The PF trainer found it appropriate and necessary to physically touch me and poke me with his fingers to get my attention because I was ignoring him when he was trying to tell me to move away from from his training class, in 1 minute. 🤣🤣🤣. He has no right to put his hands on anyone for any reason what soever and because I was recording my workout, I have my own video of the assault as well as the video the location def has.... What a testosterone joke he is. I sent this to corporate so they can get a laugh at the audacity. They won't do crap about though, I'm sure... Thank you.

Planet Fitness in Santa Clarita is my home gym, and overall, I really like it. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and most of the staff provide great customer service. I do have two concerns I hope can be addressed.

First, I often visit late at night, and during those times I’ve noticed that some staff members tend to mingle with friends or other customers. I don’t mind staff having friendly interactions, but it becomes an issue when I go to the front desk and can’t get assistance or equipment because they’re busy talking or not visible. It would be helpful if staff could remain available to members who need help, especially during late hours.

Second, my credit card already saved in the system declines every month for reasons I don’t understand. I’ve accumulated late fees because of it. My card is legitimate, has funds, and works everywhere else without issues. When I ask staff for help resolving this, they either don’t know how or say there’s no way to fix it. I’ve asked for a support number to contact, but no one seems to know what I can do, so the issue continues every month.

Members keep the gym open, and it would be great if these concerns could be addressed. Other than these issues, Planet Fitness is a great gym, and I truly enjoy being a member.

This is the nicest planet fitness I've been to in terms of cleanliness and friendliness of staff and people working out. But god the tvs are everywhere, even in the spa area. It's too much. I'm trying to focus and I can't look anywhere without a tv in my face. Tone it down please at the very least in the spa area where I'm trying to relax after my workout

By far the friendliest of all the PFs I have gone to. It’s also one of the cleanest. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because there was stuff left behind in the women’s shower such as disinfectant wipes, a tampon applicator, and some empty soap bottles.

This is hands-down the worst Planet Fitness I’ve ever seen — they honestly should have their franchise taken away. There was no hot water, which is ridiculous for any gym, but the worst part was how disgustingly dirty everything was. There were long black hairs everywhere — on the floors, in the showers, stuck to the benches — it was like stepping into a giant, filthy hairball. No matter how much I tried to brush them off, I still felt gross.

If I had a dog, I wouldn’t even wash it here — that’s how nasty this place is. This is not the Planet Fitness quality people pay for. It’s basically a biohazard. Stay far away until they get shut down or figure out how to actually clean.

I love how I can go to a planet fitness nowhere near home, expect to be able to get a workout in and a shower before a long drive to work…only for the showers to be ice cold, been waiting 10 mins for this thing to warm up. I left a good review a while back but am updating it now. This place is insanely overcrowded. Groups of people come into the gym and camp out on machines. The problem is they only have one of each on certain machines and people these days have no courtesy to acknowledge when they are being rude and hogging them. Definitely an atmosphere in this one and I go to many PF locations. The plus side it is 24 hours however I have yet to go in there when half the city isn't hanging out. There is this new trend of going to a gym, sitting on a machine while you play around on your phone and getting two sets done in 20 minutes. It gets very rude and this location is the worst with it I have seen. I have never had an issue with any of the employees, they seem ok but the constant out of order signs in the bathroom make me think that no one is taking care of the mess.

I never really loved working out in a traditional gym setting, but Planet Fitness is not like the other gyms. Everyone there seems to genuinely be focused on working out and not doing it for likes. I've never seen anyone recording themselves, no overly toxic gym vibes here. Plus, the black card membership gives you access to a tanning bed/booth, massage chairs, cryo, and hydro chairs.

I have been coming to PF since it opened. Dylan you manager, is rude and when asking for the regional managers phone number he told me I would have to find it on google. Your employees are always at the front desk just talking, not cleaning, not supervise people who don't follow the rules. Every time i go in there I use the total enhancement first and then the tanning booth. I usually always have the goggles but I don't use them but if I forget them Dylan is insistent about these goggles but no where it says it is mandatory it is suggested to wear them on a sign in the booth.
Dylan didn't allow me to use the machine, customer protocol should be, don't worry this time, but bring them next time. He refuse me the service. He refused me the regional managers number and told me to google it. I will start a discrimination suit on this facility and on Dylan. He is not a manager he is a kid disrespecting people.

Today I went to cancel my membership today. I went through the app to see how I could cancel my membership. It’s been 2 months since I used the gym. The customer service reps online said that I would need to go to my home club in order to cancel my membership. This makes it very hard for consumers that have moved away from their previous home city. So finally I had the time to go in since I been charged. These young adults didn’t know much of how customer service is supposed to work. I requested for a refund and they told me that I have to set a cancellation for the 10th. Today is the 17th when I got charged. The representatives online told me to contact the club manager and so that’s what I requested for was to speak to the club manager. These young adults ignored my request and said there’s nothing we can do and that you will not be charged the next month. This is very unprofessional ignoring a consumer’s request to speak to the club manager. This location definitely needs to retrain their employees let alone management.

I called today because I was charged for the monthly fee and the annual fee. I have not been to the gym lately so I ask if I can place it on hold or if I needed to cancel the membership. The girl who answered immediately said I can’t get refunded the annual fee and also said she had another client and put me on hold. After being on hold, a new person assisted and said I needed to go in person or go online to cancel and as the annual fee that’s non-refundable and if I had any issues with that to dispute with the bank. It would have been nice to receive a reminder about the annual fee and they need to work on providing better services over the phone.

New location, so it's pretty clean and nice and there are a lot of friendly staff. We will have to see how long it stays this way.
UPDATE: There are alot of employees that just hang out up front and chat amongst themselves and refuse to enforce any rules whatsoever. The main reason we even go to this gym is to do the 30 minute full body workout. There are always people in there hogging machines and not even following the program that is clearly posted all over the section. The numbers on the machines and the lights that change color aren't just for decoration. So I had to be a Karen and let the manager know what my issue was. And he said " yeah that's one of the reasons PF is considering getting rid of the 30 minute section" and that was really disappointing to hear, especially considering the fact it's also posted on the wall that "team members are monitoring this section regularly" so because the employees don't want to have to do what they were hired to do, the customers loose out? Makes no sense at all to me. I'm sorry but I will continue to lower my rating on this place until this issue is resolved and of course until there are no more stars to give. Or until I find a new gym.

I'm an older woman with little gym experience, and am really enjoying going to Planet Fitness to work out a few times a week, yo build strength and endurance. I go late at night, and it's never been crowded - lots of machines, great variety of equipment, and always clean, everywhere, which I really appreciate. Most of all, I love the casual, non-judgemental atmosphere where I don't feel self-conscious trying out equipment I've never used before, or when I can only do short sets on a machine because I'm just starting out. I also love that they are open 24hours so I can any time of day or night. The one thing I would change is: TURN DOWN THE MUSIC! It's needlessly loud, especially late at night when there are only a few people in the place. Other than that, it's great!

Great Gym! Great Location! Great Parking! Super Clean and the Staff was welcoming on my first day. Got 2 miles on the treadmill and started my way to the weights, did some abs, and was an hour in timing my workout and feeling great! My first day, and I'm loving the deal I got online and after being a 24hr Fitness member for years which they closed down a year ago and I did LA Fitness before and felt it was over crowded or paid to much. Plus PF was a lot closer. But sadly they don't have a SAUNA!!!! No STEAM ROOM either?? What the L? Lol... I mean the place is great, and I still like it to a degree, and the Black Card stuff like massage chairs and other items are of value. Plus the fact that everyone there on a Sunday evening was legit cleaning after themselves. But I need a SAUNA!!!! So PF Staff and Owners! Please add a SAUNA! lol.. But I heard they don't have any Sauna's in any PF????? So I guess I'll look into cancelling my membership as soon as I joined and have to pay just a little more for an LA Fitness membership.... TIA

When I came on Thanksgiving day two ceiling fans were not working. I was told by a staff member that there was no power even though the lights were on, the TVs were on. I had to leave after less than an hour because there was no fresh air or at least air moving at all. My thoughts were that the management was trying to save money by turning the fans off. When I came a few days later in the evening the fans were working. A couple of days later they were not working again. So, now I think I was right because after that I was at the gym a few times and sometimes the fans were working (usually during the busy times) and not working in a day time. Or if there is a problem with the ceiling fans then close the gym and fix the problem.

They collect everyone's bath water, simply filter it, and provide it to customers for recycling. The water quality during the bath is greasy. After washing, every pore on the body is filled with serious athlete's foot bacteria. The skin ages horribly and rapidly, and the vision gradually loses. Showers are filthy and smell at 6:30am. Dylan was very unprofessional handling an employee Yulissa who repeatedly told me my phone number is not my phone number (6 times). It is my phone number and always has been. Nothing on my acct has ever changed. I receive PF text messages regularly and I have never had a problem or even question from any other PF gym. Dylan Told me its my fault and had to do with something on their computer screen which Im not allowed to see. I signed up on line and never told anyone what to put on any screen. How can that be my fault? No body has a right to tell me its not my phone number when its the exact same number I signed up with. My phone number my drivers license and photo of my face all on file but no. Dylan went the extra mile to make me feel horrible. Yulissa standing behind him smirking the whole time. Very bad image of PF after this encounter. Smiling and smooth talking when everything is going great makes for a great door greeter, it is not a measure of a good manager. Buyer Beware here at the SCV location. It is almost impossible to cancel with these people. Not only did we cancel in person and also in the app, they refuse to acknowledge this. We were charged 6 MONTHS past the date we cancelled and they refuse to refund it! Terrible business practices and they are just another company who could care less about their customers. I called and complained and this location did nothing. Makes me question other things how they keep things clean if they can't get their facts right. Be careful and read your contract. Really good when it’s not busy. I’ve been gear nearly ten times this month since I’ve started, and it was really good. But today, on President’s day, it really busy and the scheduling for the cooldown equipment I pay extra for is absolutely awful. I scheduled for 6:00 PM today for Hydro and they still haven’t started it 20 minutes after my time. The machine wasn’t even available until the time segment after mine. The Cryo machine also has a bad habit of ending early. You also have to remind the staff to actually turn on the machine nearly every time, and sometimes even several times.

I love this gym! I recently switched over from Crunch and the two are night and day. I love the hours, the new equipment, the spa area, and the cost is absolutely unbeatable. Also, for a gym, the place doesn't have a speck of dust and actually smells quite nice, which I didn't think mattered that much but changes the experience entirely. I love all of the features it has to offer and the staff is incredible.

Special shout-out to Richard who helped me become a member. He gave a great tour and let me try out the equipment! He also walked me through the Planet Fitness app and showed me all the workout videos and classes it has to offer. Great job!

Unlike Crunch, I'm actually excited to go to the gym and genuinely looking forward to it. The interior design is just so welcoming and the staff is so friendly. I can't wait for my next workout. :)

This place has such a great atmosphere. The staff are both patient and friendly. I go every single day, and have brought my friends with me. A few of my friends have even gotten their own membership here. That's good for me as well because every friend that joins gets me a free month. It's pretty clean, except once in a while I'll have to clean BEFORE using a machine, which is not the fault of the gym, because they have cleaning stations at every turn. Some people just aren't very considerate.
Also, the value of the membership is unbeatable, as there are many perks with your membership plan. The staff will answer all of your questions and help you with any problem you may have.
The ONLY thing that I think they need to improve is the training for employees. Once in a while, the person at the front will be stumped, and not know something but for the most part, it is perfect in every way. I certainly would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone because of the staff being so fricken cool.
All in all, if I could give more than five stars, I certainly would! I love my Planet Fitness and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Planet fitness is great so nothing bad to say. It’s a good price. It’s only not worth it if you don’t go. Just like streaming services. It’s only a waste of money if you never watch it that’s why I’m bout to cancel Netflix but they make it complicated to cancel. Planet fitness is also kinda hard to cancel but after a year I think it’s easier. The only reason I was the cancel planet fitness is from spending months out of the country often but recently I’ve been getting more use from the membership at lots of locations with the black card vip membership it’s a good deal. Massage chairs are nice. For some people the massage chairs are more needed than the exercise equipment (because we do physical work so we don’t need to do cardio )

Nice clean gym, open 24/7. I like the circuit training that gives a little warmup for your whole body.
I wish they had a bike rack out front since they are right off the bike path...would be super helpful for me.
