Visiting town from AZ, wanted to get a good lift in and came across this gem. It’s a small group class focusing on compound lifting with heavy weight with a coach! Beginners & advanced would do great in this studio! Very friendly and helpful staff, too! 👏🏻 nice job putting together a stellar fitness studio!

FINALLY! A group fitness class 100% dedicated to lifting with no cardio! The programming is extremely well thought out, the format allows for strength progression in an extremely safe and supportive way, and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to be back!

Wow! Jack and Carly are amazing. These two sure know what a real workout should look like. Racked is a great place to work out if you’re looking for traditional strength training. They don’t bs with all the fad trends, it’s strictly lifting with an emphasis on progression overload. I loved the small feel of the gym, totally not a scene, everyone is there to lift and get strong, and it’s still a great community. Coming from a gym that was mainly focused on traditional strength training, and moving back to OC my husband and I have found it super challenging to find a facility that met our goals - then RACKED came into my life. My first day all RDL, no cardio, and honestly that’s what I was looking for. The partner rotation is actually nice because it challenges you and everyone is so supportive in the gym and they really push you to be your best. Our trainer was Leithan. He was awesome, really made sure my technique and form was right while pushing me to give it my all. I appreciated everything about this gym, and hope to be back very soon with my husband so he can see how great it is. Thank you RACKED for an incredible workout!

I called and spoke to a gentleman he was very limited services. You can only lift there if you use one of their trainers and do their workouts. I don't need that. I just want somewhere to work out. I hope this works great for you but by the denying people the opportunity to lift and use their own programs, you are discriminating against people that are knowledgeable in weight lifting. I appreciate the response but it doesn't change the fact that you are discriminating against people with your services. Good luck to you God bless you but my one star rating will remain because by discriminating you have became a 1 star service

Racked is exactly what I have been looking for! I found racked as a recommendation from Aleks after taking her classes at other studios. The workouts are simple and goal oriented. As a beginner who struggles to understand the concepts of lifting, I was getting frustrated and embarrassed at other small group training studios because their movements were unorganized and complicated leaving me confused. But Racked is clean cut and you know exactly what you're getting. My instructor Dominique was awesome and everyone in class were regulars so it was fun! I also really liked the Jared helped me book my first class and answered all of my questions for me. Cant wait to go back! :)

I used to be a HITT girly and was scared of weight training but racked changed that for me. My absolute favorite aspect is the personalized approach to training. The classes are small with only 8 people per class so the trainers genuinely take the time to understand each of us every week. Its unlike group classes where I often felt overlooked, here, I'm fully engaged. Shout out to coach Carly and coach Dominique. They bring the energy every morning at 5am and are truly the best hype team!

I’ve been going here for 6 months and love it. From the coaches to the community that this gym has is amazing. I wanted to get better at lifting heavy weight and that’s just what this gym has to offer. Racked is incredible. The trainers are super friendly, knowledgeable and motivating. All the members are welcoming and friendly as well. You get in, get a killer workout, and walk out feeling amazing. I’ve been a member for about 6 months and my strength has improved tremendously. The classes are small, which is what I wanted. I’ve never felt intimidated to ask questions or ask for corrections. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Be warned, you will get hooked! Last thing is, the weekly schedule changes and you never get bored. Shout out to Caitlin, Carly, Dom, Aleks and Jack. You all have pushed me to get better every session and I look forward to coming to class and seeing your smiling faces.

Hands down my favorite gym yet!! I’ve done personal training for years, 1:1, and I still feel like I am getting personalized training but in a small group setting. This gym has helped me feel more comfortable working out independently in an open gym setting because Racked has taught me how to use equipment and rack weights on my own. The instructors all make me feel comfortable and always give me tips on ways to improve my form! Lastly, the location is awesome on the Newport Peninsula! Stoked to be a member of this gym and excited for the gainssss!!!!

I love Racked! The programs are designed so that anyone can do them. If you work hard, results are nearly guaranteed. Classes are small and focused and you'll leave with the feeling that you really accomplished something great. You won't find better coaches. They encourage progress and push people beyond what they think is possible and they genuinely seem to enjoy their job. We love love this place!! The workout is so intense sometimes I don’t know how I’m doing it! I haven’t weight trained in a long time, but now I get the best results from weight training and I was a little hesitant to join this place, thinking that I wouldn’t be able to keep up but you just do the best that you can and my results have been amazing. One of the best additions to the peninsula of Newport Beach. A smaller quaint gym will phenomenal instructors. They get right down to business and give you a work out filled with fun and challenges. I am completely obsessed with this gym. The instructors are awesome. They focus on form and quality reps while still getting our heart rate up and keeping us moving. I can’t wait to go to the gym everyday. It’s a mix of experience as far the clients are concerned and it’s super fun. I come from a powerlifting background and am extroverted. I love strength training but also crave a group setting. Racked gives me both of those things! 10/10 highly recommend.
