I like doing my work out here. First of all, The gym always has been cleaned up. Secondly, employees are friendly and nice. Last but not least, I really much enjoy the hydro massage chair after my work out.
I just wanted to add that I love the gym has recently opened a place upstairs for warm up. However, it would look less compacted and more spacious if the wall has mirror with black paint instead of white paint.

I needed to get my A1-C under control. I joined the gym about a year ago. I don't go every day but since I've joined my blood sugars have dropped from an average of 280 to the low 100s. My A1-C went from 10.5 to under 7. The gym is close to home and never too crowded. It has a great mixture of people who have the desire to stay or become healthy and fit.

disheartened is the best way to describe my experience with powerhouse. Called today in hopes of getting adequate help with my membership. it was a little after 4 pm. Gentlemen at front desk was polite and professional. I had spoken with him the week before as well and he presented himself the same. I spoke with the “manager” Breana? She was rude, unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and she lacked the human communication skills in order to perform her job proficiently. I am aware of the systems in place in order to help members and I know the owners would not have taken kindly to how she handled my issues. This gym is local for me and my significant other and I enjoyed it! I WANTED to spend my money on a gym membership here but it seems like she doesn’t want to keep members. The disappointment is abundant.

A BIG HEARTFELT SHOUTOUT to Brainna and Lauren at the Menifee Powerhouse! I've been a member of this gym for years. I'm 60 this year and I've seen a lot of other gyms all over the country and internationally. It's rare to find staff members so consistently pleasant to work with. Running a gym and providing excellent customer service is no easy task. Recently Brianna was instrumental is resolving what was a major headache for me and my family. It took time, patience, and perseverance and Brianna saw it through. I see both Brianna and Lauren about 5 times a week and no matter how busy or hectic it may be, they both always have a kind word and a smile when I come and go. That's important and I appreciate it. I would give this gym negative stars if possible. First off, everything about this gym WOULD have been 4-5 stars, because equipment and amenities wise, they excel there. HOWEVER, what they do not tell you is what an absolute nightmare it is to cancel your membership. In fact, they make it so you are essentially signed into a contract and will be refused cancellation of your membership unless you have a reason that they deem acceptable (they say medical reasons or if you are moving, even then, you have to pay a ridiculous fee). My mom had a membership here, and wanted to cancel, they told her when she signed up that it would not be hard to cancel after my mom had asked “Before I sign anything, is it a nightmare to cancel?”, they promised her it would not be. My mom was unable to pay her membership, bugged them about wanting to cancel, did everything she could in order to cancel, and they still continued to refuse her a cancellation of her membership while to continuing to give her late fees rather than simply terminate her membership, as they state they will resort to in the agreement. Sure, I am at fault for not reading heavily into the contract, but there’s no reason a gym should not be transparent about what the contract truly says. In order to cancel, they direct you to a website where you have to email a higher up company, but they refuse to answer my questions directly about any question related to my cancellation. Thru simply state, “ABC is required to adhere to the policies set by the club.”…in response to a series of questions I asked of them. They in fact answered zero questions. As a first gym experience, this makes me never want to return to another gym once I get out of this one. I would highly recommend looking into nearly any other gym that doesn’t.

This is a great gym. One of the few that has a pool, which is important because swimming is one of the best full body workouts you can do. They have all the equipment you could need and the facility is large enough that it doesn't feel crowded even when it is. The staff and other members are all friendly. It's a great place to work out. Adrian helped me choose a membership that fit my needs and suggested equipment and workouts to help me recover from a recent injury. I'm back on my feet and stronger than ever. I’ve been coming to the Menifee location for a few months now, the gym is great even during busy hours I don’t have trouble finding a machine I need. Staff is friendly and my main reason for switching gyms was the daycare. My previous gym daycare my son would not stay, he would cry when we arrived and wouldn’t stop so they would call me to pick him up .They just kept them alive versus at Powerhouse they play with the kids, there are movies and games for them, and sometimes holiday crafts. You can bring them a snack and diapers, whereas my previous gym did not allow food or diapers. Really recommend especially if you have littles who need great care. All the girls in the daycare are friendly and my toddler son is very happy allowing me my time to exercise comfortably.

I will love to say powerhouse Menifee feels like home to me. I’m a bodybuilder and when I am in prep this feels like my safe place. Staff are so welcoming and sweet. Ok so I got the pregnant lady coming up to me stating I was confronting one of the employees in a different language ( Spanish? To be more specific, i usually don’t let No one to try to put me down, I was asked to removed the review I had given about the( Older Lady that does House keeping)) because it was affecting the business if not my membership would be. Cancelled if I show up at gym so today they did 🤷‍♀️.. I would not removed a review about an incident that I encountered at the gym with the House Keeping Lady, so today they decided to called the police cuz I refused to removed my review, so I guess they’re asking to get Sued, so the pregnant lady and the toilet cleaning lady decided it was cool to get on my face and blocked me to walk, funny I am a Pregnant Woman! Anyways I was followed by one of their employees when I left the gym all the way to my place , I am making it public something happens to me or my child I’m making PowerHouse Gym responsable for it! We’ve been proud Powerhouse Gym members since moving here from San Diego two years ago. Across the board, we’ve had great experiences at all three locations—Murrieta, Menifee, and San Jacinto. If you're looking for newer equipment, especially machines focused on glute and lower body workouts, both the Murrieta and Menifee locations offer more updated options.

That said, we have to give special recognition to the San Jacinto team. While the equipment there is a bit more dated, the staff truly make the difference. Chris, Grace, and Cindy are consistently welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Their positive attitudes are one of the main reasons we still frequent the San Jacinto location—shout out to them for always making us feel valued!

As for Menifee, we mainly come here for the steam sauna—one of Powerhouse’s standout features. In fact they are THE ONLY GYM that offers steam sauna pls pls don’t get rid of them 🙏🏽we have LAF & EOS and they don’t have steam saunas. Unlike many gyms that only offer dry saunas, Powerhouse Menifee offers a steam sauna, which is the #1 plus & their Best Selling point! However, we’ve found that it’s often out of order. We’ve since gotten into the habit of calling ahead to confirm whether it’s operational before making the trip, we don’t mind calling and all we ask is to Keep their steam sauna 🙏🏽🥰

Another highlight of the Menifee location is the Kids Club. We’ve found the staff here to be warm, friendly, and genuinely good with kids. It makes a huge difference when the childcare team is not only professional but also pleasant and welcoming. Compared to other locations, the Kids Club team in Menifee really stands out.

Overall, we love Powerhouse Gym and everything it offers across all three locations. Each location has its strengths, but with a few improvements—like ensuring the steam sauna is operational—Menifee could really shine even more.

Powerhouse, gym is my home away from home. All the amenities and luxury of a big chain gym, with a hometown touch. Brianna always makes me feel welcome, and is on top of any of my concerns. Best gym in town!

I signed up for a membership here for my wife and never once used it. I specifically chose the option that allowed me to cancel at any time. However, when I requested to cancel, I was still charged for an additional month. To make matters worse, the person I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and arrogant.

Poor customer service and misleading practices are unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

It used to be good with amazing music and good machines and not to packed but now I can’t use anything the machines suck and the music is some sucky non gym music I can barely hear.

I am going to this place for more then 2 year now. Good place to spend time for your self. And only thing I wish it had is jacuzzi. There are so new things added like cold tub. Infrared bed etc. It worth of your membership. And very friendly employees. I LOVE ❤️ this place.
