All the equipments has rubber or rope in machine and that's very wired to me.
I choose 24hour fitness because their fitness equipments and all the machine are professional with actual bullies and bars.

Drove over from another local PF group Branch whose deep tissue massage machines were both out. Went over to Mack branch, taken, no issues. Both guys stinking wet get up & walk out. No bloody Thank you. Onto to 3rd club to get a decent massage. Sac PF Region, pretty lame & slacking I'd Say!
Update: Club response was to venture back in, which I have & the Mgr hasn't taken an opportunity to speak or want to. As I also left my direct contact number fir the Sr. Mgr to reach out. Instead, I get the smoke & mirror reply! That contact was indeed left, so I guess this is a blow off & no call back. Hmm,? Optics, are Great. But they do speak for the experience (s) having to go to multiple clubs in your region. Clearly, some room for improvement. Good Luck w That!

I went to Planet fitness yesterday as I do every day and a friend that I recently referred me and her was getting ready to use the massage chair. We were stopped by the Manager his name was Ben at the location on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento California. He told us that he would have to look our name up after we had already been there working out for a couple hours to look our name up to see if we were black Card members in order for us to use the massage chair and then he goes on to sit the coins on the counter when I had my hand out waiting for the coins and then I go back and I ask him for Corporate number And he tells me that my guest can’t use the massage chair She said that we both have our own memberships and I asked for Corporate again he said that he needs to look at my membership again after I already gave him my name to see if I’m a black Card member then he gives me a phone number of someone who pretended to be Corporate said they were going to give me a month free membership and never called me back the whole gym is a joke and I’m definitely canceling my membership

I am so happy with the service I got from Michelle! I had accidentally left my stuff in the locker room, so I called. Angel and Alex front head clerks at planet fitness were disrespectful and tried to lie about allowing me and my black card guest to use the hydromassage, usually the clerk in the morning is really nice and allows us to use it no problem.. angel said they only allow 1 time courtesy use but policy states they aren't entitled but they can still use i pay 25$ a month and these guys are jokes please fire them and get some nice people in here.

I commute to my work, and this gym is close to my job. The changing rooms REEK of piss, I would understand if a bathroom stall smelled like it, but a changing room? The showers have no showerhead, so the water just shoots at you. The equipment is good, there should be a little more lighting in there to be honest. But if you just come to work out, it's fine. If you have to get ready ready here, DON'T.

The one I go to is on Stockton Blvd. Near Fruitridge. The place is great! The staff is awesome. Other guests are friendly. Equipment is always clean and in working order. The locker room (women's) is always clean. We go later at night (we are both night owls) around 1030 pm. Less crowded. More access to equipment without any wait. I enjoy and look forward to going here. Despite the bad area. That is why only 3 stars. It is awful as far as being bombarded by the homeless. And there are many homeless that are fine. But there are many that tend to hang out in that area that are scary. I won't go here that late at night by myself. Have to have my husband with me. Also, the other reason for the 3 stars is because of the handicapped parking. My husband is handicapped and there are two handicapped parking spots out front. I would say that 3 out of 5 times we have gone there and headed for handicapped parking... someone who does NOT have a handicap placard or handicap license plate is always parking there. It gets very frustrating. It makes things difficult for my husband. Very annoying when people take advantage. We have told the staff and management both in the earlier hours and later hours. No change. Also, another reason for 3 stars is the security. Now this is just ridiculous because there is none! There used to be. And they were fairly good. They kept people causing issues away and watched as you walked to your car. But now there is no security at all!! There is a security car that parks at the end of the parking lot (and it moves to different places every night. So I know someone is showing up!) An empty security car. No security person is to be found. Ever. What is that? I find it very unprofessional and shameful. So the outside of the gym is the reason for the 3 stars. If I graded the inside separately, it would be 5.

I don't know if all planet fitnesses are all the same. But this one was 89% treadmills stair steppers and other cardio equipment. Almost no weight lifting equipment. Unless you're looking for a cardio workout I don't know about this place. I have a month to figure it out.

The gym itself is pretty solid for my needs, and they seem to keep it fairly clean and tidy when I've been there. Employees are friendly. But what ruins it is the dozens of TVs, which nearly every piece of equipment faces. Half of them are tuned to addictive/rage-bait/divisive political channels, and the others often play stuff designed to grab your attention whether you want to give it or not. E.g. Today there was some movie clip with a serial killer dude strangling a woman... Do people really want all this during their workout? Anyone who does could just watch on their phones. Just show reruns of The Simpsons or The Office or whatever else... I would complain about all the ads, too (seemingly way more than normal TV), but I assume that's how they keep their membership rates so low.

Despite the terrible location, I enjoyed coming here instead of my home gym because of how they set up their equipment, the cleanliness, and not as busy - this is whats saving them from a 1 star. My experience with this location, I got dress coded for wearing shorts and a tshirt, they told me to change. The confused part is when i came back, changed, there was a girl that checked in in front of me had the same length of shorts and didnt get dress coded. And i was looking at all these other ladies who also wore the SAME length of shorts inside the gym. I was so upset. This discouraged me from starting my workout and ever wanting to come back again. Felt like I was back in highschool again. Thanks, Planet Fitness Stockton, for passing judgment and body shaming instead of focusing on safety of the location or addressing the issue of homeless individuals using the facilities just to shower. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Planet Fitness front desk staff members, Eddie and Ben, need to learn how to properly deal with gym members.

I went to the front desk to request cancellation on my gym membership. Eddie told me since I missed the last day to terminate my membership, which he stated is the 10th of every month, then I'd have to pay for the following month. I began to inform him that another friendly staff member (a lady,) at the front desk checked and verbally confirmed that as long as I cancel before the 17th of April, then I should be fine. (Today being the 16th, that's why I went in.) Then another staff member, Ben, overheard the situation and asked who the lady was. I didn't know that lady's name. Then he proceeded to walk away, and expressed he couldn't do anything about it due to me not knowing the name of the staff member who assisted me at the front desk. He also stated that the contract indicates every 10th of the month is the due date to cancel. Afterwards, Eddie stated, "I know your contract was in 2021, but what the document says trumps what anybody says here." And my response to him was, "So since the front desk provides inaccurate information, then I should refer back to the contract?" Eddie replied, "That's not what I said." During our on-going conversation, he stared at his screen, then he abruptly and disrespectfully brushed away his hand to gesture for me to go away because he already cancelled my gym membership. It was rude. The situation could've been handled better. Now, I will never go back to that location.

5 stars but that’s as of fall 2023, and that’s for the early birds who get there at 5am. Before the other Chuzi gym opened this place used to be a lot busier so I didn’t come, but now it’s much better, I no longer wait for machines as often and this place is always clean, friendly staff, and great equipment (much better than the 24 hour fitness gyms).

I would post good comments seeing how my experience overall has been OKAY.. but that’s not the case.. The amount of disrespect I’ve been shown for the last few days has been unbearable. I haven’t wanted to go to the gym but seeing as this is the one closets to me and i’ve been a member for some time.. moving gyms isn’t an option. The staff needs to do better! I’ve heard them disrespectfully talking about KIDS! CHILDREN. As them being full grown ADULTS THIS IS DISGUSTING ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I heard kids get YELLED at today.. LIKE THEY WERE GROWN ADULTS. Whether or not they were holding a machine up, you talk to them with respect.. My respects goes out to them for keeping their composure because if I was getting disrespected YELLED at by an adult in my teenage years I would have been removed from the premises. A simple “Hey you guys we’ve gotten some complaints about you guys just sitting here instead of using the bench, we would like if you guys can stop using it and move somewhere else or finish up real quick” would have been fine..
