This is THE nicest and cleanest Planet Fitness I've ever been in. The staff definitely stays on top of the cleaning. The staff is also very friendly. I do wish there were more equipment, but there's only so much they can do given the space.

Do not sign up at planet fitness. They lie about being able to cancel for free. It cost me over $100 to cancel and if you don't have the money they keep billing you $25 per month and a $20 late fee and $50 per year. Any promotions or discounts are a lie. Don't give them your card you'll have to close your bank account to get the charges to stop and they'll ruin your credit.

Slowly going down hill in the cleanliness department. Night staff needs to clean the restrooms better. This is revolting. This way on a regular basis. Shower floors haven’t been properly cleaned in months. You can see and smell the grime.

I don’t mind people dropping weights here and there, but if you’re on a pulley machine or something assists you, you shouldn’t be dropping it like a toddler. The staff here does nothing to correct that toxic behavior and it costs us accessibility as these brand new machines keep getting destroyed. About to switch gyms

Update on 8/17: the parking and traffic in the area is a nightmare and makes it difficult to want to go!

The employees are friendly and the gym is clean! My primary complaint is the lack of free range bar bells. This gym only stocks free weights, machines, and smith machines.

My first time at this location and was very pleased with the warm welcome, excellent customer service, overall cleanliness of the gym floor and women's locker room, and excellent water temp in the shower. I'm partial to a flat hydrobeds but their reclined ones meet the need just fine.

For a smaller than most Planet Fitness location in a small 2-story strip mall, I think this location is perfect for the EARLY am/LATE pm crowd. I've not experienced it myself (yet) but for those who come during business hours or after your 9am-5pm, I would assume, you need to bring extra patience with you if the parking and gym get crowded.

I've not been in the underground parking structure (yet), but I did find a spot right out front easily, that said, it was also about 8am'ish on a Saturday morning.

All in all, this is a great facility and I look forward to returning while I'm in town on my @TravelingDoulaNCS contract😊💐

Lot of equipment I go thru there twice a day always machines to use the only difficulty I had was with morning manager my card was charged a day before the bill was due and was declined didn't charge it on day of billing hit the following day then charged me a late fee on top was told he was gonna fix it for me gave him my number and got no reply so I ended up cancelling my membership gonna reapply at another of in my area . Other than that the facility itself is great highly recommend it

My experience/review is based off going in the mornings Monday-Friday. Morning staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is not the biggest but it’s got everything I need. Staff is always cleaning and maintaining the place clean. You got your regulars who all seem to be cool. Machines are always working and if their down it’s only for a couple days always see maintenance workers in the mornings fixing the equipment that’s not in service. I’m sorry but some of the negative reviews are dumb complaining about the dumbest things that the gym has no control over. This gym is a good one!!

Staff is always awesome but this location has some downfalls. Machines are facing a see through glass so when the sun is setting, the sun is literally in your eyes and it’s blinding. It’s also always too hot. Otherwise small but doable.

This gym is great but Jesus, the lot/building itself is a mess. For the past almost two months they’ve been ripping up and repairing the parking lot, makes sense, but the escalator is always broken. Usually you can take other stairs up but now their neighboring businesses have locked up their stair access. Overall I really love it here but the amount of consistent maintenance that impedes on even getting in and out of the gym has become outrageous. Might be worth it to pay more for a gym that doesn’t consistently have something broken.

The staff is always super nice, and the gym has a great atmosphere. But the machines take way too long to get repaired, and it’s frustrating when the ones I need are always out of order. Also, the machines facing outside have no blinds, so when the sun is out, it’s blinding and hard to use them. Hope they fix these issues!

I've been back a few times and noticed that the fresh air quality has diminished significantly which makes it difficult to complete a workout. You certainly shouldn't have to be concerned about fresh air not being circulated in the gym. Management really needs to make sure that the "air conditioner" is on and not just the fan. Having the unit on "fan only" in a crowded gym where people are working out, sweating, coughing, etc. does not make for a healthy, clean environment. Having the air conditioner on filters out the polluted air and provides fresh air.

This gym location is a lot smaller than some of the other Planet Fitness locations nearby. The good thing is it's very clean and it's near to lots of place you can go to afterwards. It feels like there's a lot less equipment then the other locations but enough here to do a good workout.

I think the staff are helpful. They always say hi to everyone and are pleasant. Some gyms I've been to previously don't have as many of the smith machines and there are 4 here so I haven't had to wait for one of these smith machines to do my squats yet.

Everyone who comes here seems to be serious about their workouts. They use the machines wipe them down and move onto the next. Some gyms people are playing on their phone while I've waited to hop on equipment. Not so far at this gym. In fact, while I was waiting for a leg machine the person offered to work in with me. That's very nice and noted. So there are also nice staff and nice patrons at this gym. I'm still fairly new so that's a good thing to know.

I haven't worked out the best time for me to workout yet. I seem to be hitting peak times. I think after lunch is a bit quieter so will have to shuffle things and take a late lunch to avoid the busy times at this gym.

I'm just hoping the ventilation will stand up during the hotter months. It has felt a bit steamy during the day at times. We will find out as the weather warms up. I think it would be fair that this comment translates to the ladies room too where it also felt a little stuffy. Could be a air circulation issue. Or just a few days I went and they had their heating turned up.

I've only been a few times and depending on work I use the other locations. This one is closer to home so the days I work from home this could become a regular option. I'll plan to come later in the day when it seems to be a bit quieter.

I did notice a few previous reviews and hope that only the good things about this gym are true. So far, I'm happy the few times I've worked out at this gym and apart from a little bit of nit picking regarding the size of the gym is small and the air ventilation it's a great place to work out.
I will be back for sure!

Weird staff female members always trying to invade your privacy in the showers. Always in your business when your getting dressed & the stalls aren’t private enough for all of that. Always want to clean as soon as I’m showering but when I’m on the floor they won’t even be back there. I’ve had this same problem at my old gym & of course women are always gonna be in denial. Glad to be away from nosey employees. Everyone else minds their business except for the employees.

I like this facility a lot. Very clean, employees are helpful, and the machines are great. There are 4 Smith machines so I almost never have to wait for one; a hip thrust machine; plenty of free weights; tons of treadmills; and the drinking fountain is nice and cold which matters to me.

Beyond happy with our new gym! They keep everything so clean! I hope it stays this way! The staff has also been superb; friendly & helpful! Myself and most gym goers do have 1 request, can we get wet sanitation wipes for the machines & spa? The wipes clean the equipment much more thoroughly! Also, can we request a higher quality battle rope? The current rope is a bit low quality. I'm usually an avid user, but this one is light weight and the cover on it doesn't do any favors. Just a couple suggestions we hope can be implemented. No issues with parking and the downstairs garage is clean and well lit. I love this gym and hope is stays this great for years to come!

Finally a gym where its not saturated with social media influencers, so called "models", douchbags, and gym bros. I can actually feel good about doing set of workout.

I don't have to worry as much about weights dropping and pounding the floor making an echo. This gym is a little small but that's exactly how a good environment should be, and not over crowded by people who go to show off their lack of gym attire and only do squats or roided out men who cant control themselves.

Overall, very happy to workout here and the staff are so great and attentive.

That review from "Nir Volkowich" is hilarious. Planet Fitness does not have a regular bench press, it's a smith machine which is still fine. There is plenty of equipment at this location for chest.

Adjustable Cables
Ton's of dumbbells
Bars to do dips
etc. etc.

If you don't know how to use the equipment in order to get a proper workout, you can ask an employee or look it up online. A lot of it is common sense though if you've been working out for years.

This gym is clean, new, and although they don't have my favorite ab machine (hoping you guys add it soon) I think this is great for beginners and people with experience. If you're nervous to start working out, Planet Fitness will help you gain that confidence and it'll help you realize no one really cares what you look like/are doing at the gym.

I liked the new PF in Studio City so much that I went and worked out TWICE on its grand opening day!
Seriously, having been a PF member since 2018, and belonging to and working out in HUNDREDS of locations around the country, I will say without hesitation that THIS location is by far my favorite. The layout, the equipment and the customer service was perfect. In fact, I was immediately ready to transfer my membership from my previous club to this one after just the first visit. Usually, PF staff don’t want to be bothered with doing this for its members, and will direct you to do it online. But, the General Manager, Bryan, was very happy to do this for me.

I don’t have rose colored glasses, I know it’s a brand new club and everything should be perfect, especially on grand opening day. But, as a former GM myself of a large chain of high end gyms, I have an especially critical eye, and I believe the Studio City PF will set the bar for all PF’s.

1. They didn't notify us about the change of schedule. I came over one day in June after the gym was supposed to be open, and only then did I discover a 3-week delay.
2. The staff are 16 years old and cannot answer simple questions.
3. The equipment is the cheapest I have ever seen in a gym.
4. There is no bench press. I have never in the world seen a gym without a bench press. You can't do a good chest session at this place.
5. This gym reminds me of the ridiculous low-cost flight companies.
