This gym is awful. In order to cancel your membership you have to show up in person and sign a form. They could have easily done this over the phone. Instead they make you come in.
But they have no problem charging your card multiple times even if you’ve filed claims to block them without a signature. They do this because they know most people will not notice the $15 charge.

I think it’s worth reviewing. Came back to PF after leaving to tryout other gyms. Went and tried out EŌS that was shame for them to say more premium than PF in gym line up. PF is much better, PF don’t bother you with endless lies to sale programs and supplements or lock you up in personal training programs. This location is never packed, clean and machines are organized in order. PF in past had hard to cancel issue but last time when I canceled it was quick online website switch and boom done same with resubscribing yeah it not in app sadly but on website still better.

Only lagging point for PF against EŌS is EŌS have better massage machines and access to BioStats report in their top tear subscription.

DO NOT GO HERE! Once they get your billing info, you’ll get charged: monthly fees, annual fees, and late fees, and they justify it by saying “company policy”. A late fee is 3 days late and the first day I was notified! All because they tried billing a different account than the card I had on file and they don’t allow primary charges to a card! I’ve been a Planet Fitness member for years. When I visit my dad in Fallbrook, I always drive to the Temecula location to work out. On Wednesday, June 18, I brought my wife with me for the first time. This was the only time I’ve ever used my Black Card guest privilege.

She wasn’t going to work out, so I asked the front desk if anyone was on the hydro loungers. The employee, who turned out to be the manager, told us to use lounger #1. I walked her back, showed her how to use it, and went to start my workout. The lounge area was completely empty.

After her session, she stayed seated to respond to a few texts. The manager came back, told her she wasn’t allowed to use the lounger, and escorted her out of the building. I didn’t see it happen. I was 15 minutes into my workout when she texted me that she had been kicked out.

After I finished, I asked the manager why he handled it that way. His response was that it’s “policy.” I looked it up and confirmed that technically he was right. But I’ve been to plenty of Planet Fitness locations and this has never been enforced like that. Not once. Even the teenagers they let in for free during the summer are allowed to use the loungers. No one cares.

This manager clearly did. And instead of handling it with a simple, polite conversation, he chose to treat my wife like she was breaking some serious rule. If she had been thinking about becoming a member, that idea is gone now.

You can have all the policies you want, but if you treat people like that, they won’t come back. I won’t either. Temecula is the worst-run Planet Fitness I’ve ever stepped into.

This is one of my three or four favorite gyms I've worked out at, and I've been to both the Bev Francis Gym in New York and the "Mecca" in Santa Monica. The staff, particularly Savannah and Naomi, are the nicest, friendliest people you could ever meet. There's enough equipment even for peak hours so that you're not stuck waiting, and all the equipment is new. Unless you have a real need for barbells, this gym has everything you could want, including a nice functional training area and ergometers (rowing machines) and an assortment of other cardio equipment. On the lifting side, they even have a leg press machine (that's plate-loaded) and three or four Smith machines, so you can still get plenty of heavy work in, including for your legs. Dumbbells go up to 75 lbs.

The locker room, toilets, and showers are super clean, and I see them come in every two hours or so to give them a mop and/or wipe down.

$15 a month, can't beat it!

I’m happy to write this review for one of the best value gyms in Temecula! My wife and I have been coming here since we moved from San Diego, and we’ve never had any issues. This Planet Fitness is always clean, and the staff is consistently friendly. Most people listen to their own music, but if you forget your headphones, their playlist is usually pretty awesome. I have the Black Card membership, so my wife gets to come as a guest for free, which is a great perk. Overall, it’s a solid gym with excellent value for the price!

Front desk associate Ashley frequently harasses my partner and I. She makes it a point to follow us, try to enforce rules that she can't find in their policy OR contract, and then smirks and laughs like a pretentious child.

This is a nice gym. Difficult to cancel membership. You can start a membership online, but canceling it must be done in person by the person whose name is on the membership. A wife can't cancel the leveraging for husband and family. And if you move out of state, the canceling process has to be done by mail, unless you can convince the new local Planet Fitness to transfer your membership and then cancel. Be ready to continue paying for a few more months until it's resolved.

Since our gym was closed during the pandemic after being a member for over 20 years, this definitely worth the $10 a month. It's clean, lots of exercise equipment and never really crowded when we go. Just moved near the area (I’m actually San Diego Co line, this location & Escondido are the closest) I like this a lot better than Moreno Valley-it was a nice gym in a great location alongside a bunch of great stores, but honestly some of the people that went there would ruin it occasionally, ghetto would be too polite to describe them. Plus here people do their thing & move on, not sit there playing with their phones like MoVal.

I love the set up here as well, much easier to find the machines. Only thing I noticed is this location weight machines don’t have the timers like the newer locations but not a dealbreaker at all.

Smaller than most planet fitness gyms. 1 set of kettlebells. 4ft wide stretching area. The lighting is awful, seems like it's extra dark. Came across the country to visit my Parents. I’m faithful to my workout routine. I usually bounce from place to place taking advantage of one day trials. I’ve been a member of planet fitness for about 4 years and I go the planet fitness on Winchester rd and Margarita. I’ve noticed that this location has started becoming dirtier since I started going. The equipment and floors are dirty with lint/hair/dirt and look like they haven’t been cleaned in a couple of months and bathrooms need cleanliness to be highly improved or I need to find a different gym. Looks like this place doesn’t have a manager because it should not look like that. Having 3 and sometimes 4 people behind the counter on their phones and kicking back instead of rotating for cleaning. This Winchester location needs to reflect the cleanliness of the Oceanside location because there’s a huge difference. I don’t need anyone to write telling me to talk the management location because they should’ve able to see what needs to improve.

Not bad but the showers are always funky, bathroom is wide open so you smell everything. Black card “spa” needs an update since the massage chairs aren’t as strong as they used to be. Not sure who it is but in the evening there’s always a dude asleep…like deep sleep on the massage chair or hydro bed. He may be important because the staff lets him chill there, so if he’s on one and the others are being used you’re SOL. Machines are good, free weights only go so high and the other gym goers are awesome about cleaning up and wiping down after themselves. Encountered a few roaches and the staff was quick to remove them. Great program for kids in the summer to workout. Best time to go is late night and the app helps to tell you if it’s busy or not. Price is good if you’re on a budget and starting a new routine.

I travel a lot which means I've been to quite a few PF locations. The first time I visited this one, it was dead quiet and the second day the music was barely on.
