The gym itself is nice and clean but BOY the staff. It's hit or miss. Some of the employees are super nice but most are not. The girl I spoke to this morning, I simply wanted to find out what credit card I needed to update. She quickly cut me off saying I had to go to my home gym of highland. Well. I check my app once I start exercising.
Rather than be so rude she simply could have said, if you check your app, you'll see. And by the way girl... my home gym is actually hospitality. Where they actually are more hospitable.

I’ve been going to this Gym on and off for about 7 years. I usually go there for the cardio machines and cables. It was getting a bit worn out but recently the put in all new Smith machines with new sets of weight plates. I went the other day and they have a hack squat sled now too. I’m pretty well taken care of at home but sometimes it’s too hot in the garage … or too cold, so I don’t go very often, but I totally recommend it to anyone approaching a New Years Reolution, or someone is a beginner, wants to maintain a moderate fitness level, or just supplement what the have at home.
Basically: New gear, close to home, positive vibes.

The gym had everything I needed for my workout away from home. The staff were friendly and the gym was clean.

However, the gym felt a bit dated. The locker room was clean but felt like it hadn’t been upgraded in many years. Some of the weight plates were in really bad shape. There were a lot of newer machines but a shortage of free weights.

I do appreciate the fact I was able to buy a combination lock($10) and that the gym is open 24 hours.

Don’t go here. There are theives and skante warrior lurking behind the bushes and building watching and waiting for you to go inside so they can loot from your car. Brother and I went into for a workout, came out and found out someone had broke into his truck and stole his radio. HIS RADIO!!! Security ain’t doing nothing. They are probably part of it. I want plant fitness to see this and get with the property owner. Don’t go here.

Impressed! I've been to PF's in Riverside, Corona, and San Bernardino. This is by far one of better ones. Not sure how old the gym is but equipment seems pretty new and working. The black card area is clean and new looking, and it doesn't have the coin operated massage chairs which I don't care for! Can't speak on shower area because I didn't use it, but what I saw was pretty nice..ADDENDUM 6/22/24: Finally got around to using the SHOWERS. My advice: DON'T DO IT. Was cold. I thought it would eventually heat up. Never did. Reported to the front desk. They said they are aware of it but there's nothing they can do about it. I bring my 5 star review down to a 3 star.

The service is good, customer service is courteous.
The only problem I see is the security in the parking lot does not protect planet fitness customers. My vehicle was broken into and the cameras are not of good “quality” they could not tell if the car that stopped in front of my car was a black Nissan or a black Honda they only saw when someone got off their car broke my window got my belongings and took off.
Thief’s around this area are diligent and spy on people to break your windows and take your stuff. I always see broken glass on the floor.
This is unacceptable!!! Planet fitness did not do anything about it. But they want your money every month.

When you first opened and I first joined I gave you 5. Now I am giving you 1 star because your manager when I used to go there 2 years ago was letting people use my membership to work out when I wasn't even there and also was charging me a $20.00 late fee when I paid my monthly membership fee on the due date. So I don't trust Planet Fitness anymore.

Fue excelente estar ay , agarré una membresía de 24.99 por el echo que soy primeriza y me decía que cuentan con entrenadores y que alguien podía darme un tour se me izo increíble para poder conocer y ubicar las máquinas y asi alguien podía ayudarme para saber cómo se usaban algunas, pero al llegar ay por primera ves no pudieron ayudarme les able de un entrenador o si alguien podía orientarme porque era la primera ves que iba ay, solo me dijo la persona que estaba ay que no entendía lo que yo estaba diciendo entonces yo dije está bien gracias y solo use la caminadora, pero de lo demás es increíble el lugar limpio regresaré espero para la próxima alguien pueda ayudarme 🫤

Planet fitness is a great gym both the Riverside location on Chicago Ave and the planet fitness in San Bernardino on mt.vernon Ave I work out at often and they are both very clean, the machines are well kept up and usually always available rarely are the machines out of service the staff are very pleasant at both gyms well worth the price, I do prefer the San Bernardino mt. Vernon location because they have a lot more equipment. Really good gym.

I love this gym, very beginner friendly and crowd meter is very low which I loooovveee. BUT recently they’ve been going through renovations and idk if they’re done with the women’s restroom but I noticed this and am uneasy about it and it should definitely be fixed asap

I love going to this planet finess. I tried going to the one in Colton but the staff wasn’t as friendly as the one on Mt Vernon. The staff try to greet and see all of us out as much as they can. They’re always working and jump to the register once they see someone getting a beverage from the coolers. They always clean the machine as much as they can. So to sum it up, staff are very friendly and cooperative and the gym is clean. I’m a black card member and my friend always wants me to bring her along.

The gym is always maintained and cleaned. The staff is nice and are always greeting you at the entry going in and out. The machines seem to always work well and if one breaks down, Planet fitness will get it fixed asap. Overall, the gym experience at this gym is great.

Always something wrong with this gym. If you want to use the toilet, bring your on toilet paper. They don't carry toilet paper. And employees seem not to care. I am thinking about cancelling this membership, mostly all of them have dirty showers.

I like this PF. Not the nicest area but hey - it’s San Berdu. The gym itself is clean, great A/C, staff are friendly and do their jobs (unlike the ones at Highland Ave location). And they are generous with massage chairs. 10 minutes and if no-one else is waiting they will happily give 2nd round. The locker rooms can use a bit more cleaning, but it’s waaaay better than - again, the Highland location.

Im definitely not one to ever make a complaint but my mother and I come to this location often and recently there has been no paper towels provided at the cleaning stations and when asked if they had more the girl employee said they’ll bring some out in a little bit when she is just standing behind the desk on her cellphone. I asked if i could just get a roll to put at the cleaning station and she said they cant do that anymore. When looking around there are two cleaning stations upfront that have papertowel rolls just sitting there so that seems strange that she would say that. I stated that i work out in the back of the gym and she told me i can grab some from upfront because they dont know how to refill them on the wall. This to me is very unprofessional and unsanitary. That means that unless you are working out towards the front people are not wiping down the machines they are using. Im sorry but i like to wipe everything down for my own health and so does my mom who is a senior. We dont like using a machine full of someone else’s sweat. This is gross. Unless some policy has changed please train the employees to make their rounds to see if the paper towels or sanitizer needs to be refilled vs them being on their cellphones behind the desk.

They should work on yhe intimacy of the shower area.
No fitting room, just one bench for 2 showers.
No hooks, so you have to put your stuff on the wet floor.
No shelf to put your soap or shower on so you a to put everything on the ground, not well designed.

Very dark lighting and not enough a/c. If you need to use the showers there, make sure you get a hot enough workout in before to enjoy cold showers! The TV’s don’t have captions on so if you can read lips it’s fine or bring headphones to connect to a machine. But not everyone stays on machines only, let alone wants to keep watching infomercials 🤨🥴

Lots of equipment. They have free weights, Hinged machines, cables, Assisted pull up machines, treadmills, bikes, separate areas with turf, cleaning stations and they're not too crowded. I don't like the showers though. They take a while to heat up, there's a big hole in the drain and no secure place to put your stuff near you. I had to put my bag right outside the shower curtain with the handle inside so I could keep an eye on it. I'm still going to go back. I also would like it if the staff were more consistent with greeting and saying good bye. I know, I'm weird that way but it's nice.
