This gym is a good option for a small town. You’re able to pay month to month w/o a long term commitment.

Pros - Lifting platforms, leg machines next to platform, Three sets of free weights. A decent amount of threadmills. They have an app to see the live traffic. Some gym goers are willing to share machines. Gym hours.

Cons - People without manners. There are gym rules such as is a person is waiting for the machine, they’re next. Teenagers lounging around and blocking access to equipment. Limited equipment.

Love the gym. Weekends get a bit packed and is difficult to find any cardio machines. Also, there's a lot of members who get a leg machine and just sit there on their phones!!! They should have some policy or something 🙄

The shower water is very cold in the mornings, and there's also a shortage of brown paper towels to clean the machine when they're empty. Also, when the toilet paper runs out in the bathrooms, they don't change it. A monthly fee is being charged, which should meet customer satisfaction, and that isn't being enforced.

Very Clean, Just don't like how overly packed everything is, Also kids are always coming in large groups and hangout at the gym while others are actually trying to workout. They take up all the machines and just hangout.

In general, this place is nice and great for starting out, but the manager, Gabe, is horrible.

On Aug 10th I was accidental double charged an item that was tapped with my phone. I'm old school so I don't use it much, but regardless, the item I did not want, I returned. This was a Sunday so when the staff member said they needed authorization from the manger but was not present, of course I understood. They took my name and number, along with the unopened item, and was told I would get a call the next day.

Fast forward, still no call. It's now August 27th. I've been refunded but only once and I've been trying to contact Gabe to show receipts and to get that other refund. Every time I've called, i was told he'd call back later that day, or he was in a Valencia for the week, or was in a meeting...etc, etc... all while coincidentally there is chatter in the background. My number has been taken down and my incident has been explained multiple times, but I'm trying really hard not to be a Karen about this. The staff themselves have been kind and understanding, but their "manager" doesn't seem to be doing his job.

My suggestion is to find a professional to replace him, or demote him as a position of authority. You need to be able to communicate properly and if you are putting your own employees in between your own issues of customer service, then you need to go.

Somebody please tell Gabe to man up.

THIS FELT VERY WRONG. WARNING FOR FELLOW GYM MEMBERS.

On 8/16/25, my partner and I were working out in the “Judgment Free Zone.” We had been there for 40 minutes, and an employee DID NOT SPEAK TO US.

But the MOMENT I STEPPED AWAY FOR THREE MINUTES, he APPROACHED HER, told her to remove her headphones, and made an INAPPROPRIATE COMMENT ABOUT HER LEGGINGS, referencing the brand logo on her thigh.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS he just happened to wait until she was alone? He WAITED. That felt CALCULATED and PREDATORY.

Women especially: LISTEN TO THAT FEELING, IT’S NOT JUST IN YOUR HEAD. Report any unsolicited contact to management. EVERYONE deserves to feel safe in their own gym.

The most poorly managed staff who lack competency and integrity. For several weeks I was permitted to allow my children (9 & 11) to sit at the tables while I did a workout. They did not wander the floor or move from the tables. I was then scolded for bringing them at all, although every staff member previously, had allowed it. I walk in today and not only are same aged-kids on the floor, they are utilizing the equipment. I will not pay into favoritism and inconsistency so I will be canceling my membership.

Love!!! Clean place and everyone is so friendly. Kinda bummed there aren’t no tvs lol but it’s ok. Can we please extend the hours for Friday, Saturday and Sunday please 🙂 Very thankful it’s here in Santa Paula.

I went opening day and signed up for the promo rate and tried to link my phone to the app as told by there employee this is how you log in after I paid and spent an hour there signing up then they tell me I dont have an account and cant honnor there promo rate it's there mess up that that won't make right guess I'll go to another gym dont waist your money here there employees are lazy and dont know how to sign people up

I was lied to, before I joined I wanted to make sure what the hours of operation were. Before the grand opening they had a booth outside and I was told by the people in purple shirts that they would be open Mon- Fri 24hrs and Saturday Sunday 6am to 9pm.
Well its currently a friday night and they switched up and closed at 9pm. Should I cancel my membership and go to a true 24hour gym? Or will Planet Fitness fix this issue?
