This gym is amazing! The workouts are personalized to you, and your specific needs, and change monthly. The trainers are constantly watching, motivating you, ensuring you are using proper/safe form, and encouraging you to safely progress.
They know each member, and where they are on their fitness journey, and add accountability by asking when you'll be back as you're leaving each time. While everyone is welcome, they specialize in people over 40. There are never huge crowds and you have your own station each workout, so you're never waiting for equipment. While it is not the cheapest gym in the area, you get what you pay for, and Prodigy gives you more than your monies worth. Knowing I have my own trainer right there as I workout is so reassuring. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to join!

Prodigy is unique and exceptional gym experience! It is absolutely not a cookie cutter commercial gym. Working with Andrew, Nick, and Hugo, each person gets a personalized programmed work out plan based on current fitness and goals. Every workout the trainers are there helping you, making sure you are being safe and effective in your workouts, and pushing you just the right amount. As someone who is experienced with lifting, I have found the workouts to be appropriately challenging and fun. But I am also a chiropractor and I love referring patients to Prodigy because I always know they will be safe from injury, getting stronger and more resilient, and learning proper lifting technique. I have nothing but great things to say about Prodigy and the whole team!

I was casually scrolling one day—half-distracted, probably looking for a good laugh—when I came across an ad for Prodigy Fitness. Normally, I delete, block, and keep it moving (that’s just how I roll). But something about Andrew, the owner, made me pause. He was sincere, a little cheesy, funny—and most importantly, real.
I scheduled a sit-down, and during the tour, I stayed guarded. I’ve had my share of disappointing gym experiences. But the vibe was different here. I joined the very next day and haven’t looked back since.
Then came Molly, the nutritionist—gentle, wise, and refreshingly non-judgmental. She didn’t talk about “good” or “bad” foods. She simply guided me toward the foods that support my goals. It wasn’t about restriction—it was about enhancement.
Pair that with lifting heavier, a personalized program, and trainers who understand that not every body is the same, and Prodigy quickly became more than a gym—it became a reset.
If you’re over 40 and thinking it’s too late to start again—trust me, this is your jam. I’m lifting stronger, eating smarter, and feeling better than I have in years.

I've been going to Prodigy Gym for about a month now, and I'm really enjoying it. The trainers are incredibly friendly and helpful.They're always willing to answer questions, offer assistance, and provide encouragement. They are highly qualified and provide excellent guidance.

Prodigy Fitness has truly been one of the best workout experiences I've had in a long time. From the flexibility in scheduling to the incredible coaching staff, everything about this gym makes it easy to stay consistent and motivated.
One of the things I appreciate most is the community. You start seeing familiar faces, learning names, and building connections with people who are all striving toward their fitness goals. It creates such a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
The location is also a huge plus for me — it's close to home, which means I can get in a great workout and still make it home with plenty of time before work. The flexible morning schedule is a game-changer. You're not locked into a specific time, so you can make it work with your own routine.
Another thing that really sets Prodigy apart is how much they prioritize safety. The coaches do an amazing job of making sure you're pushing yourself without overdoing it. I’ve felt supported every step of the way.
I also love the different daily workouts — they keep things fresh and exciting, and I can really feel the progress in my strength and endurance.
If you're looking for a gym that offers great coaching, community, flexibility, and results — I can’t recommend Prodigy Fitness enough.

I cannot recommend this gym enough for so many reasons. I joined after we moved across the country about 7 years ago and we met the owner at a farmers market. I liked his philosophy about lifting. I had two small kids under 5 at the time and wanted to get back into pre-baby shape. 30 pounds lost and many workouts later, I can’t imagine training without prodigy weekly. Each month the workouts change and they are always challenging. The coaches work with me to refine the workouts to meet my evolving goals. My favorite thing is hands down the community that Andrew and his team foster! It’s really unique and you always feel welcomed and supported at any point of your fitness journey.

Going on 5 years now! I first joined Prodigy Fitness just shortly before the pandemic. Andrew, the owner, impressed me then by switching to remote workouts without missing a beat and he continues to do so year after year!
Andrew and his team of coaches are amazing! The 1-hour classes are well structured: warm up, work out, cooldown. Each day of the week is a different style of workout.
Prodigy also offers personalized training programs. This is tailored specifically to my needs. As I age, and my goals change, my programs changed with me. I’ve gone from building strength to maintaining flexibility and stability of my shoulder, hips and knees.
I appreciate the coaches, the community, and the daily joke at Prodigy. 😂 It is still the best way to start my mornings!

I have been a member of Prodigy Fitness for the past 7 months and I absolutely love this gym, it has been a game changer for me!
There's a great mix of equipment and free weights and the schedule is very flexible. It is challenging but fun which makes it easy to remain consistent. Andrew and the coaches are super friendly and they genuinely care about your progress and work with your individual needs.

Update 6.19.25. Two years later, still a member. Prodigy has only improved over time. New, larger facility is clean and well maintained. Coaching staff is friendly, educated, and engaging. I love this place! I joined after multiple injuries had me sidelined from things I love to do. Andrew listened to my issues and developed a program to address them and get me back in shape to do the things I want and regain strength. Every month the program changes so you stay engaged. The gym is small enough that you get to know the others and Andrew’s team is always sufficient in number to make sure everyone can get the support, instruction and encouragement they need, as well as make sure your form is correct. Every person that works there knows every member’s name and the overall atmosphere is just great. From beginner to advanced, their custom written programs will keep you advancing. They also have a nutritionist on staff if you need help in that area. I am very glad I found Prodigy.

If you have found yourself looking at reviews for Prodigy Fitness, consider yourself lucky and do yourself a favor - go check it out. There is something special about Prodigy. It's the perfect combo of personal goals/plan and community atmosphere. From the first time you step in and you feel like you are walking into Cheers and everyone knows your name, to the warmups everyone messes up at first, to getting as much (or as little) help as you want/need for a new exercise, Andrew and all of the coaches celebrate in every win and help you through every challenge. The mix of gym members goes across every level of fitness with zero intimidation for newbies. If you don't want to talk to people and just want to get in/out with a personal workout plan, I've seen people do that too. I'm so grateful to have found this place.

I love this gym! It helped me start to recover from a knee injury I thought I’d need surgery for soon. The coaches are well trained and offer a great mix of cardio and strength with individualized training for each person. I have been a member of Prodigy Fitness for several years. In the past, I belong to CrossFit gyms, 24 hour fitness, fitness, 17, and a myriad of other gyms and work out facilities. I can unequivocally say that the environment, the staff and the other members are absolutely the best. Prodigy’s staff of highly trained professionals 1) take time to ensure that your workout is tailored to meet your needs 2) ensure that you’re performing the exercises properly and 3) motivate you to reach your fitness goals. While other gyms may be less expensive, you will never find a better value for personal training, accountability, and community involvement! 10 out of 5 stars, highly recommended!

I have now been with Prodigy Fitness for 5 years! That should tell you how much I love it and how great it is!! I love the 3 days of personal training and the fat blast days. I get training programs made for my goals. My body gets a complete workout. The coaches are all wonderful. And I love the community.

Updated review after 2 years: Yep, still loving Prodigy…especially the great new location with more space! Amazing coaches, awesome members and now we get helpful nutrition info too! And fun social events and contests. I love showing up 5-6 days a week and seeing the friendly regulars of all fitness levels.

Unlike most gyms, each person gets a custom set of workouts that target strength, toning, and flexibility. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and will guide you on technique. The thing I love about Prodigy Fitness is the small community feel. All the members there are all friends, look out each other, push you to do your best, and really hold you accountable for being consistent. It's easy to join a big "typical" gym, but then you're pretty much on your own and get lost in the crowd. I hadn't been to a gym in quite a while prior to joining Prodigy so I was really nervous the first time I went, but the members and coaches there are so welcoming, I really felt part of a family from day 1. It is truly a joy to get up in the morning, get a good workout in, and hang out with my friends. Best coffee on the planet! Thank you Prodigy!

Andrew is the kindest, warmest, most generous-spirited gym owner you will find. He knows all of his clients by name, cares about them, and provides more than just great workouts. When I joined Prodigy I had been training solo, mostly running, but lacked any type of consistency or regimented program. That all changed when I joined Prodigy and in less than a year, through dedicated and support of the community that workout at Prodigy, I lost close to 30 lbs! Prodigy Fitness is the bomb dot com! I've been working out here since 2015. I am able to do things that I never could imagine. From just being able to lift a 35lb bar to deadlifting 245lbs! I believe in this place so much that this year I started working here. The atmosphere, the people, the coach! I love my fitfam! We see each other and support each other in and out of the gym! With Andrews guidance and training I've completed a few Spartan Sprints, this year I did my first Super and this September I will be completing my First Spartan Trifecta in Tahoe! 💚💚💚

Time flies. Wrote my first review of Prodigy in June 2015. So, it's been 3 years! Andrew has tailored my 2x weekly program (box jumps, deadlifts, lunges, hamstring curls) for the strength I need to avoid injury, plus more (deadbugs, inverted rows, dumbell presses, pullups, pushups, squats). Recently, added: Assault Fitness AirBike. Intervals on that one are tough, but I'm looking forward to see the results. I'm still playing soccer, and I feel like I did in 2015. Bumps, bruises, soreness...sure. But I've had no "self-inflicted" debilitating problems like calf, quad, or hamstring pulls. Prodigy continues to help me sidestep time. I'm 64. Thank you, Andrew.

Andrew is very knowledgable and has an extensive background in sports performance and is able to focus on you individually to ensure every workout is safe while achieving the results you want and need at any stage of your life. Andrew is not your regular everyday personal trainer. He has the knowledge and background to create a program that is specific to your needs that will help you achieve the goals you want.
I attended one of Prodigy's boot camps and the thing that I learned was that if you want to make a real difference in your health and body you need to have someone like Andrew helping you make that happen. I can go to the gym all day and do what I want and see minimal results or I can have Andrew train me and push me so I can have the results I want.
Prodigy Performance is also very community conscious and are constantly supporting non profits and charities. I highly recommend attending one of their "Boot Camps for a Cause". It is the perfect opportunity to see what they can do for you, help a good cause, and get a great workout all at once.
