It was an ordinary day, I finished my workout routine and went out to eat at the same shopping complex, as I left I let the staff at the reception know I would be back soon. When I returned from lunch, as I had already mentioned, I was surprised to find a different lock on the locker I was using. I went to the front desk to ask what had happened? .One of the employees escorted me back to the locker room and He told me: "A customer said and assured me this was his locker, and we cut the lock. When we opened it, he realized it wasn't his."
I asked to speak to the manager of the establishment. We talked a bit, and her solution was to give me a new and different type of lock, To which I replied that that wasn't enough to fix the situation, they needed to find and figure out a way to get me the same type of lock I had. I had to get on with my day and get ready for work. I showered at the gym, and when I came out, the manager was gone. Without providing a solution to the situation.

I just wanted to say I really love this gym and appreciate all the recent upgrades—especially the added weight training stations. It’s clear a lot of thought is going into improving the space, and I’m grateful for that.

That said, I wanted to share some thoughts about the new policy asking everyone to put their gym bags in lockers. I asked the friendly staff who approached me about it, and I understood it’s because there were complaints about theft, which totally makes sense to be cautious about. But I don’t know if this blanket policy is going to do more good than harm.

Maybe instead of making it a rule for everyone, the gym could offer locks at the front desk for those who are worried, and let others decide if they want to take the risk. A clear “we’re not responsible for lost or stolen items” sign could also help cover the gym’s side.

The concern is where it stops—what if someone says their water bottle was stolen? Are we going to be asked to lock those up too? People bring gym bags for a reason. I have a bunch of tools I use during my workout, and it’s not realistic to carry everything in my hands or try to stuff it into a small pouch. It can cause trip hazard, too.

Just hoping there might be a more flexible solution that works for both security and convenience.

I signed up about two months ago and everything was going well—clean facility, good equipment, and friendly staff. However, I had a frustrating experience recently that made me reconsider the convenience of this gym.

I usually jog about 2 miles from home to the gym and carry a water pack that holds my water bottle and small essentials. It’s not a bulky backpack or gym bag, just something practical for my run. Today, I was unexpectedly told I had to put it away and use a locker—despite the fact that the lockers come with a disclaimer that the gym isn’t liable for lost or stolen items.

I understand the policy, but the way it was enforced felt sudden and inconvenient, especially since I wasn’t using the bag during my workout. A little more flexibility or clearer communication about these rules would go a long way.

A good place to workout for low-average budget. You pay an annual fee $49 and then either $10 - classic or $25 - black card per month. With the black card membership, you can take a guess with you and you (just you, not your guess) can use the hydro massage. I like the hydro massage but they have only 3 so it's often busy, especially during the week. If your goal is just to workout then $10/month isn't bad.

It gets busy on weekdays. The treadmills and stairmasters can be very full so if you can workout later in the week or weekend, you don't have to fight for an equipment. I do wish they are more stairmasters though.

The restroom is clean for the most part. Sometimes they are a little bit behind in cleaning it.
I think the rest of the place is in decent shape.

I went in last year to cancel my membership. 2 young ladies at the counter were unable to process the cancellation and sent me a temporary Freeze- I thought I was cancelled. By January I was being billed again. Lydia the manager won't reply to emails, and now I'm no where close to that location. Still being billed. No one knows anything.

I did the right things, the right way, and they dropped the ball.
It's about a $230 dollar ball drop. NO ONE FROM THIS LOCATION is trying to fix this.

Dirtiest gym I've been to in California so far. It's extremely packed during peak hours but I went here to workout then afterwards I went to the restroom to use the stall. I waited a few minutes. As I looked around the entire bathroom is a disaster area. Ripped up Toilet seat covers everywhere. Toilet paper balls and shreds everywhere. I looked in one stall it was a mess with piss everywhere and pubic hairs all over the seat...and black specs of dirt, so I waited till the guy came out of the other stall and he quickly washed his hands and went back on the floor. It was an employee with glasses white guy black pants I saw him at the front desk not too long before. Anyways I went into the stall and it was another disaster. TP shreds....and balled up TP everywhere. Also used toilet seat covers. I was taken back the employee never even came back to clean or sweep he saw what I saw before I went in the stall but didn't even attempt to clean or pick up all the trash. Pretty disgusting gym I would definitely not recommend this one. Also there are 3 employees out at the front I feel like someone could be walking around cleaning up. Especially the guy that literally was just in the stall. You can tell they don't care at all or take any pride whatsoever in their job. Paying people just to sit out there and do nothing is unacceptable. You don't just walk by trash without acknowledging that it's there and come back or just pick it up right then and there. I was in the bathroom changing and no employees ever came back to sweep or anything. Will not be coming back. It's definitely a reflection of the ownership and should be addressed. This happened around 12:15 a. Graffiti everywhere. Lockers wide open with trash left empty water bottles etc

I’ve been coming to this location quite occasionally since I’ve been around the area — but quite honestly, my experience here was mid. There are some times where they were good, and there are times where it just turns to absolute bad quality.

The past few times I’ve been to this location were very unwelcoming, thus the -1 star that I’m giving this location. They also had a lot of people during the weekday rush hour working out there, and other members who were working out there asked me whether I was going to continue using the equipment when I had just started using. When approaching the front desk, I was greeted with unprofessionalism and dismay from the staff.

I came here at 645 am. AFirst of all, the manager was sitting down on his laptop like he was too good to be behind the desk. The locker room was dirty.... not messy but dirty. I've been a member of this gym for over a year. Some of the stationary bikes are always broken and just the other day the sink in the mens restroom had vomit in it from a few days before. Planet charged my bank account 7 times in one day. I was hit with overdraft charges of 237$. I cancelled my account. I’m trying to sign up on line and they will not let me with out my banking information. This is unacceptable. I already provided my credit card number and info. Every time you go to the male restroom there is always something wrong. From having multiple shower stalls broken to BLACK MOLD on the curtains. The worst is for our disabled community members to feel shamed for not have a door for the stall. I know management is aware of this problem because the door has been missing for a couple months and black mold does not grow overnight. Worst gym place. Every time I come here , some equipment are always out of work and it’s on regular basis it takes weeks to be fixed. I have been here few times and there always some issues. Water fountain is out of work for a week and they are asking guest to buy the water bottle. Internet doesn't work and scanner for ID is out for almost 3 weeks. Worst experience ever. I am not sure how this place is open with no water in this High heat HHS department should pay attention. This location wants guest to buy water which they are suppose to provide to the guest as part of the membership not forced to buy water. It’s health and safety hazard. This is the only PF in America that I’ve had something stolen from the locker room…. And it happened 4 days in a row. Per staff, “people love stealing right here.”’ Chargers, headphones, cords, keys

For the price, it's really hard to beat this place. Even at rush hour, there seems to always be plenty of ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes which is super rare compared to other gyms I've been to. My only complaints are 1) no barbells 2) no signs asking people to not sit and stare at their phones while sitting on machines. There is a real problem with customers using the 30 minute workout area as there own personal area. It is posted as only for 30 minute use but obviously not enforced. I have witnessed two people using side by side machines alternating back and forth for half an hour. I have never seen less than 6 people doing multiple sets on equipment for 10 to 15 minutes or more. This makes it impossible to use the area as designed and promoted. If there was a way to put zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. Last night my car was broken into over $6000 in value were stolen my sons gaming computer, my sons school computer, his backpack, personal documents, headphones, etc. I made the police report. The staff said because it was after 10:30 PM. They were not able to see the cameras, to come back tomorrow morning after 9 AM, which I just did just now manager and staff Mr. Joshua Alcosta (I am giving him the respect he didn’t give me) was the one in sight that refused to let me see the security footage. It’s very unfortunate and disgusting that this is going on and they let it keep happening. I’m not the first person I asked a few people and they’ve been victims of theft and they don’t really care for their people so don’t even bother going there , because if you have any type of issues, they will definitely ignore it at least the manager and staff Joshua Alcosta. This is extremely frustrating that we keep covering the people who make this world more unsafe. Yes unsafe to go to the gym without worrying about your car or your personal items being stolen.

Honestly tonight was my first time in the gym and there was one boy behind the counter who irked my nerves. They were back behind the counter goofing off. Not picking up around the gym or doing anything productive. Everything I asked for they were out of. I asked for paper towels and he basically said you have to sit in other peoples sweat because we don’t have any. When I found the last roll on the floor all of them laughed loudly. The gym has trash and used towels all over the floor, no one was cleaning the machines because the lack of supplies, people were on one machine for an hour straight not letting anyone else on. It just wasn’t a good first impression. I love all the machines from planet fitness but was reluctant to use it due to it being super dirty.

This is a great place to work out. I have never had any issues. Staff is wonderful. Melissa and Joseph are always great with greeting and attending to my needs when I needed it the most. I appreciate them so much. My only complaint is the water bed massagers SMELL HORRIBLE! Like a rotting wet towel or something. I do not recommend using them. Planet Fitness is hands down the best value in gym memberships. It offers a a lot of exercise choices for such a reasonable membership rate & is open all the time. However, the membership loses its value when some inconsiderate patrons mess it up for everyone else. Some major issues can be improved if there were more RULES POSTED ON THE WALLS. People should be respectful of other patrons who are waiting their turn & should not stay at one place for an extended period of time, especially when it's crowded. Too many times I've witnessed the same individuals using the free weights for 20 minutes or longer. That's simply unacceptable. Same thing with putting weights or benches away after one is finished. It's not too much to ask for basic common courtesy, which certain people lack. Please improve the situation.

Cost wise it is a good place but it is difficult to get equipment time. Even 30 min express is exercise area also get full and people stays hugging the equipment making it difficult for others. In other words, a availability of equipment is the major issue. I hope that authorities should consider to manage equipment time equally for all.

I enjoy Planetfitness being open 24 hours because it allows me a more flexibile schedule. Even more so I appreciate the friendly staff that greets & acknowledges my presence apon entering & leaving the gym. Thank you for making this a great place where I feel comfortable & safe working out!
