I've been a member of Planet Fitness since 2019, and this has truly become my home gym. Yes, it can get crowded, especially between 5 PM and 7 PM, and during the summer when school is out. For me personally, I've been at this gym for quite some time so I know when and when not to go.

Over the years, there have been many upgrades that keep this location in line with other PF gyms, which I really appreciate. I've tried switching to other gyms for more amenities, but I realized I didn't need the extra features, and I always come back to Planet Fitness because it fits my needs perfectly.

I want to especially recognize and praise Adrion Haramoto for his outstanding customer service. Even though there isn’t a trainer on the floor, when Adrion is around, he's the go-to person for advice and support, often going above and beyond his duties. He truly deserves a raise for his dedication and professionalism. Thanks, Adrion, for making this gym a better place!

Smell horrible . Young staff is rude . I walk up to the counter and ask to use hydro bed and to buy a water bottle . He said only one or another. Because he was helping someone else and that I’m bothering him . I WAS IN LINE WAITING . he came up to me . I told him how dumb he his saying I interrupted him when he came up to me . While I understand that high-traffic facilities can face challenges, my experience here was disappointing. The men's restroom often had an unpleasant odor, and the showers were not well-maintained. During peak hours and evenings, the facility became overcrowded, making it difficult to access lockers or find space to change. I was a member for two years but, given these consistent issues, I do not plan to renew my membership.

I started exercising here with encouragement, but about $300 was taken from my account in two and a half months, while the monthly fee was $15. When I registered on the first day, they asked for my bank account and set up an automatic payment for me. But when the money was deducted from my account, I went to them and they said it was a problem with the system, we will send your money back to you. When they deducted about $85 from my account again in the second month, I went to ask why, and they said this is not our mistake they again blame on system and they directly told me that we can’t refund your money, finally I canceled my membership.

Great staff, but let’s talk about this parking lot. I usually don’t write negative reviews but this place looks like three garbage trucks pulled up, exploded, and called it a day. I’m from New York, and even I’ve never seen a lot this disgusting.

The trash has been there so long that cups and bags have fused with the pavement—at this point, it’s a landmark. How hard is it to send someone out with a trash picker? It’s repulsive, and I won’t be back since they can’t do their part to keep California clean. Wheres the owner? Manager? Keep SF in SF

I have been with this location as my home gym since January 2023. They have always been super helpful especially when I have any issue with the app when I'm accessing other locations. Every time I call in, they are super courteous, and helpful. In particular today, Michael helped me update my account information and Carrie, the night time lead, was amazing in providing detailed solutions to help me overcome the obstacles encountered when using the slow planet fitness app, She took the time to explain to me what she did, she provided detailed information to reassure me that my account was updated in a way that will reflect across regional locations, and provided documentation that my payment had gone through. This call, in my opinion, is an example of customer service excellence.

I come here a few times a week and usually my experience is good. My only complaint is that they have the news on more than half of the TVs at all times. It's really bothersome to feel like I can never get a break from the news. When I exercise on the treadmills, I always find it to be a depressing distraction. I wish they had a couple different channels on besides the news. It's the biggest reason why I'm considering changing to a different gym. The staff and the facility is great. But I really wish they would at least replace two of the TVs with different programming. I come to the gym to relax/disconnect with the news- I hope this is something that can be fixed.

I go to your gym 5 days a week, Dee is there 3 of those days. I have never seen him leave his stool while Kerri is running her behind off. Every day I come in I use the total body for 12 minutes before my workout. Every time Dee is working he has to ask me for how long? All the other employees have a memory and know, 12 minutes.
He called her to the register to find the "cash" button!!!
Please find a better employee who needs that job. All Dee talks to everyone about his how much money and things he has.

Arrived here at 1:48, it's 3:59 now as I am writing this review. Toilets are still filthy, covered in feces and urine. I had to pick the less dirty one and clean it with hand sanitizer. Two workers up front, moved around but never saw them cleaning or walking around checking the trash or equipment. Trash every where you walk. This is the most disgusting PF I have ever been in. I will return because it's open 24/7 but I will bring some bleach for that nasty bathroom. Do better!

I would like to share with all PF members who have back, shoulder, knee or feet issues, please don’t think that you need to cancel your membership. Me personally, I have back, shoulder, knee and feet issues so I’m unable to use any of the equipment except for some light free weights and the “Total Body Enhancement Machine” (TBEM) or also known as the “Beauty Angel Machine” and I can’t give this machine enough praise, within a 45 day period, going to the gym 3-5 days a week, using the TBEM for only 12min per session (max time), 1 session a day, sometimes 2 a day, I had began noticing muscle tone changes in my arms, my buttocks, my legs and stomach! Now mind you I’m almost 60yrs old and due to chronic back pain, I’ll never be able to return to working out like I used to and I’m so very grateful for the TBEM, it not only tones your muscles but it also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles due to the red light therapy! I recommend you do your research on these red light therapy, stress reducing, muscle toning machines that look like a stand up tanning bed and try one as they’re not only for individuals with injuries or disabilities 👍🏼.

I'll give this place a three, it reminds me of a garage gym. There is no wet area, no swimming pool, no spa, no steam room. For the beginner. This would be a good gym, for the real Jim go. I would suggest going to 24 Hour Fitness or another gym that has a large assortment of machines and wet areas to use.

I stopped going due to plantar fasciitis. They let me cancel without any issues giving that explanation in a letter. Their system has improved where one can cancel themselves by logging in to the website. They have updated their treadmills to have larger displays for ease of use. The black card membership does provide tanning beds or standing, massage lying down, or sitting massage chairs, etc. The ladies restroom has been well maintained, but be careful when you use the toilet, they self-flush. It's a comfy place to get a long, or quick work out. My pet peeve, no hula hoops, jump ropes, or outside equipment is allowed (liability issues). A good environment with friendly people both the customers and employees. *They do sell bottled water, Gatorade, energy, and protein drinks. A variety of tanning lotions are also sold here.

Timed tanning beds (lying down). My suggestion from my first experience is learn how to use the controls so you can manage the heat settings and listen to music for a better experience. I forgot my eye protection and told the employee that... he kindly handed me stickers to place over my eyelids. Next time, I'll make sure to learn and be comfortable using the tanning bed. It felt like 110° and I wasn't able to adjust it as the machine turned on before I had a chance to cover my R eye. I got burned by the tanning bed. That's my two cents worth.

I am giving this place two stars because the male restroom/ showers are typically disgusting. Dirt on the ground. Gross toilets. Showers look like they have grit and grime all over. I have even found used band aides in shower stalls. I have complained but nothing happens. I go to Planet Fitness’s all over the US (I’m a truck driver). If I could have given a ZERO I would have. My experience with this location has been Horrible. The facility itself is often unkempt. However the FINAL blow was their illegal billing practices. My account is setup for automatic payments on a credit card with a zero balance as I never use it. I was not charged for the month of March but in April I was charged a late fee. I canceled my membership two weeks ago. Today I attempted to speak with a manager and was told two things my membership had not been canceled and there was no way to receive reimbursement for the incorrectly assessed late fee. I was given another # to call stating I would be able to receive assistance from this person. Of course I received a voice-mail that appeared to be a personal number as it was not setup with a greeting to let you know who you had contacted.

In all honesty it is planet fitness. First of all, good location. Might look tough but never had any problems. But I will say, I have experience some horrible people with no manners. I been to many gyms but the teenagers here have no awareness of space. Furthermore, during peak gym hours it does smell heavily of BO. I honestly downgraded my membership from Cal Fit to the lower OnePass tier that included Planet Fitness, Crunch, and Anytime. Planet is fine if I make it there early in the morning. I showed up after 5pm once and it was havoc. I’ve been to other PF locations but for some reason this one lacks the most gym etiquette.

Mostly people new to the US I guess and working out. I tend to go early so it doesn’t bother me so much. I’d say this isn’t the gym for serious lifters who like more Olympic style gyms. I prefer that too but this place is a stone’s throw from my house and gives my a lot more time to workout in the morning and head back home.

It’s got two floors. The top floor has some dumbbells and all of the smith machines along with cardio equipment.

The second floor has more calisthenics and CrossFit type stuff along with the core workout machines and some more leg workout machines.

Again, if you show up later in the day you will see squads of rookies camping out at one machine and people doing the only social media workouts they know. Just a fair warning. If you can get up at 4am and make it in there bright and early you will be just fine.

The staff is generally very friendly.

There are a ton of new machines that they put in recently but for some reason they are a little slow to fix the resistance issues with their assisted squat racks.
