(8/23/25 - Red / Bella) I'm dead. Brutal Bella killed me.
(8/24/25 - Red / Bella) Brutal Bella is not a cleric because I came back from the dead and she was not able to kill me again. Still a good class tho.
(8/26/25 - Red / Danny) Danny bringing the heat to an already hot class. 5/5 would recommend.
(9/1/25 - Green / Jessica) Green means go? Good ? Great ? Yeah that it’s. Great green class 5/5.
(9/27/25 - Red / Katelin) A good class on its way to a great class or a diamond in the rough. Looking forward to seeing what becomes of the new instructor.
(11/3/26 - Red /Bella) Bella brought her A game and between that and the Giselle at the front desk made coming back after a month seems like home.

We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica with Danny Strain et al. . Relaxing in the lush tropics; 90 minute DEEP massages; swimming in their BLUE OSA pool, walking along the coast for those beautiful sunrise/ sunsets. For those more adventurous souls - the tree top zip lines, kayak in the Mangroves and Matapolo hike to waterfalls will certainly please. As for accommodations, we had a beautiful view of the ocean and could hear the waves . At night during HIGH TIDE the waves were a bit too loud — but DANNY was able to move us to a quieter room. STAFF at BLUE OSA were very accommodating. If you are a VEGETARIAN you’re going to love the FOOD - if you’re on the CARNIVORE diet - NO BEEF NO PORK. But your can make up for it with EGGS GALORE cooked to your liking and CHICKEN. If you are coming in OCTOBER- it does get DARK and RAINY at times. You will need ear plugs for those noisy downpours. But the best was the YOGA, the diversity of people, the smiles the laughs - learning to play, relate and enjoying each others company. Simply a PRICELESS EXPERIENCE.

Holie had a wonderful vocabulary of teaching us about our bodies, thus understanding how our bodies function with care. I am excited to learn more about how our bodies interact with the muscles we worked on today. She was also great at modeling and helping me with modifications. Bella did an amazing job as well as sharing her magnificent sound bath. I have never experienced such a beauty of sounds that supported my experience in finding my deep breathing pattern that worked for me. I have great after pictures as well to share! Thank you both deeply from the bottom of my heart. 💜

10/10. Nadia is phenomenal, one of the most attentive instructors I’ve ever had the pleasure to learn from. I have been taking her Blue classes 2xs a week for 6 months, and no class has ever been the same. Every class she introduces a new move and finds ways to challenge us. I really value feeling like I’m always growing and improving even though I have stayed in the Blue level. Thank you, Nadia 🥹❤️.

Best yoga studio in North Orange County. Hands down. Great instructors, cheerful front end staff, extremely clean facility. So many classes throughout the day to choose from, with 2 rooms for regular and hot classes. I work full time, and I can’t get to a class during business hours. I can still get a class in at 6 am or late afternoon/evening time. My practice has deepened and I’m much more pleasant at work now 😁

Purple Yoga has excellent yoga instructors with a focus on building strength, endurance, and flexibility.
If you’re looking for a challenging workout that builds safe, consistent physical fitness, you need to try one of Purple Yoga’s top instructors: Danny Strain. He’s one of the best yoga instructors I’ve met—bar none.
His classes are thoughtfully designed and reliably challenging in the best way. Danny varies his flow each week, keeping things both fresh and familiar, while maintaining a strong focus on form, balance, and stability. He invites us to hold poses long enough to build real strength and sequences them intelligently—alternating between stretching and strengthening, upper and lower body, left and right—so the whole body is engaged without unnecessary strain.
Danny’s classes push you in all the right ways. Every session motivates me to give more. His approach builds strength, skill, and lasting progress—and keeps me coming back for more.
Beyond his technical expertise, Danny brings warmth, kindness, humor, and a genuinely positive energy to the room. He truly embodies the high-quality, supportive instruction that defines Purple Yoga.
Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner in Downtown Fullerton, CA, Danny’s hot yoga classes at Purple Yoga are a smart and safe way to build strength, flexibility, and endurance—without risking injury. I highly recommend his classes.

What a great class!
Bella is a clear and thoughtful communicator—she lets you know what’s coming next, which helps you stay motivated and push through, knowing a break or cooldown is just around the corner. Her bright and cheerful energy radiates throughout the room, turning the intense challenge of hot yoga into an uplifting and enjoyable experience. As tough as it can be, I always feel supported to give my best and reach beyond what I thought I was capable of. Bella is one of my favorite instructors—not only for her skill in challenging the class, but also for the compassion she shows to those who are committed to becoming more than they believed possible.

Three years later, and my love for Purple has only grown! In addition to being a loyal member for three years, I’ve now been on three incredible retreats—each one more special than the last. This place is truly one of a kind—the community, the workouts, the facilities… second to none. The new floors and pristine studio are just a bonus because the real magic is in the instructors. They don’t just lead classes—they teach, they encourage, and they bring so much heart to every session.
Take a class led by Danny, Lauren, Danielle, Bella, or Alex, and you’ll be set! Keep coming back, and you’ll see—this community takes care of its own. Purple isn’t just a studio; it’s a home away from home. Forever grateful to have found this gem!

I found this gem on a new member unlimited month deal. Whoa~! I am thrilled with the classes I have taken so far. There is a huge amount of classes offered each week which makes it easy for this busy momma to be able to get to a class. I like the online scheduler and ability to reserve a class. The studio is modern in decor and spotless in cleanliness. Each staff member I have met has been warm and welcoming. The instructors take time to really teach. And oh the sweat--- I have been doing yoga for a few years pretty regularly, but the RED class---a game changer. I can't wait to go back. Thanks Purple! Keep up the good work--- this yogi is one happy girl to have found you!

I took the Blue Class with Nadia at Purple Yoga, and it was a fantastic experience. The class had a calming energy and focused on foundational movements, allowing me to really connect with each pose. Nadia provided just the right amount of time to settle into the postures, making it a great space to both learn and refine my practice. Her guidance was clear and supportive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all levels. I left feeling refreshed, centered, and more confident in my alignment. Highly recommend!

Signed up for a month unlimited while dogsitting in Fullerton for a few weeks. Great value for the frequency of my practice. Loved the studio and variety of classes available. Did most of my classes with Danny and Alex. Both are skillful and intuitive instructors. Excellent cueing, pacing and attention to adjustments. The support staff were friendly, knowledgable and made my time there feel like i was at home in the studio.
Highly reccomended and I will definitely practice there again.

Love this place! I had been doing yoga at home for a while and attended a few in person classes elsewhere. A friend brought me here in April for a Red 60 class and I’ve been hooked. I started on the 2 classes a month plan and quickly quickly switched to 4 classes a month.
The class is challenging and HOT but challenges me perfectly that I can see the growth in my practice. It’s not overly challenging that I give up. I feel physically strong and mentally refreshed after class. Very sweaty also. Seriously, it’s all a great feeling.
Even on days I am tired or life is really doing its thing, I push myself to come and feel so much better after.
I’ve also tried the Gentle Flow class and Blue 60. They are so great also when I want to switch it up and take it a little easier, less hot and focus on poses longer.
The facility is great and clean and the staff and instructors are insanely kind, knowledgeable and personable.
Love purple yoga and will keep at it and continue to see my progress.
Thankful for the friend who referred me.

I have been going to Purple Yoga for years and left many 5 star ratings because their instructors are truly top notch and the facility is well kept and enjoyable to go to. So why the 1 star review then? They're billing and their app is literally the worst I've ever seen in a business. They make mistakes on a regular basis-not sometimes as would be reasonable with any business-literally all the time.
If you use the app to book a class, show up, and the front desk forgets to check you in properly, the app will automatically charge you $15 or $28 depending on the rate of the class that day. Logically, you would think it would just remove one of your classes if you pay monthly for not showing up. Nope, it charges you. Then any dispute you have with billing CANNOT be handled by the front desk. They are not given the ability to fix any accounting errors. They have to call someone off site, you have to email and call if they don't get back to you-which they usually don't for at least 2 days.
My friends made the mistake of buying me a gift card for my birthday and the front desk was not even able to load it properly to my account without several phone calls and mistakes.
I made the mistake of buying my friend a $120 gift card for her birthday and there was nothing on it. They credited my friend $120 then accidentally charged me another $118 by mistake. After several back and forth phone calls and emails, they told me they refunded me and they never did. I had to dispute the payment with my bank. After telling me they fixed this, I now see that the app shows that I owe $118.
To make it even worse, after my automatic payment went through I attempted to sign up for a class and it showed that I had used all of them up. Again, another phone call to deal with their buggy app.
The sad thing is that I'm actually not listing ALL of the issues I've had with billing because this review is already ridiculously long.
It's actually comical how bad they are at accounting and how buggy their app is. I emailed that I would start putting up poor reviews from now on after every billing error. So here I am. They didn't address that. Frankly, I don't think they really care because they have a lot of loyalty due to how good their instructors are. My husband has been begging me to just quit them because they're such idiots with accounting and it requires a lot of time and effort on my part to correct their mistakes.
I'm currently looking for another Yoga studio to love as much as this one because dealing with all of their accounting errors actually creates stress-which is kind of counter-productive for taking yoga. Lol.
I'm hoping this poor review gets accounting and ownership to listen. I really don't want to have to find another place, but I feel kind of stupid on principal continuing to put up with this. 😢

I noticed they are not listed with the better business bureau. Don't trust them! The most disturbing part of my experience is that it became clear when I spoke to the receptionist that the following is a regular practice and the owner knows many people accidentally purchase a subscription without realizing it. I purchased a class but then got a new credit card. They asked for my credit card number before one of the classes. I had attended a couple of classes and thought they seemed great, so I made the mistake of trusting this studio. Six months later, I find out they charged $420 to my credit card. I guess I had signed up for a membership online for my first class, but I did not know this. They got my credit card number because they needed to keep charging me. I did not attend a single class during my "membership" but they won't refund me a dollar. I just don't understand how someone can justify taking someone's money without providing anything to them. They offered credits towards future classes but I cannot attend classes due to a back injury. The owner didn't think this mattered since they have lots of great Lulu Lemon merchandise items I can purchase in their store. What am I going to do with $420 in Lulu Lemon outfits? The owner seems money hungry. Stay away.

To us
- My wife and decided to take hobby together and choose yoga as our first project. It was fun while it lasted and us no longer attending is no fault of the studio but rather us wanting to try different things as a couple. I went here for 2 months and have enjoyed the experience very much.
To others
- The parking is horrendous due to the fact that its situated down in downtown fullerton. If you want the prime parking spot, you might want to come early to park or park behind purple yoga studio where parking is usually always available.
- I haven't been to lot of yoga studio, but one thing I liked is that there is no beginner or advance class. Its all the same. you take the pose and the instructor will do variations depending on your level, which I liked quite a bit.
To the owners
- I am sure this is by design and you guys already thought about this from strategic point, but...I wished you had same class consistently. Like Green every 5pm-6pm, M-F. rather than having sporadically. We wanted to attend multiple times a week but Gentle flow was only available on Thursday time block that worked for us. = (
- This part I am not sure, but every class we attended, we never start on time. If the studio starts at 6:00pm, the instructors are chilling outside till like 6:02 pm, then come in, adjust the lights, put the music, etc. To someone who manages time well, this bothered me to no end. In the last 2 months, we went all 8-10 times, we started late all 7-9 times. (except one)
Lastly...
- Even in the short time I spent here, I appreciate everyone's positive energy. Especially Mr. Roberts. (The only one who actually started the class on time.) And although everyone had good energy, he was on another level.
Business is something that takes certain mind set to succeed. I wish you nothing but the best. Regards,

This was not my first time in this studio but this last time, service was horrible, unprofessional, and disrespectful.
When I walked in, they didn't even welcome us and asked my phone and card information to put it on file. I did not had my wallet with me and all I had was Apple Pay. She said I cannot take the class without the card information on file and rejected me.
First of all, I checked their website, classpass reservation policy, and even emails that they sent me before the reservation BUT not even a single place mention or state this credit card information policy where you cannot take the class without it. It would be convenient for studio to write that policy on their website or send an email in advance to clients so we are aware of this informations. Or having that written down and put it on the studio for clients know. Then I would've brought my card in advance. BECAUSE it’s ridiculous that they reject their valued clients just because they don’t have their credit card information at that time of moment.
Second, I told her that since I booked the class through classpass, my information is saved there and asked if I can take the class and give them a call after when I get home. She said that I cannot take the class without the card info. The reason they needed to have credit card info was to charge a client for late arrival or no show. I even explained to her nicely that since all that information is saved on classpass, if I show late or cancel, they will charge me and the studio will get notified. Usually that's how the third party works. It's not their first time having a client using a classpass. They did mention that this will be their last month to taking clients through classpass. Obviously, they knew how the classpass works and knows that if I am late then classpass will charge me directly and I do not need to provide my information to them if I wanted to.
Lastly, I was not even late for the class. I was actually 10 mins early and I understand that credit card policy is to prevent for the future reference. They could've work this out better than this. Since it was not informed and not stated in anywhere, I felt like they were discriminating us. There was no further explaination about rejecting clients just because of credit card info. They didn't even apologize and felt sorry for us. All she said was that this is their policy so we cannot take the class without the credit card information which was a nonsense to me. Was I late? Did you had this info on their website, classpass policy, or email?? Why didn’t you asked me this last time?
This was unplesant experience and very unprofessional way for them to inform their clients this way.
After I decided to just move on and leave the studio, she said "that's what everyone should carry their credit card around."
That was unnecessary comment that she made and I felt so disrespectful.
