I used to love this place, then they added the grip socks rules. Cool I wore grip socks, annoying but ok, bc I loved this place. Then they made it where you couldnt take the recovery class unless you took their other classes. I spend all day emailing with them today, they found an old classpass account I had from over a year ago, so instead of helping me. They are tattle telling on me to classpass because they noticed I had two accounts. An old account that I dont use!! They refuse to just help me with my small issue of taking the class that I wanted. Using my credits, I wanted nothing for free. But they are all about calling the classpass rep to tell them about me, like I did something wrong. Bless this mess!!

Great work out, it is only 30 min but it definitely feels like an hour. It can be super intense. The plate vibrates under you, which is said to help burn calories even more. I personally like the cellulite recovery class, that is not an workout, it is mainly stretching and sitting on the machine on high vibration, which again is supposed to help with blood circulation and cellulite reduction.

I am hooked on this place! I just cannot say enough great things about Platefit and how amazing and charged I feel after every class. They have the nicest crew who know when to motivate or modify my workout on the spot and are inspiring and fun. Great music to move and work that body, too. I kid you not: Your workout will be so super-intense on the power plate but before you know it, the 30 minutes will go by in a flash. So, the power plate vibrates forward and back and up and down something like 30 to 50 times per minute while your rocking out on it and accelerates-intensifies your whole body workout. Fear not--it feels great and you'll feel awesome. Plus the instructors know how to read you and are always right there and ready to adjust your workout. I especially love taking the recovery classes. They're great for actively stretching and power plating away or at least reducing any muscle tweaks and lactic acid buildup that has hijacked or sidelined many a workout from other fitness classes I've taken. They have another studio I've gone to in Brentwood, too. So go. You'll thank me. And you're welcome! :-)

I definitely got a great work out! Plus you also get technique for dance. The class moves quickly so there is no time to check the clock like I sometimes do at other gym workouts. I would say credit to Michelle Sharman for this, who was my teacher on my classes. She keeps it fun and has great technique. She was very helpful with exercises I struggled with (abs!) highly recommend. Front door person is always great energy. Ben Pauley always greeted everyone with a smile and has a great sense of humour which is great when you are nervous for something new.
