As an introvert, I truly appreciate how everyone minds their business. There are always plenty of machines available on the cardio side. Although, It’s always pretty crowded near the free weights. The weight machines seem to always be available. The women’s bathroom is immaculate, can’t speak for the men’s. Overall, it’s a great experience so far. 👍🏽❤️

Their are always machines broken for weeks at a time. The free membership for teens all summer is a terrible problem. Especially when I'm paying for the black card. The crowd meter is never updated, every time I check, it indicates that there is a light crowd. But when I arrived to the gym it's always crowded.
Updated : There is a crunch fitness opening in town soon. After that response you just gave me I will definitely be switching. Untill then I will keep giving honest reviews on everything I see at the gym . THANK YOU!

Pretty decent gym with a chill atmosphere. Reasonable membership prices for either standard or black card membership (extra perks). Plenty of machines, equipment, and space to work out. I suggest to bring a friend for more fun and motivation. Cleaning stations scattered throughout the facility to enforce cleaning of equipment after every use.

They have roach problems but I've only seen one alive and one dead in the span of a month, plus it's Tracy. They have worse problems here than roaches. Bathrooms are filthy but I just don't use them. Problem solved. People are annoying and linger around the machine but that's sometimes not always. Plus if you time yourself and hold your ground people usually leave you be.

It’s really a hot and miss with cleanliness here I’ve come in and it’s been acceptable and then there’s times where it was in disarray. The one thing that has made it to where I will cancel my membership is my bank account and debit card are on file they’ve been since I opened my account and twice they’ve failed to charge my monthly fee on time then both times charged me a late fee I’ve called 3 times and was told the GM would call me back I’m still waiting for a return call and have yet to receive one so I will definitely cancel my membership

Huge Gym. A tremendous anount of quality equipment to make any goals a reality. Very clean too. I wish they had more full 24 hour days, they only have 4, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I love the staff at PF Tracy. Theybare all very courteous and greet me when enter and exit the gym. I shared my feelings with some of the staff today by saying how much I appreciate their efforts to keep the facility up and running. One of their challenges is staying on top of the cleanliness and equipment placement. Many of these members lack respect for the staff and facility itself. I'm one of those people that cleans up after myself, and quite often others who weren't taught manners. Members will take weights from a rack, and bring it to another part of the gym, and leave it there when they're done, as if they said "someone else will need it, so I'll just leave it here!" And not to mention the "men" who use the restrooms have poor aim, so I'll just leave it at that. Although the staff are employees of this organization, they're not your mommy or your daddy, clean up after yourself.... so we can have a clean, affordable and welcoming environment for all to enjoy, regardless of their fitness goals. Let's just do better... and thank you to all of these hard working young men and women at PF Tracy for doing the best you can to make it happen for us all!

I’ve been coming to this gym for about 6 months now and I can say planet fitness can be 2 completely different experiences depending on the time you go! I personally go early in the morning now (2-4am) just because it’s not quite as busy, but also because it’s much cleaner. I've been a Planet Fitness member for about a year. It seems they have a hard time keeping up with the sanitary part of the club. During the winter is cold and flu season, it's ridiculous when not one of the paper towel dispensers has towels in it. How is it possible for you to keep its sanitary without these. I've been to 6 or 7 Planet Fitness locations throughout the East Bay and Sacramento Valley and if showering is part of your gym routine, avoid Tracy. As an out of town guest, prior to my first visit, my first experience and impression of this gym was when I called ahead and Zanae answered the phone. She was super helpful answering my questions as well as greeting me when I came in shortly thereafter and assisting me with my many hydrobed start-up requests. Thank you, Zanae😊💐 After wrapping up my first workout session, during my second visit, Jackie helped me out with my hydrobed requests - thank you, Jackie😊💐 As far as my customer service experiences go with this location's staff, I'm a very happy customer!!

I LOVE that this location has 2 flat hydrobeds here. However, I'm NOT a fan of how many lights they have in their Black Card Spa area (too bright) or their placement; plus, it's absolutely ❄️🥶❄️ in the Spa area (see video). On my first visit, I wore a long sleeve shirt and pants the first time I used the hydrobed #1 and just about froze my top half of my body while the lower half kept somewhat warm from the hydrobed. Today, I came prepared with a jacket which helped; however, it doesn't help that both hydrobeds #1 and #2 have AC vents directly above them (see video).

Main gym floor area definitely could use some of the freezing Spa area temp to balance out the too warm, smell like B.O. space🤢(extra deodorant use for members who require it + a better ventilation, air purifier system would help). Also, the music is on the loud side - drowns out my headphones and I definitely don't want to busy my poor eardrums😵‍💫

I asked Zanae and Jackie and they explained the Spa thermostat's been broken for about two weeks and is on the list to be repaired as soon as possible. I know it's the holidays, but for their regular+future members and staff sake, I hope both the Spa and main floor temp/smell issues will be dealt with and resolved promptly.

Compared to other PF locations, both this gym and their women's locker area are relatively small but it still "feels" open and not cramped.

The women's bathroom floor could be cleaner.  Shower with frosted doors and dressing stalls with curtains aren't cramped either, which is really nice.

I can see how parking can be a regular issue during business hours in this shopping center.

All that to say, seeing as this is not my home gym, it's definitely doable when I'm in town visiting family and nothing beats seeing smiley front desk staff faces when you arrive and depart 😊 Zanae and Jackie rock!!!😊

.::good equipment, good service, diminishing experience...bathroom cleanliness needs substantial improvement especially evenings and weekends where stalls are frequently out of TP...sinks out of hand soap…it’s also curious that this location seems to be increasingly favoring gangster rap house music filled with all kinds of sexual innuendo, profanity, and additional inappropriate themes not heard in most other PF clubs i visit during my business travels across country…and other locations throughout SFO bay area…unlike other clubs i've visited, first thing i hear most evenings and weekends upon entering TCY club is gangster rap...TCY club music frequently shows “clean version” on house monitors for genres played…but lyrical themes remain offensive and inappropriate for young kids and families during evenings and weekends…TCY club should consider moderating, neutralizing, and limiting inappropriate house music to be more appropriate for all age groups…particularly for women, kids, and families who also frequently visit club…i'm curious if current genres of gangster rap house music played nights and weekends are indicative of current culture of PF-TCY gym…or if it's what some PF staff members and/or gym members want culture to be at this location…if gym continues to maintain this kind of house music…perhaps its time for me and maybe other members to explore alternative gym venues and memberships that don’t

I treated my son to the first month charge and specifically asked them to remove my card. I only wanted to pay the first month!
My son went away to college and froze his account. He was told that he was good until December. Well, my debit card just got charged the monthly fee plus a late fee! I just talked to the General Manager at the Tracy California branch who refused to help me. I asked to talk to someone above her and she said no, there is no one above her. So frustrating!!

It's nice but when teenagers are not there it's like a hang out for them, and there's a very odd smell around the whole gym. They let some homeless in to shower and stuff but dang they leave a mess. But when you're there early it's pretty nice. Pretty much saying you get what you pay for.

I am having treble experience with Tracy planet fitness, very poor customer service and poor,i call to cancel my membership they are saying i have to come do it in person while I’m out off the city they are keeping charging me i cancel it with my bank they charge me additional and they are still calling me for the payment i just want subscribe my membership

I have been going here for two years and recently wanted to upgrade my membership. The young man at the front desk, I think his name is drew, gave me a tour of the black card room. He was very thorough and explained all the benefits to me. He helped me on Thursday 9/29 around 12-1pm

This planet fitness is slowly going down as far as equipment maintenance! ripped seats, broken parts, handle bar grips, etc. etc. I have continuously asked the manager about this and nothing ever gets fixed or repaired. I do see (every now and then) a repair man in there but it's only for machines that have an out of order sign on them. I visited another planet fitness in So Cal and the difference was amazing. ALL of their machines were in very good shape/nothing broken or torn or in need of attention. I also think it's quite sad that the staff cannot help you with learning the machines or free weights because they are liable. How else are you supposed to learn? I'm hoping that the Tracy facility can get some help with these issues.
