The manager is really rude and controlling, constantly on the clients about their water bottles and clothing items being out. Idk what her deal is, tried befriending her but she is generally not nice. If you are in Vallejo I recommend the Sonoma location over this one.

I absolutely love this planet fitness!! I’m always traveling so I’ve been to plenty of planet fitness’s and none have made me as welcome as I do here. The employees are always greeting and always quick to keep trash and machines looking great. I definitely recommend this planet fitness. :)

The staff at this location is very rude and disrespectful. The young man that answered around the phone around 4:30pm 9/17/25 was so unprofessional . His attitude was disgusting and the way he was answering my questions was unprofessional. I will be switching home gyms. Planet fitness need to do better over all and customer service need a corporate number they can call instead of the gyms. Very uncalled for. I called back to speak with someone else 5:26pm 9/17/25 I spoke With Tjay he answered all my questions, very nice, professional, patient, and had a positive attitude he put everything at ease for me I think I will keep this as my home Gym just because of his professionalism. And somebody at planet fitness please make TJay a supervisor or manager.

Needs Air Conditioning like all gyms! Both Planet Fitness locations in Vallejo have NO Cooling and when it's sweltering hot outside-The last thing you need is to walk into a hot, humid gym! Get some AC!!!

As a black card member I have access to this gym despite this not being my home gym. I still have access to their nice black card spa. I love their hydro message beds more than other PF gyms. I like the locker and shower set up too, the showers have double curtains that offer more comfortable shower experience. Gym equipment is clearly new, however there are a few machines that cooperate gyms have but I’m able to make do.

Giving 3 stars because it’s so hot in there I couldn’t workout.
I stopped in the middle of my workout to go to the other planet fitness.

I’ve been at planet fitness 3 years and I’ve never had this issue to now.

I enjoy this location so much, most of the staff is friendly and helpful. It is very well kept. There's never a long wait even when its busy. I like the layout of the machines at this location, its sectioned off so its easy to navigate where you can work on what. Showers are clean and usually available and the spa is my favorite place in the world! Cryotherapy bed, Hydrotherapy bed and massage chairs are perfect for post workout cool down. Downloading the app for even more perks!

Rude staff. I went to this new location because it’s closer than the old one. I scanned in as I would do at the Sonoma bvd. They said I didn’t scan in, I said I did but I’ll scan again. Then the lady said you don’t have a black card you can’t work out here. (Really rude) Didn’t even offer to upgrade me or anything? Ok I’ll go back to the other one, thanks for ruining my day. I’m already anxious about working out, I did not feel welcome and I for sure felt like all the front end staff were judging me.

Their staff is always friendly. I like saying hello and goodbye to them and their facility is always spotless.
I absolutely love the cryo lounge chair and the hydromassage is always nice! There are never any equipment that is out of order when I go to that location. I really appreciate that this branch isso much closer to my house. When I first heard it was going to be a Planet Fitness many months ago, I couldn't contain my excitement.
INow they are finally here so I'm absolutely stoked! I have been more consistent with working out after they have opened so my energy is boosted and I feel so amazing.

Rude front desk person pushes a virtual tour when you are there in person. If there is 5 desk people, why can’t one of them help us find a way to do a physical tour and maybe win 3-4 memberships in one go. None of the people there were nice, caring, and or accommodating to us. Basically saying do a virtual tour, or sign up now. If not just look from here, how do you expect people to
sign up without even seeing the gym 1st hand. Definitely should switch SOP’s, every other gym would take advantage of the opportunity to make 5 guests like the facility and join. Now because of their lack of customer experience they have lost a couple
of members.

Experienced bad customer service. Came here to try it out and possibly switch home gyms (for those that don’t know planet fitness Classic memberships you can only go to one home gym), but it seems they could care less about getting new members. Spoke to two different people on 2 different occasions and they told me a different amount for a 1 day pass. Was willing to pay for the fee for what the first person said and then all of the sudden the second person tells me it is 400% more. So I said ok let me go ahead and switch to the higher membership since the one day pass was like paying for 2 months. The person at the counter then told me to do it on the app or go to the other gym to do it. Can’t tell you who they are as they weren’t wearing name tags unlike the other gym. I pay for memberships at 24 fitness and Fitness 19 as well as I like being able to go to the nearest gym wherever I might be and this is the worst front desk experience I’ve ever had.

If you need training accessories, such as a belt, jump rope, ankle straps, knee sleeves, and other things, then this is not the gym for you. They don't allow you to have a backpack during your workout. How tiring it is to have to carry accessories in your hands and have to go to the locker or the car every time you need another accessory.
