Power of One is a great place to take your kids. My son is on the Autism spectrum and they are really accommodating with him, helping him to feel included and very patient with him. He loves coming here and has built positive relationships with the staff here. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to send your little ones for Martial Arts!

Lakewood Power of One karate school is amazing. The coaches are very approachable, encouraging and attentive to all students.
I searched for a good martial arts school for many months before trying this location, and I am extremely glad I did. My son has recently started, and is truly enjoying his time there. They are helping him come out of his shell and building his self confidence. I highly recommend for all!

By far one of the biggest blessings in our lives. I never thought PO1 would be so important not only in my sons life but ours as well. Mr. B & Mrs.B care so much and it shows. My son has been part of this dojo for over a year, and loves it. He recently has started sparring and it is great to see him build skills but also grow self confidence. This is a family run operation, and the Bennetts obviously love what they do. They are good with kids and make almost every practice different so the kids are always having something fresh to learn!

We love Power of One Lakewood! My daughter (10) has attended for two years and my son (7) recently started. They both love it. The Bennett family and staff are amazing. Power of one Lakewood is a great place to be. My son Josh has been going to this dojo since it opened. He was 5 years old and now he is 10 years old and he still enjoy and love going. The Bennett family and other instructors is this place is wonderful, caring, motivated and no matter what the situation maybe they are always there to help. It is not only a dojo but a home for our kids. They not only communicate with the students but also the family. They motivate, educate and support each and everyone.

We were introduced to Power of One because my youngest daughter got invited to a birthday party there last Fall. They had a promotion for those who attended the party so I signed both of my girls up. My oldest loves taking karate at Power of One! The instructors are awesome and they recognize hard work and I love the values and discipline they're instilling in ask the kids.

They were able to pivot so quickly to online classes when the pandemic shut everything down and I'm so pleased that my daughter was even able to test for a belt during this pandemic!

I'm glad that in spite of the pandemic preventing in-class lessons (although now they are having lessons in their parking lot but we aren't participating yet), that my daughter has been able to continue her karate training due to the efforts of the Bennetts to meet the moment. It's not easy to embrace new technology and new platforms and they did it really quickly! Kudos to the Bennetts and their staff!

We joined P01 Lakewood because we lived down the street from the dojo. Our daughter was 7 at the time and she continues to go there now at the age of 10. The Bennetts are awesome and the kids love them. Our daughter become more focused and confident from attending the dojo. The Bennett family has great communication and most importantly passion when teaching. You can tell they really care about their students.

This Lakewood Power of One karate school is the best in the area. It is run by a husband and wife black belt team with two kids over 20 who are also black belts. The attention to the kids is unsurpassed. There is plenty of parking, easy access to the bathrooms, and plenty of seats so that you can sit and watch your kids learn martial arts. Parents are all friendly as are all the instructors. I searched for a good martial arts school for a couple of months before finally settling on this one, and I am happy that I did. It teaches not only karate, but also self discipline, responsibility self-awareness, and many other facets of life that kids need to become familiar with in order to succeed. This is a super positive environment for your kid to grow up in.
