Just finished a couple of classes with our new instructor, Lindsay, who impressed me with her choreography and class management. The timing for each sequence was perfect, and transitions were organic. Both classes were well thought out. Music was also fun. Lindsay's kind and encouraging teaching style made these classes a great barre experience.

I have written six years ago that I have tried several different barre classes, but Pure Barre is my favorite because I see the most results. The exercise routine is challenging but fun and motivating, with great music. The instructors are professional, knowledgeable, and also very personable. They are very good at assisting with the proper alignment in order to prevent any strains or injuries. These wonderful instructors motivate us to give the very best becoming stronger and healthier. There is a great energy in each class in this spacious studio. My statement still holds true. I would like to add that this Pure Barre studio, and also the one in Brentwood, under Kayla’s wise leadership, are hubs of a great community where everyone feels welcome, no matter the age or level of barre expertise. You will make true friends here. Come and tuck with us!

Pure Barre has become so much more than just a workout for me—it’s a daily practice that gives me an hour to reconnect with myself. Each class is a chance to check in with my mental and physical state, focus on my breath, and let go of anything that isn’t serving my best self. Pure Barre Santa Monica (and Brentwood) are my favorite fitness studios for full-body, low-impact workouts. They now offer different classes for whatever your needs are - strength building, cardio, stretching, and more. Really bad attitude!
I have scheduled my first lesson and the girl (I forgot here name) was with me on line something like 10 minutes!
but she forgot to tell very important things!
That the parking is extra charge but a few blocks from the location it’s free.
So I park and pay and when I wanted to join the class the girl in the reception told me that I have to wear socks
Of course that no one told me that I have to bring socks with me!!!!! but they sell there socks in a price of
18$!!!!!!
A lesson cost 20$!!!!
And the girl and the reception was like oh you should purchase the socks or i don’t have I do not a way to help you
Of course they cannot “make an exception” one time for a new customer so I left there !!!!!!didn’t made a class at all !!!!!!
!!!!!and I will never come back

I have known about Pure Barre for a few years now but never tried it out. Now that I have gone, I don't understand what took me so long to try the classes! I absolutely love it here! The girls really push you to the max and you really feel the burn all over. It's addicting!

I love these workouts! Every instructor I've had is awesome. I'm 62 so I'm not as flexible as I used to be. I can see these classes will really help that. I do a lot of spinning, but I can tell the Pure Barre classes will do much more to help shape my body. I'm hooked!

Great location and classes are always challenging. Staff is super friendly and helpful, facilities are clean, and they're always on time. The instructors make an effort to learn your name and give you personal instructions and corrections throughout the class so every time you get better and they make it harder and harder. Kevin is an amazing instructor, highly recommend!

I love working out at Pure Barre! Kevin and Michelle are my two favorite instructors there (although I've been to other instructors as well and they are generally all great). It's a great way to tone and sculpt, with just the right amount of strength training and cardio also incorporated. Don't forget to bring your grippy socks!

I honestly like all of the instructors, and can count on always getting a great workout no matter which class I take. Not only do the workouts go by quickly and stay interesting, the "science" is state of the art, so the exercises are more efficient than ever, and help you get in great shape faster.

Fun class. Anyone can do the little movements- it's just a matter of motivation to keep going. It's not easy! The instructors use headset microphones, so it can sometimes feel more like jazzercise/aerobics depending on the instructor.

I just had a total hip replacement and I do Pilates but Pure Barre really targets strengthening of the hip muscles particularly in standing which I need to get back to work as a physical therapist. I also like the added benefits of the Cardio and upper arm strengthening with weights which I am too lazy to do on my own. The structure of the class is designed well that you never feel like you do too much of the exercises you don't like. I also appreciate changing the choreography of the exercises. And all the different styles and variety of teachers is great.

A colleague of mine suggested I try out a barre class since she really loves it. Since this place is close by my work I decided to try it out. There's definitely a learning curve to some of the movements but all of the instructors here are so helpful and encouraging I loved it! They take the time to get to know you and keep a close eye so they can correct your form and make sure you're doing everything correctly. The schedule is also super convenient so it's easy to take a class before work, during your lunch break or immediately after. Love coming here :)

First of all, this is the hardest (in a good way) class I've ever taken, except maybe vector calculus. The teachers are all really nice, they make you feel like you can do it even if you're a less than coordinated participant like myself, and the facility is super comfy. If you like to dance, and you want to feel like you did something really proactive about your butt, you should check it out. Shout out to Michelle and Kevin, who are both great!

I <3 <3 <3 Pure Barre! Love the regular pure barre class and also the Platform. Was really different. Super challenging! I'm always sore the next day (with regular and Platform) . Feels like I really accomplished a good workout. If you are looking for a challenge and to tone up Pure Barre is it!! Love especially Michelle Ditto's class! Plays awesome music, challenges me ever time and very encouraging!
