It was a long day at work and all I wanted was a hot shower and a place to catch my breath. I walked into the men’s locker room and it was immaculate and smelled fresh and clean. I believe the attendant in the locker room was named Xavier and you could tell he had worked hard on keeping the locker room clean !! Great Job Xavier !!!

Amazing gym! The place was clean and the staff were all super friendly. Amy was a rockstar. She was able to help me sign up for a membership and made sure I understood all of the benefits I would receive. She also gave me a tour, which was incredibly nice of her! I just go there to shower and change clothes. So for me the best time to go is in the wee morning hours (2am-4am) because it's pretty much empty during that time. The shower and restroom areas are pretty clean when I get there. At the moment, 1 of the changing stalls (the handicapped one) doesn't have a door, which kinda sucks! Only 1 out of the 4 showers has a shower caddy to hold your shampoo/ conditioner, body wash/ soap bar, toothbrush/ toothpaste and whatever else you bring. It's a good, clean place to go. 👍

While in vacation I visited PF by the Capitol! Miss Mo, who was on staff was so helpful and a true professional. When I finished my workout, she showed me the hydro massage beds available before assigning one. I did not know there were two different types of beds. She made me feel welcome from beginning to end! This is one of the most terrible places on the planet. The last time I came here in August 2024 and asked the employee to close my membership. And in March 2025 I saw that they continue to pick up money from my card. I came and began to talk with the manager. She said: “Yes, there was a problem of our employee. now we closed your account but we will not make a refund” and the price was $ 25 every month+49 $ annual fees. Accordingly, they did not return to me $25 x9 8months = +49 $ = 249.00 $ were refused to return to me, saying that “this is your responsibility to trace your account closed”

My girlfriend came in here and had a horrible experience with one of the front desk workers. She received an email with a free guest pass and came in with her sister to redeem it. The front desk worker was extremely condescending and unhelpful. She said it wasn’t showing up on her account so “she didn’t know what to tell her” with a rude tone. The manager finally showed up to help. Another gym goer arrived as she was looking for the email for the free pass and let her use his guest pass. After that, the front desk worker acted even more upset. As my gf went to work out, she could see the guy and the front desk girl talking while the front desk girl was looking in her direction laughing. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I’ve worked in multiple different gyms as a personal trainer for the past 10 years and this is not customer service. This is belittling and makes people much less comfortable coming to a place that is already intimidating. Shame on this planet fitness for hiring a person who behaves this way. If she gets fired, I’ll remove this review.

I absolutely love the staff here at this location! They're all so friendly and always say hello, welcome in and goodbye, have a great day. It's always clean and a great temperature inside for working out. However, the hydro beds/lounges smell heavily of mold and dirty water. I felt stuffy and sick to my stomach after the end of my workouts until I stopped using the hydro massages. I now use the massage chairs instead. It's a complete health hazard to the community to continue allowing customers to use these beds. They need to be serviced immediately before it becomes a health issue to valued customers. I hope to be able to use them again soon. I've been to a lot of the planets in Sacramento and this is the only time I've ever had this issue. Also they could use some upgrading in the machines as they are all out dated and fans hardly blow air.

הצוות עצמו סביר + חלק אדיבים חלק פחות, דואגים לנקות פה אבל המון אני נתקל שסוגרים את השירותים לחצי שעה ניקוי ויש רק תא אחד לשני המינים עבור כל החדר כושר.

החדר כושר מקבל ממני דירוג נמוך בעיקר בגלל שלא מתקנים מכונות (נכון לעכשיו 4 מכשירים לא שמישים) ואין מגוון מספק של ציוד.

לזכות המכון אומר שהוא פתוח 24/7 , נקי לרוב.

I honestly feel like this location can do better in professionalism with staff and cleanliness. I can’t switch to a different location because I have the basic membership however one of the staff members decided to yell at me last night regarding the tanning booth incident that I cracked a joke about as I was walking out. I simply asked them was I violating any rules they yelled back no but that it’s not cool to say stuff like that however Friday night I cracked the same joke and they engaged in conversation with me telling me how they weren’t even aware of the incident until their sister-in-law informed them and showed them articles and things like that he also stated that it’s not fair that staff have to do extra work like logging the work being done when it’s not this locations fault there was a body found in the tanning bed my overall concern is being yelled at and bothered for cracking a joke when if he was bothered about my joke why did he engage in conversation which he started originally. Lastly I don’t understand why I’m being crucified regarding what I said when a few months ago a member at the front desk which I was also at making inappropriate remarks and statements and no one yelled at him to stop saying that no one tried to fix the situation at all but when I make a joke that’s probably already made before I’m getting treated like I’m such a bad person. Take into account I have been a member here since October 2022 and never have experienced anything like this when coming here until this year.

Worst service ever,
I provided them with my bank account and my credit card as alternate payment method in case my bank didnt process their payment for security reasons
My bank always rejects planet fitness transactions so PF always charge my credit card
everything was fine over a year then I found them charged my credit card with late fees cause my bank account didnt process their payment.
If the alternate payment method is working then why did they apply the late fees?

And they refused to refund me the money
Not only that, the manager told me we will charge you late fees every month from now on
So i canceled my membership from this stupid place

This gym is great!
My first time ever going to a gym.
Really loved the staff too. Especially a lovely lady by the name of Yvonne (I apologize if I am butchering the spelling). She assisted us after my fiancé dropped his air pod into one of the machines as well as gave us a tour of the black card membership room!

I love this gym🖤 I totally recommend it! The workers are really chill and always motivating me and always have a good vibe 10/10 for me🏆 This gym is amazing but their is a worker Jeremiah he needs to be fired as soon as possible he’s racist he lied and said me and my brother had weapons he wanted to call the police and security on us when he was in the wrong other than that this gym is amazing the other staff are friendly and always being kind the gym is always clean equipment is very good. If you workout in the mornings, bring your own speaker. Not sure why they stopped playing music and when they did have music they had the volume so low I can hear people grunt and talk. ANNOYING. It's an ok gym but now I remember why I don't like it here....everything is ALWAYS taken. Too many people go here for the amount of equipment they have. They should find a way to expand.

Edit: Quitting due to inadequate amount of equipment. I just walk around aimless because everything is taken. They need a 2nd location to relieve the pressure or add more benches and fly machines. They also don't have many cable stations. Again this is a clean and chill gym, but it's impossible to get a good workout. Get rid of all those cardio machines and add more weights. Over half the floor is all cardio equipment. Needs more balance

The gym is clean. Equipment works. Down fall to this place is that there is limited machines to do works out on. You have to wait for the use of equipment. Alot of young kids go here. I get it for the price of a membership. I wish there was more equipment to use for example there is only one (1) peck fly machine in the whole place. A ton of treadmills and elliptical machines but are never being used. It just frustrating you have to wait sometime 10 to 15 mins to use a machine and that is not even during peak hours. The staff is really friendly and greet you when you check in. I wish the owner is this place would do an assessment of what equipment members would like more of.
