I like this place, although the one in Hesperia is more empty, its stil a good place especially cus its close, but im giving 5 stars because i love the older lady who works here😇 shes always so sweet with the nicknames. especially when i was new she would ask every day i came in how do i say my name and would compliment it, like everyday for a while lol its so cute but i love her my favorite worker here

Even with the price increase, no other "budget" gym comes close. You'll have everything you need to meet your fitness goals at this location. All machines are easy to use and their recovery room is always kept super clean. The staff members are friendly and it truly feels like a no judgement zone. I've had a membership for a while now and I usually enjoy my workout but lately there have been a lot of kids coming to the gym and they hang out and packs and just kind of loiter on the machines and none of the staff is paying attention I'm thinking of switching jams if this keeps going on cuz I come there to work out after work because I have a goal

My 17 year old daughter goes to this gym and has come home upset, on multiple occasions, about a young female employee named Tati being rude to her. It’s very upsetting that my teenager can’t go to a “judgment free zone” without leaving feeling insecure. Why hire someone so unpleasant? We will be making the move to crunch.

Let it be clear that this review is specifically for the one on Mariposa rd by Vallarta.

I have the black card, so I also go to the one in Apple Valley, and the one in Hesperia by Main St next to Target.

I like both of those, but for some reason this one in Mariposa just looks depressing. It could be the light or something but it just looks too gray / dark / depressing.

Also, I'll complain about the thing I always complain about in EVERY Planet fitness:

Aside from the treadmills and stair climber/stepmill that people ACTUALLY use, you DON'T need that many of the extra useless cardio machines like the Ellipticals and others. They're a waste of space.

I understand to have few of them but why so many? Most of the time they're empty because hardly anyone uses them.

But you know what people DO use and we don't have enough of? LEG WORKOUT MACHINES, there are only 2 of each and one is usually out of service.

LEG PRESS, there is only one and often taken

BENCH PRESS. Only like 3 and usually taken because some use them also for squatting. So we don't have enough of them.

THOSE we need more than the Ellipticals and the other machines that hardly anyone uses them. So my suggestion is to get rid off some of them and use that space for extra leg work out machines.

Again.. I'm not saying to get rid off ALL of them, I'm sure there are like 2 or 3 ladies that use the Ellipticals (not at the same time) so you probably only need like 2 of those and it goes the same for the other cardio machines that nobody uses.

I love my gym. The people are so nice and friendly. It's always clean. I can focus on my workout and watch TV as I work out. They have tanning beds, an infrared total body machine-love, and massage beds. Along with membership they offer great discounts at Nike etc. I have a Black card, it's worth the money. I take a plus one whenever I go. My Son plays high school football so no additional costs help. Also with the black card, I can go to any gym. I love that I can scan my phone or my keychain tag.

I really like this gym, only downside, they do have a lot of cardio machines, but not a lot of lifting machines or dumbbells! 👎🏽 You have to hurry and grab a smith machine, since there are only 4 machines currently. This gym would be awesome if they had more, if they don’t, I’m sure A LOT of people will be switching to gyms like Legends or The Gym. During my recent business trip to this location, I visited this gym for the first time. While the facilities were adequate, I couldn't help but notice a few areas for improvement. In comparison to my hometown gym, where cleanliness and equipment maintenance are top priorities, I found the cleanliness of the bathrooms here lacking. Additionally, the organization of the weights on the smith machines and barbells was haphazard, requiring me to walk to the farthest machine to find the weights I needed. It would be beneficial if the weights were properly arranged by weight category for easier access and a better workout experience.
