Vary friendly staff and reasonable prices. As a young gym member I'm glad its open 24 hours because it gives me flexibility to stay on track. The gym community here is amazing! While I appreciate the response from the owner, I feel the reply misses the core issue. This isn’t just about comfort, it’s about safety and basic gym etiquette. People invading others' gym space without asking, and blocking access to dumbbells by lifting directly in front of the rack, aren't just being rude, they’re creating dangerous situations. I literally witnessed someone get hit because another person wasn’t paying attention.

Gym etiquette should be part of every new member’s onboarding, just like rules for equipment use. And especially since Planet Fitness allows teens in for free during the summer, there should be clear, proactive education around gym behavior. Many of these teens simply don’t know the rules and that lack of guidance creates real risk for themselves and others.

Also, it’s not realistic to expect members to go to management every single time this happens. I’ve seen these issues multiple times with different people. It shouldn’t be on members to police others, this is something staff should be monitoring and addressing consistently.

If it’s not taken seriously, it opens the door for preventable injuries and potential legal consequences. Members deserve more than a generic “talk to the manager” reply when valid safety concerns are raised. Clear standards and accountability should be part of the gym’s culture, not just a reaction when someone speaks up.

This gym is seriously so weird because it’s a full house on a Sunday and they close at 7 so they have to ask everyone to leave. It doesn’t close because it’s a time that is dead for the gym. They close because corporate does not understand the community it has.

One thing I wish they changed is to get rid of a lot of the elliptical machines that are the least popular and add more stair masters that seem to be always on demand, there's only 4 of them. This is the first store I've ever been to that doesn't even have wifi. It's been down for almost a month and customers who work out there are complaining, but they still don't seem to have any intention of fixing it. The wifi is still not working. It only shows the name of the router, but it doesn't actually connect to the internet. Again, this location is the worst Planet Fitness I've ever been to.

Love this gym!! Can’t recommend it enough. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean. The hours are awesome and fit my schedule. I work out from 3am-ish and 5, and was having trouble finding a gym that was open at those hrs. The machines are always in working order and the price is reasonable. I’m very happy at Planet Fitness!

I am a long time gym go-er of 15 years. I've been to many gyms and decided to get a membership here since it was walking distance from my house and would be convenient. I never really had any trouble or complaints until June where they allowed all the high school kids to work out for free. They crowd the gym and none of the equipment is ever available.
I typically come in 4am-6am or so before work and sometimes during my breaks. The equipment is not available anytime from 9am until like noon time.
There are limited smith machines and space for the location being in Rodeo 39 with a large volume of people coming in/out.
So over the crowds and canceled my membership today never returning.
The gym staff are always extremely nice as a positive.

This place is swanky, this is my home gym. Their spa is so clean and spotless. It's best to come during like 8 or 9 to avoid the traffic of people. It can get very crowded. The staff is nice. Marisol is great if your considering in enrolling you must speak to her she's knowleable and friendly. If the owners are reading this or corporate y'all better give ya girl a raise. Planet Fitness (Garden Gove/Stanton) has an excellent representative. Erick. Prior to signing up, my son, a friend's dad, and I came to visit the gym. Erick answered all of our questions and offered a gym tour. He took us through the different sections providing a concise and relevant presentation and explanation of the machines and circuit. Erick's demeanor was friendly, professional, and very approachable. After signing up, I have noticed that Erick keeps the same level of service we received with other Planet Fitness members. I have no problems with Planet Fitness for the most part. I come around 12ish, and most times I am able to use the machines I’m interested in. Now and then (usually during summer/free teen times), I find people sitting at a machine I’d like to use, on their phones, not using the machine. Also, it would be nice if they would reinforce the “No Talking On Your Cellphone” in the gym policy. I actually checked a person talking rather loudly the entire time I was at the gym-70+ mins!
Other than that, I find the gym, clean, and for the most part not too many people there when I come.

This location is a joke....was told to stop skipping rope due to policy. It was slow and there was no one around me within 50 ft. I understand if it was packed like sardines, which I wouldn't skip anyways out of courtesy. But if the gym is empty, how are you going to tell someone to stop. They do not have a "no jump rope" sign posted, but they do have a "no bag" policy POSTED all over, which was not enforced during my visit due to the bags I saw laying around the gym. Make it make sense. This gym is ran by robotic drones. Canceling membership. Ridiculous...

I use to be a member at 24 but when my membership expired, I started looking for a cheaper alternative. Found this place. It's new so the equipment is in good shape. I go in the morning and so far, not nearly as crowded as 24 and the staff and other members seem very nice. They are constantly cleaning the equipment so that's a good sign. I highly recommend this place. BTW, it's is 24/hr, from what i hear, 24 is no longer 24.

I just joined a couple of months ago. Every time I go the building is very clean. They have a crowd meter on the app which helps me plan what I am going to do while there. The employees are friendly without being intrusive. All of the equipment seams to be close to new. The price is worth it and I would recommend anyone looking to better themselves to join.

What I love is the price. What I didn't like was that there are way too many ellipticals that no one uses. There should be more treadmills, stairmaster, dumbells, kettle bells, and rowing machines. Also gets too packed at 6-8pm. Sometimes it's difficult to find parking depending on the time.

The gym is clean and there is plenty of space to exercise. The equipment is all new and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cardio equipment has individual tvs that you can watch cable channels on while exercising. The bathrooms are clean and not used for cruising like 24hr fitness so that's nice. Good for beginner but isn’t for me.

I run 5-7 miles daily at 5% incline and tried the daypass here but the place is way too hot for me (might be a strategy to make you not want to workout as much). I felt it about 15mins into my run and it was miserable. All I do is cardio and was hoping Planet Fitness would work due to the $10/month price since all I needed was a treadmill or elliptical (I broke 2 personal treadmills in 1 year).

Other than that, PF had really nice Life Fitness treadmills in good condition and the belt never slipped or jerked. They have spray bottles with brown paper towels for wiping machines down. The parking is ok at 5am since no one was there, but I can see the lot getting packed later on in the day. Staff at the front are nice and greet you well.

I do recommend this place if you’re starting out and want nice machines, definitely try the daypass if you can. Great gym for $10 if it weren’t for the heat.

Not actually sure how to write this review.

I understand everyone is on their own fitness journey so I would never want to downplay people's efforts around fitness or taking the steps to improve their health but after visiting a Planet Fitness (I would like have the same review for any planet fitness) for the first time, I don't know if I think anyone should go to Planet Fitness (we only went cause it was the closest gym to our airbnb). Okay, I might recommend my senior mother start at a Planet Fitness but then I would still make sure she moved to another gym eventually. Planet Fitness definitely felt foreign to me as a gym and did not feel like any kind of commercial gym I have ever been too.

Pros:
* Machines Galore
* Lots of Cardio machines
* Friendly front staff

Cons:
* Not a barbell in sight.
* No power racks. Every kind of full body movement that would normally be done with a barbell is encouraged to be done in a smith machine.
* Dumbbells only go up to 75lbs
* Squatting, Benching and Deadlifting is not an option
* Every judgey "Lunk" alarm

Okay so with all of that said, if you ARE still super sold on Planet Fitness and this is your jam then this one is probably great. There was nothing specifically wrong with it that made the experience poor. I just think I don't agree with the entire model of Planet fitness

pretty nice gym. great locker rooms. it is located on beach blvd which is a notoriously vagrant filled blvd but the riff raff tend to stay out of this parking lot. theres a lot of cool, hip places inside rodeo 39 to eat or drink at after ur workout which i enjoy. if youre too "classy" to walk past a harmless homeless person though, this isnt the place for you. the parking lot osnt desolate though so ive never felt unsafe or something. the homeless usually stick to the Walmart across the street anyways lol

They are not friendly been a customer for a few years at the corona location which I loved . when I moved to garden grove I transferred my member to the Stanton location. they are rude and unprofessional. I received a business call the minute I picked it up a club member approach me aggressively telling me I cannot use my phone while I am training which I understand but the way he said is unacceptable.
