miembro de este gimnasio, un verdadero acto de racismo y clasismo, nunca volveré ni a mirar comerciales de este tipo de negocios.

Worst gym on the planet. This inclusive gym hates serious athletes and makes sure not to include any equipment they like. No barbells, dumbbells too light, no heavy bag, you're not allowed to film yourself, and they also lie in their advertisements about having everything you need in a gym and saying they have equipment for every workout. At this point I realized the gym had even became a literal meme. 1/10 gym. If you want to pay money to drain all your strength and muscles, this is the gym for you!

I'm confused as to why I am not payed a wage for doing all the work for the reception desk. If I have to sign up me and a guest, then I should definitely be getting paid. Are the computers for decoration?

La verdad andaba buscando un lugar asi como este, es un lugar muy agradable para ejercitarme y después darse una ducha, el personal muy amable, buena honda y atentos en todo momento, y apesar de que no hablo inglés se dieron el tiempo para estar traduciendo la conversación.

The manager at this location lady with tattoos is extremely proficient and effective she always cleaning and giving detail to machinery and have and outstanding costumer service last year I went to resolve an issue with my profile and she resolve it in a matter of minutes out of all the planet fitness around the county this is one of my favorites just because of the costumer service thank you very much for helping

Least favorite of all the PFs In this region. Bathrooms dirty, multiple machines broken, and dispensers empty. Patrons don't wipe the machine down behind them but that's not the club's fault. I'll drive a little farther and skip this one in the future

Always clean. Hat's off to those individuals who keep it clean and tighty every day. Very friendly staff, great customer service. Equipment is always in top working condition. I have been to plenty of gyms where something is almost always out of service, not here.

It’s a good gym and clean, it can be busy at times and the weights get full but there still usually a machine open. Only complaint is they don’t have barbells and squat racks and the smith machine has been broken for a month now and they haven’t fixed it. Other than that it’s great for the price. 5/5 would recommended

Negative experience with a newer and older woman today. Rude attitude with me about my membership which ended up being a mistake on her end. Will take note of her name next time and feel sorry for the younger lady working with her during this shift that clearly felt the opposite and wanted to let us have a workout.
