This is a great dance studio on the second floor of the corner area (I don’t think they have a formal sign yet but there is a pilates sign then the “let’s play” lights at the top of the stairs in case you get lost at first like me). There are talented teachers like Rebecca and Christian that teach beginner classes and are patient and explain modifications for moves. They have a videographer for some of the night sessions and it levels up the experience. Beyond dance, they also have group exercises. Janelle who founded this place is also understanding and sweet - especially even after i had tech issues with mindbody app. There are a lot of professionals/more advanced dancers that come here but just keep showing up and trying to learn. I have taken a few classes at Play Hard Heels and recently auditioned into the beginner company heels team. So far I’ve loved the heels and hip hop classes I’ve taken because of the quality of instruction, and the welcoming culture of students. It’s clear that the director, Janelle uses her industry experience with jazz/funk and commercial heels to grow strong dancers to be prepared for the professional dance world, and also have fun while we’re at it! If you’re looking to grow as a dancer and elevate your skills in the industry, this is the company to do it with!

The only tricky thing about taking classes here is that it’s mostly street parking in the area where the studio is located.
